Loving the narration! I don't think we remember WW1 in such a trivial manner at all; for most of us, or so I'd like to think, even a century later, it is still the symbol of the biggest clusterfuck of idiotism to have ever happened on our lands in Europe. At least WW2 had a clear-cut villain and we can safely compartmentalize it.
