She has little things that are easy to clean up that can get her a medal - the kip 1/2 over the lower bar was probably the biggest deduction though. All of them are things she can easily fix, so I think we should se some exciting bars work from her to come.
Except that Douglas had far fewer visible errors...if you look at the routines closely, Gabby's is much cleaner. Here you can see just little things that would add up - slight arches, missed handstands, bent arms, etc. Little things. However, Chunsong Shang has huge potential to be absolutely fantastic if she can polish it up a bit.
I completely agree. I mean, with Peiru I could probably understand a bit more, her routine was not exactly very clean, but for this routine I don't really get it. She hit the handstands pretty well, the only huge deduction I can see is her return to the high bar. However, she doesn't deserve a 8.1 for execution. Yeah, Kyla might be clean, but her routine is so boring, I mean, you could award a perfect 10 for a kindergarden kid's routine but that doesn't make it exceptional.
Back when I first saw shang... Omigod she's improved so much but I've loved her ever since I saw her here.
And now she's a serious medal contender for bars, beam, floor and maybe even all-around for this year's worlds. You go, Shang Chunsong.

Liukin could defnately help but I think Douglas, Ross and Bross or even Wieber can get the job done
