From my experience, the rattling isn't caused by the speaker - but actually the window switches. If you hold the window switches on my car, the rattling goes away.

I have a 2007 9 5. I think it is similar.
While I have it open I will put some plumber putty or clay bar or acoustic sealant under the plastic door handle, to make it more solid feeling.
I hate the way it creaks.

Hey man. I hope you are doing great. Your videos are really helpful. I have a question. I have a 9-3 2005 and i want to upgrade my sound system but keep it stock. There is a way that put a aero second amp on my car. My car only have the one that is underneath the driver seat.( what I would like to know is if i need additional wiring for that. Or just the speakers and the amp). I have experience changing sound systems and and amps. Just not on this car.

Hey man I was just wondering if I could get your opinion on this but I love Saab’s so much my dad was the one that really got me into them he’s a pilot and he got one because they kind of associate with Air travel and I am torn because I have the option to either buy a nine Dash three 2006 waggon or a nine Dash areo all wheel drive sedan and I absolutely love the look of the waggon and I don’t know if I can give it up but I can pick the sedan that has a V-6 turbo and is all wheel drive I Would love your thoughts on this
As someone who has had the two engines, I far preferred the V6 Aero to my Arc. MPG is something to definitely think about, I find that the I4 has a noticeably higher fuel efficiency especially city/off-highway driving. However, when driving the V6 I found that it was perfect for highway driving, if I'm remembering correctly it sat at about 2,750rpm at 90mph (6 speed). Being that they're both Aeros you'll be getting the extra comfort either way you go. Does the V6 have the 6 speed Auto?

I haven’t been able to find a rear speaker video yet.
It's pretty much identical, just be careful and it's not a problem.
I've been thinking about painting that piece of trim next to the door handle like you did, but I don't want to risk any overspray on the rest of the door. Is there any way to remove that piece of trim or is it glued or something?
it's plastic welded on. i just recommend painting it for that reason!
you can just tape some plastic foil on the edge of the trim piece and you will be good. Just make sure, that you actually put the foil in the little groove of the trim piece.

Depends on year and if it’s fiber optic or not. I’d ask on some Facebook groups. I haven’t touched the sound system in mine, other than solving little issues like this!
I have a 9-3 1999 convertable, and I want to replace the origial radio with a new Pioneer SPH-DA360DAB. This has DAB, GPS antennes and an external microphone. Do you know if there is an instruction how to hide the cables of the annettes and microphone neatly?. I do not know if the console around the radiio can/should be removed to do this.

I have a saab 93 and I put a JBL speaker in both doors that is only like a year old and after I jumped the car recently the left door speaker stopped working. Is there like a fuse or something that needs replacing could it be wiring connection or the speaker itself because the speaker was very new and I thought it would last longer than a year. What should I do?
I’m not sure. If you still have the stock speaker I’d try hooking that up to see if it works
Is they're a way I can put an aftermarket shift knob on my 93 I really want a dragon ball shift knob but I don't know if I can use it

It's not too bad, take off the door panel, use a dremel or something to remove the melted studs that keep the old one on.
Throw the new one on and use a soldering iron to melt the new studs. Or glue if you're using an old one.

What size is speakers in front doors
im not sure; if you have an 03-06 you will only want to replace with OEM. The fiber optics system in the 03-06 cars makes it hard to upgrade
I also need to do this with my 2006 93. Do you have any recommendations for decent speakers?
I'd like to replace all five. Front and back
not really on 03-06. i would upgrade to the speaker system that came in the higher trim cars since it'll be a direct fit. there's write-ups online about it
I tried replacing the pioneer OEM speakers to the Bose speakers in my 9-3 and little sound came out of it. I couldn’t hear hardly anything.
@@christopherbohn5177 Did you check that the impedance was the same on the speakers you replaced the old ones with? If the ohm value is higher on the new ones you may need to change the stereo to one with a better amplifier.
So Saab went full circle on door storage space. From nothing on the 96 to extremely roomy on the 99 and C900, to difficultly usable on the 9000 to something ridiculous on the 9-5 to nothing on the NG 9-3.

Hey I tried to do this, but now my car won’t lock and the drivers side door won’t open
You must have left something unplugged or wires are somehow damaged
@@AutoAutopsy the locks magically started working so now it’s just the interior door handle that doesn’t rebound or manually open the door, I have to push it back in.

About what you had a problem with… will I have that problem. Meaning did you break it? If I try and replace my husbands speakers for Christmas and he can’t use the door … you can imagine how that would go.
