As far as the rattle in the old speaker, either the dome in the middle, or rubber surround has seperated from the cone somewhere. If you're in a pinch, some tactically placed RTV will hold things together pretty well.
I have a different problem in my Saab 9-5, and that is that there are no front door speakers, even looks like theres never been any either. A previous owner installed some aftermarket wiring for speakers that was kindof the gauge you find on a tweeter, but i can only assume they gave up when they couldent figure out how to get the door cards off, they did pop off the grilles though and made a mess of the wiring to the headunit which i fixed yesterday. Not only that, but it seems they messed with the dash speakers wiring too, which im yet to troubleshoot.

Actually, I mean what you refer to as the shift knob. The old one was still lying on the floor in this video. I do have to replace the geloosy (spelling?) too, but I have that part already. Your other video will be helpful for that 👍
@@aboyd1988 Oh yeah, that old shifter knob was worn to where the leather felt sticky when I'd shift. Small complaint but I swear it's the little touches that make these old Saabs feel new again...

I understand you , but some of your viewers might think it's okay to pull off their 'prestine' trim with a small screwdriver. The reason for my comment was to warn those who want to remove their door cards and use your video as their 'how to' if you know what I mean.
@@mauriziomauricone Makes sense, thank you for doing so bc a trim tool is truly the way to go. I need to invest in a set. The replacement piece I took off with a small screwdriver no issues in another video, but that plastic was pristine. Since it's my car I just go careful, but if it was someone else's I'd definitely use the correct tool.

It is. The long strip comes off with the door card and then you can slide it off
