Love this headset. I've owned probably 30+ headsets in my life, ranging from $50-$350 and these are some of the best. 80 plus hours of battery life is sureal

Bro, you hit the nail on the head. I bought the 600 and returned it because of the hot spot on top of my head. It was REALLY bad for me. Also, I like bass boost, but the highs, even in boost mode, kinda hurt my ears.
Love your reviews, man! Currently rocking the Corsair Virtuoso Pro thanks to your videos, but I'm always keeping an eye out for a good (and white) wireless headset.

In regards to the Waves driver - you better keep it on, here's why:
I bought the Stealth 600 g3 headset (PC version) based on this and The Tecne's reviews, and whatever I tried to do with the EQs, sound pre-sets, and some other available settings, the positioning was extremely bad in PUBG. Also farther sounds (like 50+ meters) were too quiet while your own gun shooting or vehicle you drive were painfully loud. When I checked this waves driver in Windows settings, it was off by default in my case, so I tried to turn it on - and luckily it fixed just everything. The sounds are now balanced, and I now have clear understanding what direction and distance the shots are coming from, and the closest sounds, like my gun or vehicle aren't covering the sounds from the environment.
So yea, if you find yourself in a similar situation, please try turning this setting back on if it was disabled before you decide to return the headset :D
I don't know why it was advised to have it off in this review - it's either they've not actually tested this in game with the driver off (which I hope is not the case), or Turtle Beach has updated the driver and it just now works correctly

Now I need to decide if I want the *Atlas Air* or the *Stealth 600 Gen 3* : need battery longevity vs maximum ear comfort (no sweat) vs a great mic. Both headset kinda feel the same while watching you describe both, can you help me decide? 😄

Pulse 3d can be had for like 70-80$ and with wicked cushions, it's 100$ or a bit above. worthy consideration for ps5 users

I am desperate to find a similar sounding headset in audio & mic quality to that of my TB Stealth 420x+ that recently bit the dust. I got the Stealth Pros, but it just feels too bulky for my liking and I dislike the button mapping options on the wheel. 😭
Would you recommend 600 gen 3 or 700 gen 2 max. Right now it's only a $20 difference
Hey Joe, I recently watched your video on the new artic nova 5 and btw I though the video was amazing. But it did leave me with a few questions. One, would you recommend adding a windscreen pop filter to the headset and if so which one in particular? And second, how loud is the headset and what would you compare the headset sound too?

So, let's say.... out of the box ive heard u say that the nova 5x from steelseries are a little bit muddy.... does it still sound better then the turtlebeach Stealth 600 Gen 3? i really want to know cause its literally the 2 headsets i am doubting between ;D i mainly play games like valheim, 7 days to die, COUNTER STRIKE 2, skyrim and guild wars ;D
Dear Friend. Thanks for all the great reviews, this might be a big ask. But i have bought a misodiko pair of earpads for the SteelSeries Nova 7 and found them to be more comfortable for me than the WC freeze. However, they change the sound drastically in my opinion and i wanted to point it out if you can ever make a review on their pads. Thank you for reading wishing you all the best and success 🙏🏻
why is it the new headsets make your voice to yourself sound like an old CCTV playback or talking into a tin can? The Stealth 600 Gen 1 headset had such a natural sound with the mic monitoring.

I bought the gen 3 600 , and my mate could not hear me eat crisps or washing my hands with a running tap. I DID DO THE FIRMWARE UPDATE FIRST. mic very clear when playing hell let loose and sound is good similar to pulse elite I thought ,but for the money this is great if you want a mic headset (as my pulse has a rubbish mic ,played 6hrs still had 93% battery. I found it very comfortable but Ihave small ears for a grown-up. Only moan is it has to be near max volume on ps5 ( I am 51 though). He is right for the money impressed.
Have just found the custom eq on the app and it fixes low volume now perfect especially just raising the htz he said for mor detail

I ordered my Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 for Xbox today. However, I have two problems.
1. I can't hear myself through the headphones. I was able to do this with my Gen 2.
2. My mic doesn't work during a party. I've tried everything, but it just doesn't seem to work.
I'm thinking about getting a Stealth 600 Gen3 or Nova 5 or something else? Which would be the best for PC gaming, movies, music?

Still using Stealth 700 Gen 1,just needed to order some new ear pads as mine the pleather is all flaking off,havent used em in a while so it must of been just doing that over time even without use.
Anyway,soundwise Im still happy with it.
Im using the optical out from TV to usb receiver as on PS5 there is no optical port,and PS5 only for chat for audio.
And its gotta be better doing it that way rather than all audio for sound and using the PS5 3D audio option.
So my question is:Is there any real benefit getting new Stealth 600 gen 3 over my 700 Gen 1 ?

I am using the Epos H6 Pro Open with a MixAmp Gen3 and considering to upgrade to ether the Gen4 MixAmp or SteelSeries GameDac.

I’m trying to use this on pc. Like for example the game im trying to use it on lspdfr the mic has some distort with words with like the letter t and letter p in it so it’s hard to understand. First time ever using a mic how do I clean this up so it has a cleaner mic audio ?

I need a headset under 100 bucks for pc that has game chat mixer
Just bought the turtlebeach stealth 500s as my first headset. The chat volume doesn’t work no matter what game I play. The main volume slider controls the game and chat audio at the same time. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello Joe, do you recommend the 600 gen 3 or the Cloud 3. I’d be using them for single player games. I’m leaning more towards the Cloud 3’s since they have a more natural sound.

Any one of these headsets have the game to chat volume for the PlayStation five that will work on the app that’s the only reason I’ll buy a new headset. I have the Astro right now.

My Stealth 600 Gen 1 lasted me all the way from 2018. It’s finally dying, connection issues and I flipped the mic down the other day it just shut off. Just ordered Razer Blackshark V2 2023 based on your review.

As far as I know, only the PC version, but the PS5 version of the 600 Gen 3 is the only variant I do not have.

So you CAN adjust game to chat mix manually through the software, just not assign the feature to the built in buttons... Is this a correct understanding? It's the only part that confuses me about the video
Yes, you can adjust game to chat via Swarm 2 for the 600 Gen 3. Just need to install the software for it to work.

I bought the 600 Gen 3 at release, but the volume and voice chat is constantly turning up and down by itself. Is it defective, or was it a bad update?
That seems defective. Mine hasn't done that at all on either version (Xbox and PC).

Which? If it's what I teased on my live stream, AceZone has announced a wireless version of their A-Spire! I'll review it as soon as possible. As far as others go, I'm not 100% sure yet.
How do these compare the atlas air? Is the atlas air a substantial improvement? My atlas air arrive tomorrow.
The Atlas Air is more comfortable and has a pretty big improvement in sound quality, especially if you listen to music on them. Great pick!
Thanks. I tried the Audeze Maxwells and the Aune ar5000 and didnt like either. My old fidelio x2’s sound better with everything i throw at them, including music either low bit or high bit audio sounds great on those. Its just not wireless and the clamp force is not very good. I hope this is my end game headphone. I also tried iems, the zero red’s and the Intuaura Splendor 2’s. The splendor ‘s are really good for the price but iems seem to slip out of my ears too frequently when playing games. Listening to music the splendors are a bit better at mids. The soundstage is what im looking for though. I like the x2 because they take you to the venue. I hope these Air’s do the same.
Save you the 35 mins mins, Both trash. Good video & Fair. Had both, Returned both & Just went to my handy dandy trust worthy astro 10. LOL. Had connection issues right off the bat on the 500 & 600.
