I used to live in Portland. It was a beautiful city, Until all the homeless camps showed up, and all the crime... Not to mention, they really seem to hate cars. Allover the city they are taking away traffic lanes from cars and giving them to bicycles!
I love your videos. When I see one pop up here on UA-cam. I immediately watch it. So peaceful and so well done. I lived in Portland for 10 years. I truely loved that city and Oregon. Sadly Portland became something I could not live with. To survive I left but I do miss it. Just not what it has become. Please be safe walking around at night with that camera.
cause this was during all the protest and riots in portland in 2020 almost all summer and fall long.. it was one of the top 3 or 4 cities in the country that had these going on every night, it eventually faded away, but they had issues with antifa and others just out there breaking shit,
The sketchiest area at night is probably Old Town/Chinatown. I don't feel like its that bad like your life is in danger just from walking through there but it is probably the most likely place where something would happen
A lot safer than the news portrays. Portland is still rather safe, especially compared to other big cities. If there is something going on like a protest, which aren't really happening anymore, I'd stay away... but I'd stay away in any city. It's too unpredictable and why get caught up in it.
I noticed those crappy 'green' bike points at intersections. Where I live the bikers -had- a clue of being careful. Now, with those, we've more bikers being hit because they assume they're invincible now and can even go through red lights. Idiots
Gosh, so many board-up business in downtown Portland, a sad scene of the riot aftermath, almost ruined it during pandemic time. The whole city is like ghost town except the city lights.....This video is like a sad poem tribute to a once beautiful and peaceful city......making me feel so depressed.
I find Portland a beautiful place, I really love that city
i live here. it's a shthole
@@justincrockett2611 and this video was around the time of all the riots and protesting

Is this Portland Maine, or is it Portland, Oregon?
What about the date and the time of the clock , and also what about the 60 fps , also what about the temperature of the weather
Would you like them to timestamp everything for you???It’s supposed to be a relaxing stroll, not a militant job to do
How many days a year does it rain in Portland?
Over 400
