The wall paint I use for my PILLOW PAINT is PPG multipro, opened for a few days to thicken it up

📌 THE SPINNER I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single work step is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)
I sell these on my homepage and if you want to up your game and create on big canvases, you seriously should check it out!
DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.
For medium and smaller Canvasses, check out my new tiny and mighty Bäby spinner!

How cool! It looks like an alien space creature. 👽💕
Yesss! A fishy one :)
This is just plain cool
Makes me want to stare at it for hours
Gotta admit, I spent a lot of time staring! LOL
Very cool piece! I like the repetition of the "chop swipes".
Thats a good name for them!
Wow, that is absolutely beautiful. That is one of my favorites Jessica. AMAZING!!!
Thanks, Bill!
AAAAmazing , love love love this dark beauty ❤
So happy you do, sheila!
Roohhh, so strange and so beautiful 💜
Thanks so much
A masterpiece! The texture of those spines you created - oof! So cool!
Thanks for stopping by, my friend!
I love this. The colors and shapes are soft and inviting. We don't usually thik of intergalactic space that way. But this is so inviting to me.
Thanks so much!
Amazing!!!! Absolutely love this piece. ❤️
Thank you so much, Susan!
Thank you for sharing 🎨
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely Gorgeous!💙
Wow that looks fabulous Jessica ❤❤
Thanks a ton, Jeanette!
I dabble in the arts a little bit here and there right now I'm waiting to get enough money to get some floetrol so I can do some get some canvases I'm 65 I don't have much money to do this but I love it I want to do jewelry next
You can use less expensive paint to start out with. And paint on anything you can gesso. Just go for it. And practice practice practice.
I would start on a simpler technique and work your way up. I would suggest dirty pours and straight pours to begin with. That's what teachers first timers. Oh and puddle pours are a good start as well. Good luck to you. 😊
Thanks for your help, Wendie!
Tres belle réalisation, les couleurs donnent vraiment un très beau mélange, bravo encore et comme toujours sublime ❤
Merci!
I saved this for when I got my exact paints and tools to try this and hopefully I get it right 😅😊 wish me luck you’re very aspiring
Best of luck, Sheri! Let me know how it went!
Gorgeous, galactic look.
Oh wow! This is very cool and galactic. Looks like lots of little raw pearls. But then I read the title you gave it with the 'chantrelle' in it and I thought of the little mushrooms. Then all these little pearl like colors looked like little mushrooms all nestled in these little structures floating merrily out thru space. Regardless, it's another fantastic painting. Great composition and so much fun always, watching you 🎨 paint. 😊
Thank you so very much!
Absolutely beautiful
Thanks so much!
Very very very cool Jess. You are a master!
Thanks so much, Pam!
I really liked the blue accents on gray and black. Very mysterious!
Wow loving this piece!
Glad you do, Lana! Thank you
Just ordered my spreaders right after this episode…❤
Right on!
GENAU ANDERSRUM!!!!
Ich mag andersrum! Danke dir!
Omg….I love this it reminds me of H.R.Giger Art it’s brilliant glad you stopped spinning as I kept going right stop now …lol coz them bits that looked like spinal bones are amazing, think this is one of your best pieces ❤😊
Gaaaaah! Did you know I tried a ginger inspired series?! Love biomechanical looking stuff.
But I kinda gave up, I will go back though.
I tried to go intergalactic but my mind's eye took me to the ocean's depth. A graveyard or rebirth? It's actually both and I love love love this one, Jessica❣ Oh, I am sooo anxious to take a zoom class with you. Still organizing my painting space. Such a procrastinator But it Will happen! Thank you for your video lessons that encourage me to practice practice practice.❤❤
Oh, procrastination, I feel you, claudia!

Your welcome.
Gorgeous ❤❤
Thank you!
This piece is SO INTRIGUING. I have never seen a pour like it. Color, composition is beautiful. Really makes you think. Wow!
Thank you, Kelli. I'm always exploring and making new techniques up to keep myself obsessed.
Just GREAT. I been using white pearl in alot my swipes... I also have to compliment you on the MUSIC. It's VERY Tangerine Dream-ish, as a German YOU must've heard their music in movies and TV and just awesome instrumental 1980s and onwards..i put their albums to paint to!! I love their soundtrack to th KEEP a art house goyhic horror fim which I also adore.....anyways your music on today's video reminded of the Keep. Your is a little less dramatic, but I recommend both film & and soundtrack. I'm out of P,M so I will make use of all the mixed colours and piggies left and just practice more on the boards! Let me know if you did listen to any of it. Awesome work today just stunning!
Ive never seen the movie, I'll check it out! Thank you
Exquisite
Merci, Jackie!
Jessica you art a true artist. This is absolutely amazing and beautiful
I'm so happy you think so. Thanks a lot, Mark
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
Wow wow once again an absolutely outstanding hide&reveal pouring. From my point of view your creativity is impressive. With your hide&reveal technique you definitely have been opening a further fluid art dimension👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂
Vielen Lieben Dank, Friedo!
素晴らしい👍✨
Schweet! You always know where that Palette knife goes. Must be an artist thing. 😅 Best be signing up for a class!
So - how many times do you remember gloves only AFTER your hands are all painted up? Just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one...
Cheers girl!
Haha, yes, I wish I'd remember earlier. Sometimes I realize after the fact when I seared all the paint on kitchen cabinets or the fridge... (I get in trouble a lot!)
Absolutely Fab-U-Lous!!! Do you mind sharing your black paint mixture, please? How many parts of your PM + what amount of black do you use, and do you use a high density Amsterdam paint or something else? This method of yours is unique, and every time I think you've nailed the perfect technique, you come up with another something new! Your compositions just get better and better. I hope to try my hand at this soon! You are so inspiring! Thank you, Jessica!!
That's so kind of you, Susan! The black is just mixed like all my other colors. I cant really tell you ratios, it always depends on wich tube paint I use. They all have different consistencies. Also, I'm just eyeballing.
Oh and the music is awesome for painting imo. Do you have a link or reference for it. Please and thank you 💖
I get my music from Epidemicsound. I dont remember the names though. Sorry
Oh, and I am not Lola Gazebo..... just, Susan H.
HAHA! Good to know. I hope I'll remember
@bramstayer - I love tangerine dreams! Don’t know the movie though.
This is incredible!! I love what you’re doing with faux pillows. I have a question, though: do you always use such thick paint? Is it a matter of personal choice or does it depend on swipe vs blow? Thanks
yes, the paint has to be thick. It needs to support itself. The thinner the paint the more likely it is to get wonky, tiny cells and mud. This is special to the bloom technique.
Hi Jessica! I’ve been watching your videos for more than 2 years now and have been very impressed with your art work. I have made some interesting pieces using your techniques & I love your BIG spinner. Although I wasn’t ready to try large canvases when I first started, I am now & would like to purchase your BIG spinner. Unfortunately, your site says it’s sold out. Do you know when your BIG spinner will be available for purchase? Thanks in advance, Judi
Thank you so much! The spinner will be back in stock later today.
@@WinterStromArt WhooHoo!! Thanks Jen, I’ll check back later today or tomorrow ❤️
I have an abundance of tiny round color spots peeking up through the black, too many. What is the cause? I notice you do as well but not nearly as many. Your work is stunning and your round peeks of color look nice, I just have to many. Thanks in advance.
😮😮😮 c'est hot !! Pourquoi moi, ça craque quand ca sèche car j'ai trop épais de peinture mais pas toi ??? 🙏🙏
What do you thin your paints out with?
Either just my pouring medium or gloss varnish. Depending how much I want to thin it
Thank you! I thought the medium makes it thicker
no, the medium should be thinner than the mixed up paints. The tube paints will thicken it@@pamrosenthal335
