Behr Dynasty deep base semi-gloss and minwax polycrylic (roughly 3:1) from Home depot
And thinning to the right consistency with JoSonja gloss varnish (Dick blick, jerrys artsarama or Fluidart.co)

I really do love the monochromatic or simpler colour palettes… I returned to them myself a few days ago and used Boom Gel, so this video was very timely for me. I was wondering if it was something else I was doing or if it was the result of the Boom Gel that many of the cells are “sided” instead of round or oval. But I see some of those “sided” cells in your piece. Do you know what it is that causes that reaction?
