My college years (1996-2000) were pretty much bookmarked by the popularity of DMB; Under the Table to Before These Crowded Streets. I still regard those early albums as their best. There was nothing else really quite like it back then.
Only heard this song live version, thanks, one of those songs that sticks like glue.. Because in the end it all piles up to one big nothing at all.. Just gets to show that it all comes down to nothing. That's another song.
I must be the last person on earth who figured out that the cover is a stereoscopic image of a hand giving a peace sign. I've been listening all these years without even giving it a 2nd thought.
I am for sure. Wow. I have been a fan for 25yrs and just found out reading your post. I am by far the thickest of block heads. I just thought it was static. I actually laughed when I focused right and saw it. I will retire now to my corner and apply a dunce cap large enough to cover my whole head.
ok honestly... was a HUGE fan - multiple concert goings n all, listened to this song a gazillion times and this CD cover was a permanent fixture on my nightstand..... HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THIS ALSO?!?! LIKE WOOOOOW!!! #RealMvp @AnthonyRyan
How did you get this version? I just discovered Dave Matthews Band and I'm truly amazed. I couldn't find this in any streaming service, so I'm thinking about getting the CD if this is on it. Thank you very much for uploading this!
This version here is the so called Live version on Remember Two Things, which is available on streaming for me in Canada. DMB's great isn't it? I'm a newer fan as well (Only been a fan a year or so), but they truly cease to amaze me. There's truly not many other bands like them; Jam bands definitely do tend to have range, but their darker songs like this one are unparalleled in the Jam world. I'm seeing them live this summer for the first time, and I'm super excited! I don't know what was your gateway to them, but listen to Central Park if you haven't - truly majestic stuff.
@@tysonhenry9438 That's a pretty good way to describe it. When I showed my Dad dmb for the first time, he mentioned that Dave's voice is really similar to Eddie's, and I can't say he's wrong. The central park concert I mentioned has a few long jams (10+ minutes) as the dead did many a time.
If at all God's gaze upon us fall, a mischievous grin.
You're welcome. I noticed that no one else uploaded the studio version, so I just decided to share it.
I
Mm
Thank you! I'm a recent member to the Dave family.
@@Sean-wp7st You’ve a lot to hear young padawan, enjoy!
