Bad movies are one thing; but a bad comedy is an entirely different beast. Most movies are bad because they fail to get a reaction from their audience, be it sympathy, fear, joy, righteousness, etc. It's usually boredom, but sometimes they can get the opposite reaction if it's incompetent enough. "The Room" wants you to sympathize with Johnny's failing relationship, but it fails because the writing is terrible and the lead's acting is horrible. "Birdemic" wants to shock and terrify you, but fails because the effects are laughable, the acting is incredibly stiff, the sound-design is non-existent, and the environmentalism is so ham-fisted. A bad comedy is another matter, entirely. A comedy-movie's intent is to make the audience laugh through jokes and gags. What happens when the jokes and gags aren't funny? At best, forced-chuckles; at worst, groans of disgust. Bad comedies are the equivalent of watching someone bomb at stand-up.

Martins face at 42.00 is how imagine his face being watching the entire movie lol
Do you find this better or worse than masters of disguise? Equally they both awful but if you had to watch one over the other which would you choose
Master of disguise is more tolerable even as a kid I just couldn't make it through love guru.
This is one of their best spill reviews
Billy and Korey's laugh's makes the videos better.
25:25 bruh 😂 why is that guy with the glasses eyes like that. That brother is tweaking
The previews for Love Guru were actually painful to watch, and those are supposed to represent the best of a movie. Sorry Korey had to suffer through this twice (DAMN!!!), but that’s on him. Could see this stinker coming from a mile away and around the corner. Masterful, long overdue and well deserved roast though. Keep em’ coming.
Same. I Saw them and I said No Thanks, No Love Guru for me.
Ok, but the Ben Kingsley fart... I died. I think it might have been real.
actually saw this film in the cinema when it first came out..... this made me realize how far Mike Myers has fallen
I really want to see you guys review The Wash. Its like Friday's cousin that nobody talks about.
Yes please review The Wash. lol
This is the movie that got me involved with Spill! I still remember Co-Host saying shit in an Indian accent. That killed me
I’m in desperate need of of an Austin Powers 4 or Shrek 5 to get over this movie. I even saw The Love Guru in theaters when it first came out.
This and Cat in the Hat destroyed his career as lead actor although he has got some notable supporting roles like in Bohemian Rhapsody
Pretty much, his lead roles in LA films ended (he had one more animated Shrek film left) and he was relegated to background/minor/support character status ever since.
I laughed so hard watching your video especially during the mop scene. Watching you guys lose your minds omg 🤣
I remember them reviewing this on spill they started saying Fuck Mike Myers and had to do another review, this would be the third review.
13:58 Oh shit, I thought at first that was Bob Saget.....
39:38 looks like the singer from disturbed.
By the time the third Austin Powers movie came out, I had this feeling that Mike Myers had run out of funny. I tried to watch The Love Guru with an open mind but there was a lot of groaning at how far the funny had disappeared in him.
Apparently the DVD has deleted scenes with a character named Suchabignobba
Let say this. If I ever find myself as a POW and my captors are torturing with all kinds of painful methods,. I won't tell them any secrets, however if they make me watch this film, I will TELL THEM ALL.
The Mariska Hargitay to Mariska Hargitay does get me 😂😂😂
Damn, DT is going to have to implement the "Cringe Meter" in their reviews. Lol
Yep 13 years later, Korey is revisiting this at Double Toasted but with this time Martin Thomas and Billy Brooks instead of The Co-Host 3000 (voiced by Tony Guerrero).
I love these bad movie roasts
They’re good
Me too
Billies chuckle after Corey said he was paranoid had me cracking up...fuck whenever Billy laughs with that loud as laugh has me craxking up.
Do wild hogs next!!
hey, y'all talking about how the other celebrities were wronged by being in the movie... don't forget that celebrities are as greedy as any politician, if it pays... they will appear.
“ not mr. rock yo body “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember when this movie came out and even at the time I thought it was bad. But i forgot just how bad it was
Corey forgot to mention You Don't Mess With the Zohan as a favorite.
I was just looking for this and got the noti...
Wild.
I can’t believe that this and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan came out only 2 weeks apart, what a weird ass time for movies
2008 was a cursed year for comedy.
@@EliDEVITTSpeaks what’s crazy is that you know what came out in the week between? THE HAPPENING, good lord it’s like they were trying to see who could make the worst movie
@@EliDEVITTSpeaks You're not wrong, but I believe that Tropic Thunder is the only exception.
@@claycrawford7 Honestly, The Happening is just unintentionally funny if you don't take the plot seriously.
@@michaelstrong5383 Yeah I just meant sheer coincidence of that many bad movies headlining in a row is crazy. Also yes, Tropic Thunder is so sick
41:20 I'm in tears, lmao
This movie and Year One are the only ones I've ever walked out of.
I cannot believe i am saying this, but mike myers in the early 2003 or whenever THE LIVE ACTION CAT IN THE HAT WAS MADE,.. Had better jokes.😅😂.
Korey:These people are force to laugh at Mike Myers jokes
Me:There also the best actors in the movie
I had that same kind of experience in a movie theater at Oliver Stone’s SAVAGES
I was actually cursing out-loud at how awful that movie was.
