My worst college experience was one time I was late for an important math exam, I run as fast as possible, but I sliped and opened my forehead. Long story short I did my exam with a concussion and trying to stop the blood because the teacher didn't want to reprogram my exam. Love your videos Jaiden
I was told by my professor that important information would be given in class. So I was riding there on my bike and rain got in my eyes. I almost hit a girl and had to fall over to avoid her. I scraped up my hands badly. I went to the class and used pieces of notebook paper to clean the blood off my hands. The class ended up not being very important. When I went back to my dorm, my room mate and his girlfriend were in bed together, but I had to go in anyway to get into the bathroom connected to our room (every two rooms shared a bathroom) and wash my hands to clean and bandage them.

Watching an old Jaiden video feels so different from modern Jaiden videos.

Tidying up and not knowing where you left something. I know that feeling.
I live in a "training home", I'd describe it as college dorms but for the purpose of training you to live on your own. We have some adults that work in this building and their job is to help us get independent. Each week when I have to tidy up my room, they would tell me to also organize the closets I have etc. But I always tell them that it's organized chaos. Maybe I should show them this video in the hopes that they will understand why I keep refusing to organize my closets.
Anyway, I never had that issue where I had to rush to get an assignment done.
... I was almost always late. Very late.
Though I do remember one time for history in high school. We had to basically write about an event in the past that we were taught about. Or that was related to something we learned about. I don't remember how the assignment was phrased.
Point is, I was interested in ancient Egypt. So I took the moment where... That one dude I don't remember discovered Tutankhamen's (idk what it is in English, but in Dutch it's often written as Tutanchamon. Or at least, I think that's how it's spelled) grave. And more importantly, the Pharaohs curse and the death of that dude I still don't remember the name of.
Because the thing is, we had to write it from the perspective of the person in that moment. So I was basically writing diary style how a person experienced his last living moments as a result of the Pharaohs curse.
It was the evening before it was due. I was working on it till late at night. I went to bed directly after. I. Had. Nightmares. Of. Being. Haunted. By. A. Pharaoh.
And I didn't learn my lesson because I still finished assignments last minute or very overdue.
... I eventually dropped out of high school the day I turned 18.
I don't regret dropping out, since it was clear I wouldn't graduate. And it lead me to where I am now. I have unpaid "work" in 3d and 2d design. 3d printers, fusion 360, cura, krita, even a freaking lasercutter are things I have access to at work. And much more. Since I started there a few years ago, I have gotten much better at art, especially 2d for some reason. Animation is something I still want to learn, as well as photoshopping, but I have grown and learned much more than what school could've given me if I stayed there. Especially considering that high school was taking a big toll on my health, both physically and mentally.
Now that I think about it, are there any animation programs you would recommend for beginners? Easy to use and preferably for free? I've been wanting to make videos similar to yours for a while now, but I don't want to show my face and such while doing so. I'm self conscious about my appearance 😅
I know I can just use random pictures from the internet, but I want to use animation instead. Aaaaaand I also just wanna make animation videos 😅

Having been the university teacher I can relate to the teacher somewhat. The stress is equal for us, grading and hading out feedback on time so that the students will get as much out of the assignment as possible. So every little delay messes with the schedule of everything needs to be done.

This is the first video of Jaiden I ever watched. ^^ I remember I was having a hard time when I was in college and I just needed to watch someone else's college struggles so I'd feel less miserable and voila not only did I feel less lonely but I was so entertained and has been a fan ever since. ^^ ⌛💖
What I've learned from college is if it's an assignment that's due soon always put it on you desk or in your class binder. You can reorganize your self to the moon as long as you keep your assignments in a familiar, easy to access location. Also when it comes to doing projects in Adobe programs please allow yourself at least one day because technology is unpredictable and you never know how long a project will take. I may not be in specifically an art college but art still takes up the majority of my time so I understand how stressful and hard it can be at times. By the way love your video's.

Omg I can feel the stress all over again! I did music for my degree and I remember having deadlines for 10pm, which was also the time the music office - where they were to be submitted - closed. It was always super stressful printing things off and absolutely PEGGING it up two flights of stairs to submit it at 21:58. Because if you didn't the office wouldn't stamp it as on time and you'd instantly get your grade capped at 40%..which is the minimum mark for a pass.
Somehow the online submissions were also just as stressful.
Watching this knowing that I'm going to college next year. 😧

Reorganizing and that way losing stuff is a pretty common process for me. And that's why my room looks like a total mess to someone not familiar with how I organize my stuff, but I always know that my cables and battery voltage meter are in the little drawer behind the iMac and my screwdriver set is on top of the extra thingy on top of my desk (a thing you put on the desk which gives you drawers and little compartments to put stuff).
At uni all of our submissions were online. It's better in some ways, but if you were 1 second late it's not being marked unless you'd already arranged a mitigating circumstances claim

Printing is always the worst, for some reason the college I went to thought it was a good idea to made the SAME deadline for EVERY SUBJECT so you can imagine the lack of paper, free computers etc. a sad time for all XD
