I must admit the narrator has improved vastly by this chapter. His annoying swallowing, slurping and slushy speech during the first chapters has diminished. I’m so glad I persevered throughout the first chapters.
I don’t think you should admit any such thing, Susie. The narrator’s filthy mannerisms are enough to put anyone off listening for another second. Thank heavens you noticed and pointed it out
