Thanks for the tutorial! I might add that a little pair of pliers was necessary for me to pull off that little breather tube thing. I don't think I've ever changed the air filter in 15 years and 10,000 miles! I'll be sure to do it more often, the change is remarkable... the motor just sounds so much smoother. Thanks...
Thanks dude! it’s the little details like that which take longer to do then actually working on the bike. It’s all worth it in the end :) hope it helps you out
ive got a similar windscreen for my cb250, makes a huge difference! K&N makes a filter for the cmx250 which will fit inside the cb250 air box. Only minimal modding needed for a lifetime air filter. Change your sprockets to 15t/30t, you wont regret it ; )
hey Kevin, do you mean the front sprocket (primary sprocket). I don't know much about getting parts in the USA but the stock 14 tooth part number is 23801-kr3-000 and is stocked here www.davidsilverspares.com/parts/by-part-number/partnumber_8654/ ....... I've not used the site myself but have used the UK version and always had great service (davidsilverspares.co.uk)...... As for a 15 tooth sprocket have you tried eBay? bear in mind the cb250, nighthawk 250, rebel 250 and the cmx250 all use the same sprocket! so there is some variations you can use on your search, best of luck. matt
i've been stuck before and had to nock some loose stuff out (sand) but they really are worth replacing as they will brake down over time ( moisture in the air and so on)
@@OneBoysDreamFilm Thanks man🙏. I just replaced the air filter and it feels ten times better. I had cleaned the filter but that only temporary fixed the problem. Definitely worth replacinh.
That’s cool dude, I didn’t know they made one for this little bike, if you have a link I’ll put it in the description... I’m sure it benefits from being able to breathe more freely
Brilliant instructional video !!
I can't believe the price of these filters now 🤯
I know right!!! it's getting quite extortionate isn't it?
Man I love your videos! Because of you I've learned to take care of my 250 hawk! So informative! Thank you so much for your help!

@@OneBoysDreamFilm thx a lot:)
Thanks. Just about to do a filtre swap. Great tutorial.
Best of luck, hope the video helps 🤞
Hi, what kind of crash bars do you have on ? I can hardly find any for the nighthawk that look like that
I got them secondhand off a royal Enfield, can't remember which model but it's kind of a universal fit
Say, can one clean this kind of filter? I think I can ride mine out a little longer but I don’t know if it’d be appropriate
