- Thought I would make a review of my Honda Nighthawk CB250 before I sell it tomorrow. Had a lot of fun with her the 3 weeks I had but now it's time for me to move up to the 83' 650 which I will make a future video on when I fix it up more!

Ah memories. I took the msf on one of these. Neat little bike. I wouldn’t mind having one if I was like 150lb lighter...
I just took a motorcycle course using one these about 2 hrs ago!
Best looking 250 bike, and I can't believe I chose this to ride during my cmsp. Wish I started early when I was in high school though. I would've been so bad ass especially since nobody at my school was riding a motorcycle those times. Definitely would've asked a couple girls to ride with me lol. And it's a 250, easy on mpg and decent power. And it's a Honda, built to last!

Very nice bike. My cb 250 is very similar but I didn’t get the spoke wheels. Did you find the tool kit?
Afaik Top speed is 80 but she'll get to 70 fairly quickly and 60 is less than 10 seconds. Same engine as rebel.... 234cc...very smooth and responsive for a 250. Its not the super dream engine. Easy on the throttle and she'll do 90mpg imperial.For overall performance/comfort/reliability of an run of the mill 250 commuter its probably the best that was ever made.
So is this like a Honda Rebel 250 but just with different sytling???
The engine looks identical. The gauges look like from a CM450
What is the cruising speed over a longer distance so as not to overwhelm it with high revs?

Will a cb250 engine fit or bolt onto Honda RebelCMX motorcycle frame. I'm asking because I have an entire Honda Rebel 250 waiting for an engine. Just curious
It will. Two motorcycles are differently built though. The CMX is a cruiser and much better looking.

I like these and the Rebels, but I can't decide which one is better. Which one should I get for commuting?

Uk version had front disc and rev counter.
I sincerely hope that they didn't use the superdream engine on the nighthawk.

Thanks for your comment man! I had the nighthawk for a staggering 3 weeks then ended up selling it, this was 4 years ago now. To say the least I got bored of the 250 since all of my friends were leaving me in the dust with there 1000s. I did however very much like the bike the handling was perfect and it’s a very cool slick ride, perfect starter bike. I did ride it on the highway I believe the lowest acceptable amount of cc’s for a motorcycle is 125 on the highway but that sucker will be screaming louder then a dog whistle at 70 mph. The 250 doesn’t fair much better, biggest downside for my taste was the acceleration. I saved up some money and ended up with a 2007 Honda 919 amazing bike!

@@gavinleschack1257 Not sure how people get "bored" of 250s, which are perfect especially if you are riding around town. I don't have any friends, and I don't feel like public streets are meant for racing.
@@jasonhochman3750That’s awesome that you ride a 250 and honestly your right racing is not for the street. I did get bored of it at the time this is true. People like yourself enjoy using 250cc just as much as people like 600s or 1200s all depends on what your into and what your using it for.

@@creepermaster9043 Hmmm... well, the single-carb Nighthawk is somewhat detuned and gets pretty good fuel economy because of it.

These have just about the same wheelbase as the 650cc four cylinder bikes from the early 80s, you can pad the seat or change out the bars to fit your personal ergonomic needs.
