In case you’re still taking requests.. Middlemarch by George Eliot is on my reading list and I haven’t yet found an audio version that I like.
Second suggestion after ‘The Goldfinch”: A little life.’ A horrible audiobook was made of it. Your mellifluous voice is needed for that novel.

Definitely go for vulgar and less intellectual! I've been hooked on this and wondering why in school we studied The Grapes of Wrath when this is so much more gripping. I'm guessing lengthy and could have warped our minds!
