Good video! Just wondering if you’ve got a video on how to remove Honda CRV 2013 fuel tank, got a leak coming from the fuel feed pipe, but need to remove the tank, any help would be much appreciated.
Hey Hu I have a crv and I do my own work on it. I’m a gal and I’ve always worked with little things in my cars. I used to have to do the rotor cap, wires and points back in the 80s LOL. Now Just the easy stuff like valves, MAF, plugs and wires etc… anyway, what’s valves, canisters and others should i do? I got the car at 120,000 miles. About three years ago and I have 149k on it now and it runs really good but I don’t know if anything‘s ever been changed out on that car besides the regular oil change and stuff like that. Any ideas of what I could clean out or change in it?
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma just want to do the little things that might not have been done. No codes but I replaced the pcv valve and it was bad! Better gas mileage now. Just small valves etc that Can do? Maf is done.
I have a P1457. I believe it's actually the pressure sensor. Was not the gas cap or canister/valve, hoses look fine as well. Not sure where the sensor is or part number and having a hard time finding any info on it. Any idea?
What about p0141 and p0135? Can you help with these two? I should add as a note that my catalytic converter was stolen with the sensors to go with it and so this might be that problem.. Also with my 2004 CRV I have replaced the gas cap on it and this code popped up again but it's basically brand new.
These 2 codes are related to o2 sensor. If your cat is stolen, you must put oem cat or aftermarket but with oe number on the cat, who is legal for the state emission. If you buy cheap cat and has no oe numbers, you can not clear these 2 codes. And make sure you buy the right o2 sensor.
I changed my gas cap same code pops up from time to time. Check engine came up yesterday this time it was cylinder misfire code. Is there a correlation. Brother checked out my car and said the cylinders arent misfiring at all.
Evap and misfiring is two dif problems. Not the same. Japanese car, MUST use oem part for evap system. Sometime you can get away with aftermarket part.

Both codes pretty much the same, you just have to pin down the problem. P0456 and 57 - possible causes bad gas cap, bad purge valve, bad vent valve or gas vapor line.
Same thing as purge valve??? Thanks for this only video I can find the actual location of this thanks a bunch
Thanks for this! I've been trying to locate that valve for weeks now! Thought it was on top of the tank! LOL

Do you have the same code? What are you trying to do?

Just drop the bracket for the evap stuff, no need to fiddle around in a cramped space. Unless it's rusted...
I have the evap leak code buy everything runs fine what issues will this code cause?

Hows the dorman holding up? Did the check engine come back?
Doesnt come back but I recommend using oem part. Oem always better. Customer is cheap doesnt want to pay for oem.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma if the light doest come back that means dorman is doin its job right?
@@Mrfree1 yes
I Have the same car. I'm having the same issue and not sure on what to do . I checked the fuel cap but its fine and no cracks .
I recomend you take it to a mechanic shop to fix it. If you don't know what to do.
