i collected new waveish 45s like the late 80s through the whole 90s and went to record shows a lot, i got the Seona Dancing 45s around 91. had no idea who Ricky was for another good 20 years but liked the singles.
I knew he could sing and was part of that 80's group but this perfomance was outstanding, would love to hear him write a real album with zero comedy, I am sure he would never try and he would get ripped apart by critics but the results I think would be interesting, imagine if it was half good, script writer, stand up comedian, actor, singer and songwriter!
