KW has a ton of potential. 593,000 in the metro area in 2020. I guess there are 2 downtowns but both are pint sized for such a populous metro. It's growing quickly so it will get there eventually. There could easily be 1 million here in 25 years.

Yes, the population of the Tri-Cities or KWC (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge) is certainly growing fast. 3 downtowns for 593,000. But if you ask anyone from Cambridge, they would say Cambridge itself has 3 downtowns (Galt, Preston, Hespeler), so theoretically you could say KWC has 5 downtowns. You're right, the expected population projection is 923,000 by 2051 for Waterloo Region. Cheers!

Wow ! It sure looks better than when i was last there in 1993 ! Even has some taller buildings now. Keep up the good work! How about London ON sometime?

It is always a balancing act between densification vs urban sprawl. Hopefully with better public transit (i.e. Ion LRT), there will be a balanced densification while allowing more parkland to remain so. Cheers!
