    Just hooked this up to my 08 Range Rover Sport. Works wonderfully. Took about half an hour to install. The accessory wire is an awesome addition, prior to that the radio would only come on with the ignition on but now it comes on with the key on accessory. Be warned that if you hook that accessory wire up to the original circuit it will keep the ignition on after you remove the key.

    I HIGHLY recommend you download the app and check your vehicle is supported before trying to install this unit. Mine wasn't and it was a nightmare trying to figure out the correct wiring, once connected it would not work in manual assign mode - and my JVC head unit would not recognise it no matter which SWC connection I used, eventually ripped it out and returned to the vendor. Aerpro plug & play to suit my vehicle ordered.

    Hey man. I got this installed along with a kenwood stereo in my Honda Pilot. The steering wheel controls works sometimes and at other times they don’t. Any idea why this would happening? Thanks

    I installed in a 2015 Mazda 3 base model (no touch screen) also opted for the SWI-CP2 to retain my steering wheel control, I hooked it all up following the directions step by step
    I have a Kenwood KMM-BT328U
    -the dip setting I have on the SWi-CP2 (For explanation I will say up and down “DOWN has the word ON with a arrow pointing down)
    1-down
    2-down
    3-down
    4-down
    5-down
    6-down
    7-up
    8-up
    Second bar
    1-down
    2-down
    3-up
    4-up
    The steering wheel controls do not work and they kinda do..... they are not doing what they are suppose to if I hold the volume down button or click it a bunch of times it will bring the head unit all the way down to zero and will not let me go up on the volume and when I click back or forth on the Seek/next tack it makes head unit “ATT ON/ATT OFF”
    only flaws I found is the second step in wiring
    -
    it says to connect wire WHITE/BLACK to Pin 12 grey( on my car pin 12 is black and pin 14 is grey) now I know some time manufactures change color of wire but not pin spots so I connected to pin 12
    -second part there is multiple BLACK wires to connect to my car on Pin 14 as well as Pin 9 I even thought I may have mixed those up and tried reversing them as they are both solid black coming from the SWI-CP2
    Also seems that when the SWI-CP2 is connected it’s flashes green constantly in the trouble shooting that states “A button is being pressed”
    Hope to hear back with a resolution, Thanks

    I've installed the CP2 in my 2000 Camaro following the supplied instructions and loaded the program using my laptop. If I load the program via USB do I then set the dipswitches to the right model and radio? or is it possible something is wired wrong I looked up the wiring diagram and everything seems right (aside from the fact that my Red wire on SWI-CP2 harness is pink instead of red....)

    I cannot figure out how to install this thing on my 2011 Evo X that had factory Rockford Navigation. I'm putting in a Carplay Pioneer receiver. I got it from Crutchfield and they did the pre-wiring but there is a piece that I am having a difficult time understanding based on the instructions online. It's the middle part of the wiring diagram that says to wire Black+Swc Ground to Black/Red * 69 and White * Analog1 to Yellow/Black * 53. Any help would be really appreciated. I've contacted PAC and Crutchfield. After talking to PAC I was told that that diagram provided through the web based tool was wrong and they helped me identify the wires. So today, using a multimeter, I probed the lines I was told were the ones and pushed my steering wheel buttons and I didn't get anything to change on my multi-meter. So I'm back to where I started. Any help would be really appreciated.

    If flashing the cp2 from the pc and remapping buttons, do you still need to set any switches? Thanks!

    • @StingerDealer
      @StingerDealer  6 років тому

      Yes, when flashing the SWI-CP2 from a PC and remapping the buttons, the DIP switches will all need to be down.

      @StingerDealer  6 років тому

      Hello, The steering wheel interface can be manually programed to retain features you would like your steering wheel to perform with an aftermarket radio with Android features. Check out the manual for instruction on how to manually program those features. If you need any help with the programing, you can reach out to our Tech Support team 866-931-8021.

      @StingerDealer  6 років тому

      A mic should not be effected by the installation of a steering wheel control module. If you need assistance, please see your local PAC dealer.

    "the best and fastest" if you are lucky enough to receive a working Chinese device SWI-CP2. Was "lucky enough" to have one such device - a compete failure since it was first connected to a PC!

      Thanks Allen, I almost did buy this from sears but they appeared to be out of stock at the time I ordered.
      Sears is worth considering when shopping around for anything.
      I did wind up buying this for $69.95 on ebay. That price included free shipping. It does work correctly and was easy to set up. The buttons on my 2013 F150 all work except for the phone answer/hang-up button but I need to see if I can program that button to work.
