I am loving this podcast so much! I binge watched FNL in 2020 when we all were stuck at home and have been waiting for something like this to come around! Also love the dynamic with Zach and Mae being the bickering siblings and Scott trying to be the dad keeping them on track with the episode.
This dynamic is incredible. This podcast is already amazing. Can't wait for more! Also, all three of you need to be in some road trip movie. Each of you are just hilarious

I have watched every episode of this show at least 3 or 4 times, and after listening to this, I am watching the pilot again tonight! My life is in a better place when I am watching this show and it's been a while!
Coach Taylor, at the end, speaks to the viewers as a narrator, even though there isn't a narrator for that show, he is the "Everyone goes to (dad) guy for help".That's how the audience feels. They feel like they have somebody to trust on, someone that says "Everything will be okay, just do what you've got to do". He is the show, He's there every single episode, trying to make his best in order to make the right decisions, with his wife's helping him because, alone? Coach Taylor is a bit of a mess, but with his wife who completes him and gives him the wisdom to make the best decision for each kid and eventually Coach sees it as she meant it, that's what gives him the strength to be what his is, what Tami says about him: "He has a great ability to take a kid, get him out on the football field and inspire them and empower them, and then that transfers over into their lives at school and in every way..." in a nutshells, that's what Coach does here in the end. Seriously, I know I'm only on season 3 here but bring Kyle Chandler to one of your pods, try and figure out how to make him open Twitter or something ;), Cheers from Israel.
I went to James Madison High School where David Edwards went. That was a few years before me but he continues to be remember by the school and the district year after year. Very special to know that this show is because of his story!
I saw Kyle's interview talking about the pilot, the scene when he sees Scott in hospital bed for the first time. When the camera rolls thats was the first time he actually saw Scott in bed and he felt stricken, for a moment he felt he is looking at a real injury. FNL was very inventive how they used make up, everybody looks very natural, sweaty with messed up hair, etc, making everything look very authentic.
I was and still obsessed with FNL watch entire series at least 5 times. Still find little things I missed before. Love coach, tami, Riggins, Matt, Landry or Lance. Love how coach always got his name wrong. And Matt and grandma!!! All of them. But loving this podcast. Mae you were great in parenthood! And of course Scott!! Amazing!!

My husband and I have been rewatching FML for the last few weeks and love it better than when it first came out. It is a truly fantastic and realistic saga. Love it! Girls who wave their arms around are a bit much so I hope this young lady drops her wings.
Dude im a 6 7 225 man but ill hinestly say scences like jasonand the paramedics made me cry the second time watching it first time thru i was on the edge of my seat season 1 thru 5 secind time thru was smiles and tears 3rd thru 5th time i caught myself allthe time rooting for diffent outcomes even tho i already know it so well❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
