In their present avatar the coconut tree climbers of Goa use a special coconut tree climbing machine. It's amazing, the speed at which they can climb the slim vertical trunks. Once at the crown, they rain coconuts down. In the hotels and resorts this can be lifesaving, else the coconuts may land on an unsuspecting guest enjoying the breeze!
