Those things handle like turds and get dangerous with horsepower with stock suspension you can make them much better with aftermarket suspension but are still hindered by the trailing arms rear suspension architecture
@@Animal_lives_matter for sure as long as you respect their ability and don't bend them pats are getting scarce, you can make them so much better putting V8 springs in the front if it's a 6 cylinder converted to V8 and hq station wagon springs in the rear and some gas shocks I used to drive an HQ with 350 auto conversion and those suspension changes and later an HZ with 350 and muncie 4 SPD manual with standard suspension the Z had a lot better standard suspension than the Q both had limited slip diffs which also helps
@@robertstojcevski1098 this is plenty of power for a street car, looks cool too. Gets a lot of attention because of the way it’s set up. I’d fit a carb SBC in this before an LS.
@@paulj355 Real nice man. I'm keen to drive mine a little. I just uploaded my first drive video after 8 years. Finally washed off the dust too. It's just not sitting at a good height in the rear and it has a single tyre fire diff so I'll get a trutrac and some springs and run it in some more.
@@peatergriffin awesome, cool video your car sounds great 👍 Can speak for Lovells, sized as advertised. Truetrac is a good option if you’ve already got a diff with decent gears. Being able to buy new gears is handy too.
Now these are cars , not like todays garbage !

My brother in law is rebuilding his grandads kingy with a stroker too. This is gorgeous!
Thanks 🙏
A beautiful car, with a fantastic sound. Now I'm just a little bit jealous👍
So tidy,I love it.
@@LsMaloo it’s a knockout car. His attention to detail is psychotic.
Seen both these at Dandy Holden day, both beautiful 👌🏼
Thanks Shaun. Hot day that was!
God I'd give anything to own one of these, idc if it's the old 202, or how slow, or how much petrol, it's got fucking soul and character
Very grateful to own one. These were both 202 cars which we converted to V8 after buying.
Gorgeous! Sounds mint. What motor specs?
Australia - beautiful country
Ironically it sounds like my old xy gt

Hey mate what is old mate running suspension wise in the green kingy sits nice !
@@cooperwarren4056 king springs, super low front, Torana rear
@@paulj355hey mate I’m rocking the lowered Torana springs in the rear but yours look a bit lower ? I’ve got KHRL-12S ?
What’s the part number on the rear springs if you know what it is that would be awesome.
Who needs a stroker when you an LS
Boring. Not for me
Old school engines are alot more reliable, but I do have to admit ls engines do put put good power

Is is far better and more reliable 😊
LS don’t belong in H series. Sound doesn’t match car.
What springs have you guys got in the back? I have the lowest kings in my hq and it's about 50-60mm higher than these
My blue HZ has Lovells super low rears, the HX has Kings Torana low that were reset a further inch or so.
