You could also have a Equip system for Items like Whips, Hookshot or even Gust bellows. The first could get a hammer head or Sickle to make a ball and chain or Chain-sickle. The hook shot could get anything from the standart arrow like point, that only lodges into wood at first, to the grapple for grates, ladders, vines, fur, branches and poles to very hard hook that even pierces and lodges itself into stonewalls. The gust bellows could work like the Poltergust or be filled with stuff like Bombs, special arrows or even offensive chemicals/poisons you could "cook"/concoct. It also should be possible to make dungeons like past titles, where you can find different items beyond the starting area. Introduce Minibosses with these Item which appear frequently after their first appearance.
Now that I think about it, the technology in BotW was super high tech, so why not make an entire game in a hyper futuristic setting? Like, without as much ruined landscape.
I'd personally love a BoTW sequel where you build up Hyrule to its former glory again. Gathering items for rebuilding from the overworld as well as... TEMPLES, bringing back the Temples with the story that the rebuilding project woke up massive beasts in our good ol' Temples. The temples would be a great source for materials, and the bosses would drop unique loot for rebuilding (and mayhaps special weapons, unique to every boss) You would not be saving or helping Zelda in it, she'll be in the game overseeing the rebuilding project, interact with Link, maybe even help him as a companion on his adventure this time around. After seeing Hyrule in ruins, I'd just love to see it going back to its former glory bit by bit while also hearing our beloved music come back together bit by bit. Basically much like that one town/village in BoTW but on a massive scale.
I’ve been fantasizing about something like this for a year now. Regardless, can’t wait to see what the Zelda team comes up with, whenever we get to see it
It needs a villain or some form of narrative conflict dude. Otherwise it's just a building simulator. I'd rather the developers do all that for us, then throw us in a non-dystopian version of the map, and give us a classic hero's adventure like every other Zelda game.
Yes please. If I can't swing around like spiderman with real rope physics with an updated hookshot then by god I don't want any part of it! I won't buy it. But everybody else will buy it. I'll buy it anyway
@@DaWoWzer Exactly. It would largely defeat one of the core mechanics of the game and I've thought since I first played it, when I didn't really know anything about it, that there was no way it would have a hookshot after seeing how climbing worked.
If the next Zelda isn't called "Breath of the Wilderer" as in the thumbnail, I ain't buyin' Bah who am I kidding, its Zelda. I'd buy it if it was called "The Legend of Zelda: Literally The Worst Game Ever"
Well actually, the Iliad was the precursor, so unless it's a prequel, we'd be looking at a Super Mario Aeneid, the actual intact poem that succeeded the Odyssey... Am I annoying you yet?
@@demigodgamer8517 The Aneid is just the Roman version of the Iliad and the Odyssey. It's like one is a game on Playstation and the other is a game on xbox.
If Zelda and Link went on a Adventure together they could finally give us a playable Zelda. I would love another DLC for Breath of the Wild, with Link needing a special item to help rebuild Hyrule after the war.
I remember the gameplay sections in Spirit Tracks where you had to switch between link and a Zelda possessed armour in order to traverse the dungeon. Or a similar mechanic in Wind Waker in the 2 dungeons of the latter half of the game. I would absolutely ADORE to see Link and Zelda working together translated into gameplay!
I really hope there are much bigger and better towns and dungeons for botw 2 and with odyssey all I want is a proper spooky kingdom and a playable Luigi.
THEY DID IT, ARLO, THEY DID IT!!!!!! THE MADLADS ACTUALLY FREAKING DID IT!!!!!!!!!! :-D I legitimately teared up when they announced it was a sequel, and not a DLC. We are all truly blessed.
Considering we haven’t had any Odyssey DLC yet, and the timeframe for that has well and truly passed, an Odyssey sequel seems very likely. Unless they go NSLU and release a half-DLC half-new game.
Mario Galaxy 2 was born out of what was essentially going to be Galaxy 1 DLC. I wouldn't be shocked if any Odyssey DLC was being turned into an Odyssey 2.
Playing Breath of the Wild for the first time was a truly amazing experience for me. I really hope Nintendo might be able to recreate some of that excitement and wonder with a sequel.
Some Rune ideas for BotW *Grapple Rune:* Functions like a Hookshot but you can set what object gets pulled towards what other object. Combine with Stasis, and the two objects are *linked* together and will gain the same amount of power when either is hit. Upgraded form gives you increased distance like the Longshot. *Gust Rune:* Takes the place of the Korok Leaf and functions similarly, but instead blows constantly (Limits like stamina) Imagine a puzzle where you have to blow a bomb underneath a gap in a wall and you can't throw it through normally. *Illumination Rune:* Replaces the Torch, and lets you place a light source wherever you want. Upgraded lets you place multiple. Can be used to light up dark areas and in Light based puzzles. *Combat Rune:* Maybe not a rune, but an equip-able item that acts like the Timing Tutor from TTYD, You deal less damage or don't get any drops from monsters but it will give you a heads up of when you can flurry rush/parry an attack. *??? Rune:* I can't think of a name, but a better version of the Cryosis Rune. Let's you freeze Lava to make flat platforms that sink after awhile. Make pillars of sand like the sand rod, they can't be climbed but launch things upward. Lemme know if you like these/have your own ideas.
@@opalfps Ehhh... they should just get Koizumi involved, he'd make it macabre and unsettling like MM. IMO, he'd probably make the first competent story Zelda's had since WW.
They actually reused the Wind Waker engine for Twilight Princess. However they scrapped almost everything they had for Wind Waker, refined the engine, and rebuilt the game, and thats why it took 4 years.
Premise for a BotW sequel: Zelda gets to work on research about breaking the cycle of Ganon. Link is her guard again, and while the main story has them both traveling around to find out what they can do, Link is given a lot of leeway in figuring out how to get certain items or reaching certain places. Zelda provides some semblance of direction, but it's really Link who plays in the open sandbox to figure everything out (this includes messing around with side content like in BotW). Partway into their quest, they find out that Ganon is being brought back ahead of time by something the Yiga Clan are doing. Etc
Premise for a BotW sequel: Ganondorf is released from underground and his malice spreads abundantly, where the world is corrupted by malice and Ganondorf reigns supreme. Can Link AND Zelda stop him?
Ziggy Schröder they could add in dlc to odyssey that gives us Mario 64 at Peach’s Castle but, changes things up to add onto cappy and Mario’s abilities
Linus Hohmeyer they did give us some free dlc with balloon world and the outfits but a lot of people expected like a paid pack of kingdoms or something to that effect

Just know Return to the lands the film is a difficult film to understand by many, since it has deep plots, themes in it. And has some mysterious things with some of the characters!. I hope you can really enjoy it!. Go check it out!. "

@@andrewkentner4731 You don't know this. And don't pretend that you do. The Links awakening remake takes away all possibility of the next Zelda being announced this year.
soundfounder1 You misunderstand my friend, I am speaking of Arlos theory that only ever other 3-D Mario game has Yoshi: for example Mario Galaxy not having him, and the. Mario galaxy 2 having him (playable of course)
The Rallycore I just imagined link and gannondorf with cowboy outfits and 6 shooters, waiting for noon, and when noon comes link and gannondorf both shoot and gannondorf dies
Agreed. I always felt like BOTW felt like the second half of a 2 act game. (Like if in Ocarina of Time the game starts out with you becoming an adult at the Temple of Time. I want to play the first act damnit!!!!! *shakes fists at the sky bitterly*
@@epochthekid I was thinking a game where you go outside of Hyrule would be cool. Like Zelda needs something to rebuild Hyrule(maybe something to bring back the guardians so they can help rebuild). And soyou can explore someplace else. with new areas learn interesting stories and go on a new adventure on an unknown land.
Nogas Kilah Honestly that seems more likely. Most likely though it will be a game using the ingenious open world template but with it's own time frame and story. Like most of the Legend of Zelda games.
NEW Super The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild, Wilder 2 64 U Deluxe with new Funky Mode, Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series Ultra Turbo Collector's edition & Knuckles
Honestly, the fact that Nintendo has said themselves that The Legend of Zelda is their storytelling series makes me so happy and excited for future Zelda games.
It makes a lot of sense actually from where the story telling of imagination came from that made Zedla on the NES to begin with and Mario is just a platforming/sandbox world(s) with whacky world designs. Hell to yeah is what I say
I'm so on board with returning to terminate....didn't like it only being 3 days tho.... hopefully we get more of something like that without needing to rewind time
Amen brother. Frankly I would kill for BOTW 2 to have underwater accessibility along the lines of TP, MM, and not Wind Waker. If not that then maybe they could have a type of cave system in it's open world such as skyrim or maybe dark souls. In addition I want traditional dungeons, albeit it would be difficult to have linear dungeon design with such a free engine that botw has. Perhaps they could limit Link's movement options in these dungeon with the explanation of some curse placed on him or something.
as much as i love majoras mask i have to disagree here that game was rushed and didnt have nearly as much content as ocarina if my memory is correct for exampe you got about half the dungeons in mask then ocarina has id love a a new game of about equal size or bigger
Dumb idea I'd like to see for a _Breath of the Wild_ "sequel" is a spinoff title that is kinda like Animal Crossing where you are basically trying to reestablish Hyrule after the events of _Breath of the Wild._ You play as a custom Hylian as an assistant to Link and Zelda to rebuild Castle Town, Hyrule Castle, and recruiting a new royal guard. Though there will also be some run-ins with the Yiga Clan. When it comes to combat, you play as Link. I got this idea from a lesser-known game known as "Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers," the third "Dillon's Rolling Western" title; in _Dead-Heat Breakers,_ you play as an animal made with your Mii for town-related tasks, and then you play as Dillon when you're out on a mission. But what I really want the most is to see the relationship between Link and Zelda flourish. I haven't seen cute Link-and-Zelda stuff since _Spirit Tracks_ so... I think we're overdue
11:10 "I'm not gonna go too deep into what we could potentially see in sequels to BOTW and Odyssey because that could be a whole series of videos" Do the series!
Honestly I was expecting DLC for Mario Odyssee. Like 3 new kingdoms with 90 new moons or something. I fully expected a cameo of Delfino Island. I'd still be down for substential DLC for both BotW and Odyssee. The DLC for BotW was a bit lacking in my opinion.
A Zelda sequel is simple: like you said, same mechanics, art style, etc...but it’s the battle against Ganon where you died 100 years prior, where you help the villagers, but fail, and fail, and fail....all the ruins we saw in BotW are stable, but they slowly deteriorate as the Guardians take over. You discover the Divine Beasts which is great, but you can not defeat Ganon. It’s different, like Majorca’s mask. Or, like you said, a sequel
Lucian Baker but think about how revolutionary that would be. You. Don’t. Win. In this age of entitlement and everyone gets a trophy, let’s take it away from you so you actually grow and learn to ACCEPT FAILURE. I’d buy it
Molten Electricity I wish I could say the Same thing, it was very disappointing to me to be honest. I was expecting more levels and a more rewarding quest on finding moons. They became trivial so quickly and you just needed a few to move on to the next level. I think M64 is still loads better Edit: I’m also really missing a nice hubworld to connect the dots.
I'm glad to see people are starting to be more vocal about how great the Pac Man World games were (2, in particular). I've actually been thinking they should release a Pac Man World trilogy HD remake. I never played the first one, and I never beat the third one, so it'd be cool to get the opportunity to play all three on the switch. But a new 3D Pac Man could be even more awesome than that if they did it right.
"I'm here to talk about two thing that I don't want" Me: *DISLIKE* "I'm talking about two things that the WORLD needs" Me: *undo dislike and put like instead*
Crazy idea for a BOTW 2. Ganon is evil (and had the Power Triforce), and Zelda had the Wisdom Triforce. We never saw Link with his Courage Triforce in BOTW, which made me think he doesn't have it. So he'll get super sick after fighting Calamity Ganon, and now we play as ZELDA to has to find the Courage Triforce to save Link! (Oh, and if Zelda's blood is spilled, Ganon will come back or sumthin...)
If Nintendo decides to move forward with these game design formulas then they to take precedence with what made their past game designs so great in the first place. I felt like while Breath of the Wild was a really interesting turn for the series, it really lost a lot of it's personality and game design as a Zelda game as a consequence. Super Mario Odyssey on the surface looks like a return to form from late 90's platformers, but you can clearly see the simplicity of the game's design when you dig deeper. The game has a ton of repetition that no other 3D Mario title has. A lot of moons in the game don't even feel rewarding to collect, they're just kind of there. They need to look at their past work and implement the best parts of their old designs with the best parts of their new designs I will probably catch flak for this, but it's coming from concern. I am concerned for the future of these staple IPs in the game industry. Joseph Anderson explains this much better than i do in his Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey reviews.
Perhaps, perhaps not, but I feel that youtuber tends to be negative for the sake of being negative. I mean, perhaps he's right, but I just don't notice it because i'm having so much fun. I know another video that seems (in my opinion) way better than that one and it's way shorter. I believe the changes were for the better, because Zelda and Mario, while good at their job, they were very repetitive by now and couldn't appreciate them anymore. Again, my opinion. I'll give you the link when i find the video
BotW isn't a Zelda game, it's something else wearing Zelda clothes. It is a great game, but I would agree with you that I hope they don't move past the old Zelda and make them all like Botw. Personally, I'd want a Zelda with a deep story, plenty of side quests, with an open world and massive dungeons (like if OoT was as big as it felt at the time, and didn't lock off everything that wasn't immediately important). I'd hope they would make the 3 weapon types available, or more possibly, and bring back enemies like Stalfos and Darknuts. Tbh I'd also like some kind of romance options or something, but that's pretty unlikely. If they stuck with BotW's formula tho, I'd hope that they make it a little less about picking up a huge quantity of stuff and just make it so that there were different things to find. For instance, instead of running and just pressing a to pick up a dozen apples, I'd like something like finding a rare plant and picking it from the root. I'd probably like a cookbook for specific dishes and also possibly some kind of armor progression. Keeping with that idea, of keeping the inventory but not that scavenging everything mentality, the breaking mechanic would be fine for weapons you find laying around and against enemies, but if you got permanent ones as well (pertaining to the story, probably) that would be nice. Like, a flamesword or bobo club would be expendable, but Mipha's spear would be unbreakable (or, saying, a training sword you get at the beginning of the game). They would probably keep the shrine mechanic, but hopefully add better dungeons, and sidequests with subplots and not just more shrines. It would still be BotW, but just a bit closer to the Zelda formula.
In defense for Mario Odyssey, I find Joseph's complaints with the whole "there's too many power moons to collect, therefore they don't feel rewarding to collect," is more of a personal complaint rather than an actual flaw of the game, because some people actually don't mind the more smaller objective based moons like kicking rocks, groundpounding an area, kicking rocks, catching rabbits, planting a seed etc. & finds them to be pretty harmless to collect. To some not every moons needs to be missioned based like the shine sprites in Sunshine or the stars in the Galaxy games. And yes the moons do often repeat the same tasks over & over again, but at the same, they do mix things up a bit in how you get those moons by doing the same tasks, like the game having you deal with different ways to stack the goombas, or having you deal with different hint arts in each kingdoms or vise versa. And honestly I find the stars in Mario 64 to be more repetitive to collect than the moons in Odyssey, especially since the stars always booted you out of the level everytime you get one. Take Tall Tall Mountain for example. Climb up the mountain to get the star, climb up the mountain to catch the monkey to get the star, climb up the mountain to get behind the waterfall to get the star, climb up the mountain to get to the secret slide etc. Not to say Odyssey is perfect, I'll admit there are some moons that I found were a waste of time like all the moons in the cloud/ruin kingdom, all the toadette achievements & the infamous coin feeding plant that's in the deep woods, but other than that, I find the majority of the moons to be pretty harmless to collect. But that's my overall two sense on Odyssey.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt iffy on Breath of the Wild's radical change of formula. It really does feel like it lost a lot of Zelda's old personality in favor of new age trends.
I don’t think anyone’s judging you. Spirit Tracks was WAAAY better than Phantom Hourglass, almost objectively so. You definitely didn’t miss out on anything amazing; PH was just average and the repeated dungeon was complete Trash!
I think a prequel to Breath of The Wild where you play through the events of the war from 100 years ago and fully get to see what happened would be pretty cool
Unpopular opinion: I don't want a Galaxy 3, I want to see an Odyssey 2 or another new sandbox collectathon 3D Mario game that has the same structure as Odyssey. After more than a *decade* of getting so many linear 3D Mario games, it's nice to finally get a sandbox collectathon 3D Mario game again in the form of Mario Odyssey & I would love to see another new sandbox collectathon 3D Mario game, whether it be an Odyssey 2 or a brand new 3D Mario game. I'll honestly be really disappointed if we go back to having linear 3D Mario games again in a form of Galaxy 3 or 3D World 2.
@Mojang Studios It is so an unpopular opinion. Just look through the comments. Most people in the comments are saying they want a Galaxy 3 instead of an Odyssey 2.
I don't think more 3D World stuff takes away from the BIG 3D marios but I definitely agree that Nintendo's next big 3D mario should lean into what Odyssey has established. The sandbox collectathon stuff is really nice. Personally if I were Nintendo, what I'd be looking at as Mario's "next steps" outside of stuff like Odyssey 2 would be reinventing 2D mario gameplay, because it's clear from U Deluxe that people are REALLY sick and tired of "New" Super Mario Bros.
Some more variety in enemies would fix one of the few problems I have with the game. The best part of the game was coming across some kind of monster I'd never seen before and then figuring out how to defeat it. Unfortunately about a quarter way through the game want coming across anything other than different coloured versions of monsters is already seen.
Son of Forgado the Destroyer I think E3 would be a perfect time to announce Mario and then release late 2020/ early 2021 (It will be over 3 years later at that point)
I want BoTW 2 to either be a prequel or a sequel, like where you get to play through and actually experience the memories, like being Zelda’s appointed knight and all that. Or a sequel where link is fully recovered from his amnesia and goes to another region, and then once you beat the game, you get to go to a very similar map to the first game, but everything is peaceful, ruins rebuilt, etc just to get another place to adventure and run around in. Afterwards you could still return to the other region though. The title could be Life of the wild or something like that.
I do like it in sequels when you eventually get to go back to the world from the previous game. Dragon Quest has done it before. Tales has done it. Hell, even Super Mario Odyssey basically did it with the Mushroom Kingdom. It's fun and exciting for the fans.
While it would be exiting to get a BOTW and/or Odyssey sequels this year, 2019 is already packed with anticipated releases that they’d be pushed back to at least 2020. That’s saying that these re-used asset sequels will even happen at all. Still a great video though!
I’d love a prequel for BOTW that further fleshes out the story in that game. What if we got to play through the memories in BOTW up until the events leading up to Link being sent to the chamber of resurrection?
Hamza Khairi I mean yeah! I’d still love a game like it though! It could be a darker themed game explaining in further detail how Hyrule and Link fell to Ganon! It could also be a way to get to know the characters in the game, such as the champions and Zelda more!
I could see a Zelda game built entirely around that Motorcycle rune from the DLC. >Termina in war, with more technology; boss fights where you race around on your motorcycle switching between bow and sword, jumping over Ikana canyon, dungeons where you have to creatively use the motorcycle, field minibosses and Lynel-like fights where the fight is designed around fighting on your motorcycle, Shrine-like minidungeonpuzzles using the motorcycle, riding across the wastelands between the warring Terminian factions ...etc
I would be way more hyped for a botw sequel Mario was good but at the same time it’s the same thing we’ve been getting for the last 20 years botw was unique and way more innovative
Eh, I dunno, "globetrotting" is a theme and it's one the game commits to decently enough. The fact that every map is laid out like a travel guide with trivia and so on, for example. (you can indeed make the argument that individual levels have different feelings, but did you SERIOUSLY feel like you were in space 24/7 in Galaxy, for example? Individual levels regularly break the theme in all the Mario games and there are several Mario games like 64 or 3D Land/World that don't have a theme at all) Also re. Mario Odyssey being similar, I appreciate the thought and actually agree that I'm more interested in a BotW sequel than an Odyssey sequel, what people have to realize is that Odyssey's objective was to reconnect with the exploration feelings as well as extremely tight platforming with a high skillcap that people loved in 64, which were both elements that Galaxy didn't have, and were both elements that Odyssey captured better than any other Mario game. Meanwhile BotW was for all intents and purposes an experimental reboot type of experience that *completely* broke Zelda back down to its base premises. The two games tried to accomplish different things and succeeded at it with flying colours.
I felt like Odyssey didn't break mold like BOTW did. Odyssey felt like another 3d Mario game. To this day, I still feel like Super Mario 64 is the best 3d Mario, as it's still fun to go back and play. I have no itch to play Super Mario Sunshine or Galaxy again. I think Odyssey is better than Galaxy and Sunshine though. But, I remember as a kid, having Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, and world, and all of them felt very different and unique and held their own, though the first game sometimes felt more dated and raw. I still don't believe SMB3 or SMW have been surpassed, they set the bar and never have they set it higher. BOTW on the other hand, moved the bar, for the first time since A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time (depending on your Zelda preferences, I liked the open nature of A Link to the Past, but the world building of OoT, we got in BOTW).
To be fair, Odyssey did tried to mixed things up a bit with the Mario formula & actually took risks on certain areas, like getting rid of 1-ups altogether, using coins as actual currency to buy costumes & item, getting rid of classic power ups in favor of the capture abilities & have Mario interact with realistic looking humans, t-rexes, dogs & have him fought a skyrim-like dragon, on top of giving the game its own vocal theme & not having the game take place in the same generic NSMB-esque aesthetics & artstyle that we've seen in the NSMB games, 3D Land & 3D World. To me Odyssey was the most ambitous Mario game we got since the original Mario Galaxy game back in 2007.

The temples would be a great source for materials, and the bosses would drop unique loot for rebuilding (and mayhaps special weapons, unique to every boss)
You would not be saving or helping Zelda in it, she'll be in the game overseeing the rebuilding project, interact with Link, maybe even help him as a companion on his adventure this time around.
After seeing Hyrule in ruins, I'd just love to see it going back to its former glory bit by bit while also hearing our beloved music come back together bit by bit.
Basically much like that one town/village in BoTW but on a massive scale.

If Zelda and Link went on a Adventure together they could finally give us a playable Zelda.

Some Rune ideas for BotW
*Grapple Rune:* Functions like a Hookshot but you can set what object gets pulled towards what other object.

Premise for a BotW sequel:
Zelda gets to work on research about breaking the cycle of Ganon.
Etc
Premise for a BotW sequel:
Ganondorf is released from underground and his malice spreads abundantly, where the world is corrupted by malice and Ganondorf reigns supreme. Can Link AND Zelda stop him?

Amen brother. Frankly I would kill for BOTW 2 to have underwater accessibility along the lines of TP, MM, and not Wind Waker. If not that then maybe they could have a type of cave system in it's open world such as skyrim or maybe dark souls. In addition I want traditional dungeons, albeit it would be difficult to have linear dungeon design with such a free engine that botw has. Perhaps they could limit Link's movement options in these dungeon with the explanation of some curse placed on him or something.
Maybe a sequel that explores a Gerudo Ganondorf after the events of BOTW 2, or a new villian...
as much as i love majoras mask i have to disagree here that game was rushed and didnt have nearly as much content as ocarina if my memory is correct for exampe you got about half the dungeons in mask then ocarina has id love a a new game of about equal size or bigger
@thedoto That was in the past. Nintendo has all the time in the world to create a sequel similar to Majora’s mask this time around.
Hey… would you look at that! He was right! They DID make a sequel that reused the assets from Breath of the Wild, and it only took them… oh…

Odyssey*
I’d buy it

Odyssey was extremely fantastic. It will remain as my most nostalgic and favorite 3D Mario game. My opinion, it beats every other 3D Mario game.
Molten Electricity I wish I could say the Same thing, it was very disappointing to me to be honest. I was expecting more levels and a more rewarding quest on finding moons. They became trivial so quickly and you just needed a few to move on to the next level. I think M64 is still loads better

They need to look at their past work and implement the best parts of their old designs with the best parts of their new designs
I will probably catch flak for this, but it's coming from concern.

I don't even need them to change anything to be honest. Just a new game that would give me more to do would be awesome
Some more variety in enemies would fix one of the few problems I have with the game. The best part of the game was coming across some kind of monster I'd never seen before and then figuring out how to defeat it. Unfortunately about a quarter way through the game want coming across anything other than different coloured versions of monsters is already seen.
It seems a bit early for a sequel, but who really knows? Nintendo has been really surprising people lately.
Son of Forgado the Destroyer I think E3 would be a perfect time to announce Mario and then release late 2020/ early 2021 (It will be over 3 years later at that point)
They are most certainly not coming out this year, as for the next one, that's anyone's guess.
The time has come!
Deltath Riylaan exactly, I would love to fully explore hyrule like in botw, but when it’s peaceful and everything is all good
This is my wishlist for 2020 Breath of the wild and Mario Odyssey sequels...
While it would be exiting to get a BOTW and/or Odyssey sequels this year, 2019 is already packed with anticipated releases that they’d be pushed back to at least 2020. That’s saying that these re-used asset sequels will even happen at all. Still a great video though!
Doom and Doom II seem like the perfect examples of a quick, asset-reusing sequel that's still a good game.
Can’t wait for Legend of Zelda: Respiration of the Outback
nintendo was like lets take the worst parts of this and forget the whole timely part
who's watching this after the announcement of botw 2?
I am
Idea bomb:
Since Arlo isn't into competitive Smash he should do a video reacting to Grand Finals for Ultimate at Evo 2019.
Bring me a Zelda game using the BOTW engine, but make it more story/character driven with a greater population of towns/cities/npcs
and the Motorcycle available from the beginning rather than the end of a DLC.
I love you Arlo. Your videos always make my day. Never stop doing what you do!
You always have the best videos. Thanks for sharing.
Nintendo: we making new game
Fans: cool, Zelda or Mario
Nintendo: both, it be a crossovers
*Sees reggie*
Omg Reggie come back we love you!!!
The Legend of Zelda: Machine Gun of Light - The game the world needs
In his big fat review he wanted a majoras mask type breath of the wild sequel. This is what we are getting basically.
Thank you for gracing us once again with your presence, magical blue person
WE DID IT, ARLO. OUR OBSESSIVE SPECULATION AND PLAINTIFF WAILS HAVE WROUGHT A DIRECT BOTW ASSET REUSING SEQUEL. PRAISE NAYRU.
Praise All 3 of them and Hylia my guy! Lol great comment btw
Well now you're really gonna be happy
I’d love a prequel for BOTW that further fleshes out the story in that game. What if we got to play through the memories in BOTW up until the events leading up to Link being sent to the chamber of resurrection?
Lol so you basically die in the end
Hamza Khairi I mean yeah! I’d still love a game like it though! It could be a darker themed game explaining in further detail how Hyrule and Link fell to Ganon! It could also be a way to get to know the characters in the game, such as the champions and Zelda more!
As DLC, sure I'd love that
I could see a Zelda game built entirely around that Motorcycle rune from the DLC.
>Termina in war, with more technology; boss fights where you race around on your motorcycle switching between bow and sword, jumping over Ikana canyon, dungeons where you have to creatively use the motorcycle, field minibosses and Lynel-like fights where the fight is designed around fighting on your motorcycle, Shrine-like minidungeonpuzzles using the motorcycle, riding across the wastelands between the warring Terminian factions ...etc
dode I love the scripts you make for this things, even the "Flap" at the begining cracks me up
I would be way more hyped for a botw sequel Mario was good but at the same time it’s the same thing we’ve been getting for the last 20 years botw was unique and way more innovative
I also think it felt a little too uncontrolled creatively. Unlike galaxy and sunshine where they worked within a theme.
Individual levels regularly break the theme in all the Mario games and there are several Mario games like 64 or 3D Land/World that don't have a theme at all)
Also re.
@@liamryan7239 Odyssey had a clear theme though. Its whole thing was a trip across the world.
