Let me say you have made the perfect video for this product. You speak well. Act intelligent and respectable. It’s the perfect video. I’m buying this unit today. Please consider getting a mic to wear because that white room you are in has so much echo its hard to understand you at times. Your video is so good, you deserve to be heard correctly. Giving you a big thumbs up.
Mic won’t effect the echo. Hanging a couple moving blankets might.
@@derekp13 ok clearly you don’t understand the science of using microphones. I do. It’s been my life for over 40 years. There is what we call signal to noise ratio. Move mic far from your mouth and that ratio heavily favors the sound of the room over the voice. Mic moves close to the mouth will dramatically increase the voice to room ratio. This is science. NOT some guy’s opinion. Test it and you will find out. Remember. Mic very near the voice. Yes softening room will help. But mic near your mouth is the absolute solution.

I purchased this radio and the the Kenwood dr876s. Would the boot up time be better on this unit? That was a major complaint on the 876s.

Would a 2 to 1 RCA adaptor make the subwoofer output work for older amps? Also wondering if there is a way to make the home screen have android auto instead of carplay on the default home menu?
Hi. Question does this unit displays the camera view automatically or do you have to go to Home Screen and touch camera display to see your rear view camera display like the KENWOOD Dmx 4707 counterpart.
I’m wanting to get Apple CarPlay for my 2015 Holden Captiva (7seater)…. I want it to have wireless connectivity but to also keep the the 1 in car function that comes up which is for the aircon.
The sales guy told me it had Holdens MyLink with Apple Car play but it doesn’t.
What is the best option to go as Holden is covering the install & getting what I need at trade price.
Is there a car play interface that can be added like in one of your other videos or do I need a new head unit (which would be the best) or can Holden add the MyLink to the existing system by adding some small additional component

I just installed this unit, paired my phone with it but people can hear me but I cannot hear others through the car system. Does anyone have any idea of what I may have done wrong?
I just bought my truck yesterday its a 2006 gmc Sierra, the dealership installed the stereo and Discarded the manual. The stereo is a jvc touchscreen, is there an onscreen display that shows the info on exactly what unit it is? I would like to download or purchase a paper booklet on the instructions/operation of the unit. I'm extremely new to vehicle stereo technology and a little confused on all the different functions. Very well made video! Thank you! The unit that I have looks alot like this one in your video and it probably is the same one I'd just like to be sure bcs I've had alot of problems in the past working with some of today's technology and have had to consult professionals to help me figure out what I did! lol thanks again excellent video!

Hi, thank you for the video it is clear, concise and well put together. I have just today bought this unit to fit to my 2005 Camry Sportivo. The guy at Repco (knowing I wanted the steering wheel controls) sold me what I believe is the wrong Aerpro wiring kit. After looking at the Aerpro website I believe I should have got either the APP9JVC5 or APP9JVC3, would you happen to know which kit I need? The Aerpro website was not clear to me.

The screen on my unit is too bright at night, any idea to get it to auto dim?
I am using a Connects2 harness.
should be an orange cable I believe so when you turn on high beams the screen dims but not sure if it's the same for every brand or not
as much as I like this, when I priced up the adaptors I'd need for my 2009 Skoda Octavia, it was another 100 quid on top
4 months later the LCD went our n it won't turn on or turn off. Yet, I can still play music through my phone through the USB port.

In the North American version, RDS doesn't work, so the clock is always wrong, at least until you disable RDS in the radio setup.
Yo how do you disable the RDS I got this installed couple months ago and and the damn clock doesn't show the right time never

Mine doesn't have steering wheel control In the settings menu ,I've got the adapter hooked up and it works when pressed but nothing happens in the radio.
Did you ever figure this issue out? We have the same issue trying to install this in my buddies vehicle. In fact, our radio doesn’t have as many wires as this one is showing. Did you try using the av input on the back of your radio?
Man, the US version of this exact same head unit doesn't include the wires to connect directly to the steering control inputs. I wish it did!

TO USE USB FOR MOVIES AND MUSIC. do not just right click and format a thumb drive to FAT32. The deck will probably not read it. It has to be a MasterBootRecord MS-DOS FAT32 formatted drive Not GUID FAT32 formatted drive as you will get by default in windows. So absurd but I had 2 installers look at my NEW deck they installed and were clueless and called JVC Who couldn’t tell me why the deck wouldn’t recognize my thumb drives even though they were formatted FAT32. I finally figured this out on my own. Nowhere in the manual does it say anything about the boot record needing to be non GUID. Ugh! Also I’m now hai g a 128GB NVME I. A usb enclosure that’s VERY fast to navigate and certainly larger than what they say is the max of 16GB! Lol!!! Clueless….

Brother this unit is one of the worst bits of kit I’ve ever used, I’ve connected everything and no power at all totally useless way to spend 300 quid if you or anyone else is reading this DONT BUY.

These things are junk. Put one in my wife’s truck and it lasted about 15 months. Just turned off and never came back on. Reset won’t work either. Meanwhile the Alpine in my truck been kicking for 6 years. Two JVC’s in 2 years and both did the same thing. Save your money people!
