1. Sometimes in the case of Sunghoon and Jake, the idols won't know the people they have to take pictures with. It's their job. They are required to do what they are told by their managers. 2. What Sakura said at 1:24 is, "such a Japanese mindset," in netizens' eyes? And if it is, so what? What she said there actually reminds me of when I was at a really low point, comparing myself to others, and I asked someone in a livestream how I can stop comparing myself to others. He told me a very similar thing, saying, "you shouldn't compare yourself with others; don't compare yourself with others. You know who you should compare yourself with? YOU! Compare yourself with YOU!!" And suggested different things for me to feel better. This was from somebody whom is also Japanese, and lived in the US for a little while. Words like these can make a difference for those struggling, even if it's just for one or two people. Positivity shouldn't be reduced to being a certain cultural mindset. People encouraging others to be more understanding and kinder to yourself is..being a kind person in a cruel world.
That’s what related so much to her words! I’m very hard on myself. I rarely praise myself and mostly focus on the negatives and what I could have done better. I’m trying to be better at that and not expect perfection because I’m human. I will make mistakes. But I will also do amazing work and should be proud of that work. Even when I don’t amazing, just being able to say “No matter what anyone says I did my absolutely best and I’m proud of myself. I can’t wait to get even better” is a mindset I aim to have.

The line between criticism and hate is really thin sometimes. Hybe and most of their groups (except for some before their acquisition) always focus mainly on stage presence. YG for rap and SM for vocals. ofc that isn't the case but my point is le sserafim aren't just singers, they're performers (idols) at a "singers" festival. The criticism should only be for the festival that they're at and what regard that holds. Coachella is no joke and I'm happy for the girls, but like, you gotta put in the effort and be able to sing and sustain notes while dancing, it's just part of an idol life. they've debuted for 2 years and at Coachella but not singing well live. aespa performed at Coachella 2 years after debut and the crowd size was small but they left an impression and turned heads. Their live singing wasn't perfect at all, but compared to le sserafim, they sing more vocally demanding songs and better while also live. The vocal criticism makes sense but hate isn't needed here or anytime. Kpop idols have it rough.
Idk, I feel like this comment isn't fair. Lesserafim has some amazing vocalists, Yunjin & Chaewon are pretty impressive and have been able to sing live VERY WELL before. I mean, if you watched Produce48, you'd know that Yunjin has amazing stamina. As for Kazuha/Eunchae, I do agree THEY weren't ready): There is still a lot of room for improvement in regards to them. Lastly, Sakura did amazing at Coachella, her vocals aren't top tier but she held her own and somewhat carried the stabilization along with Chaewon. Sakura has always been a pretty good performer though. I think it's unfair to claim they haven't put in enough effort when they clearly put on an amazing performance and many attendees agreed with that. Vocals aren't the end all be all of Coachella. You're REALLY overestimating Coachella as a festival haha... Yes, people go for music, but they also go for performances and literally to just have fun and vibe. A lot of western artists that attend focus more on performance rather than vocals, but I don't see anyone calling them out. In fact, I watched most performances that weekend and tbh Lesserafim was on par with many of the western performers as well. For example, I was excited to see Lana Del Rey's set as she's my favorite, but her vocals were pretty iffy the entire set. I didn't really care though because the passion was still there & the performance aspect made up for it. Singers don't always have perfect days and I think that's what makes LIVE PERFORMANCES so fun and entertaining. They're real. Just because you mess up a few times does not make you bad, undeserving or "lacking effort". I know your comment isn't meant as hate but I think your argument is unfair in the grand scheme of things.

Coachella is seriously not that deep that they had to be perfect otherwise they are undeserving of the opportunity. Despite their imperfections they still do better than a number of popular western artists which no one ever has criticism for. The girls know they have room for improvement and are working on it behind the scenes, if you like the music and not the live vocals no one is forcing you to watch or pay for it. Not saying people can't want better of their idols but y'all have been riding this hate parade since the girls debuted and at this point I just wish ppl would move on from the group if they seriously can't recognize any improvement or talent bc it's so annoying to scroll to the comment section of every LSF video and it's just comments filled sky high of people complaining as if there's nothing of substance to take away from the group. At the end of the day, other groups being better than LSF doesn't mean they are bad, it means they have room for improvement. I’m proud of Le Sserafirm. They had great presence. They looked like they had fun and a great time with the crowd. I also saw examples of both good and not so great vocals, but I think that’s what happens when you sing live. It won’t always be perfect. They have room to grow. They’re a young group. But I’m so proud of them and excited to see more from them. Also extremely proud of Ateez. I was so so gagged. They did phenomenal. I cried just thinking about how hard they worked to get this point. Which is weird to cry over a group I’ll never meet. But I just felt really really proud and happy for them ❤❤
Exactly, I think people forget what REAL live performances are like because kpop stans are so use to lip syncing and loud backtracks (both of which are completely fine imo). Live music is never perfect and that's what makes it so fun to watch
I wish the video touched more upon the praise ATEEZ received for their performance. As a small agency group, its a huge achievement. Its sad their excellent performance got completely overshadowed by the hate Le Serrafim has been receiving. It just seems as if ATEEZ's performance is an afterthought- with this channel too :(
It's absolutely not an after thought! I wanted to at least make sure I started the whole video talking about ATEEZ making history. But it also would've felt weird praising them for an extended amount of time + Jackson and Bibi + The Rose, but then have to talk about the criticisms and/or hate that LSF have been getting. Le sserafim is getting hate not criticism... if they actually wanted to criticize they would do it with respect but at this point they're just mocking them. As with Chaewon and her story of Doja Cat, she can't control what Doja Cat does she's just a very big fan and if it was actually a response for all the hate we won't know for sure. The Le sserafim hate train is getting out of hand since months ago with their Easy comeback. People are saying that Hybe is ruining kpop when in reality it's the knetz and kpop fans with unhealthy expectations thinking that their idols should be perfect, if they would be perfect they wouldn't be human. And in their coachella performance they also experienced live video difficulties that have been present since coachella day 1 on Friday, Ateez also experienced the same problems but I don't see them getting hate. Don't get me wrong I love them both but Im just starting to believe Le sserafim is getting hate just because they're girls. A lot of kpop fans also gave hate to Blackpink and Aespa for their performance in the past and now they're receiving praise just to degrade Le sserafim. All of this is just a trend.

Thing is Le Sserafirm isn't getting criticism, they're just straight up getting hate. People who attended the show are literally leaving with a great experience and a lot of praise, the critics are giving them high ranks. Le Sserafirm absolutely killed it, but as a professional said, people don't actually know what raw vocals sound like anymore.
Yes, the Le sseraphim stage performance and stage presence was great, but the vocals was not very good, though. Raw vocals actually are not supposed to sound like that, the tones were off and unstable. I don't think it's the girls'fault=> Hybe-Source music should really focus on their idol's vocal stability and make sure their voice/throat is not strained.

I am pretty old school and it shows in my age I'm 33 but as a long time kpop fan I still prefer idols who have a good vocal foundation. I'm not shitting on le sserafim tho it's not their fault their vocals are over produced in the final version of the album but the ones managing them don't think how it will sound live. Hyunjin has a pretty good grasp of her vocals and even Sakura has improved. Excitement changes your voice, nervousness affects your voice and they had all of those going against them. Their vocal coaches could have given them vocal drills and not allow them to close up their vocal chords by drinking just the right temp of water or beverage. These girls were probably trained vocally but technical and things you can't control like emotions also come into play. They should not overproduce vocals through pitch correction softwares and just them sing in their comfortable pitch also give them instructions on how to maintain their vocal chords. They have lovely voices just needed to learn technique.
I'm sorry but as a FEARNOT, I'm disappointed in Le Sserafim. It's embarrassing to be their fan when people can easily disprove us with these events and fumbles. I don't think they understand the disappoint for fabs and for them to say "this was our best performance" or "we did our best" makes me upset because they are better than this, I believe they can be better but if they want to say this is their best, it sells themselves short and makes me not want to lookout for them and their improvement.

The S/L/B/S situation with Stray Kids is INSANE! Finding out that the people who "won" the auctions were already hand-picked prior, especially two in particular. An ex-staff member selling private information specifically from Lee Know and they actually showed up, the fact that this goes as far back as NHK Kohaku in December! The fact that these saesangs flaunted about their "accomplishments" on social media. It's been a crazy past few weeks! I just hope JYPE does something about it.

For the people that aren't aware of how dangerous baseball can be, there is a reason athletes wear helmets when playing a game. I am very thankful that Chowon was able to wake up. Kpop Junkee could be reporting a completely different story right now. Also, do not be surprised if we don't see her for a while. When it comes to head injuries, especially concussions where a person fully loses consciousness for a while, doctors still don't quite know the all the effects it can have, not to mention that everyone is different. We might not see Chowon for at least 6 months, if not longer. We also might see her back and fully healed in a few months.
Anytime you hit your head or have something hit you in the head can be incredibly dangerous even if you feel ok at the time you should always see a doctor. People have died from such things. Lets hope she makes a full recovery. There were also the usual idiots saying it wasn't that bad and was a publicity stunt, words fail me sometimes.

Something that I realized from watching LSRFM performance they really don’t have a strong discography. Out of all the songs they released they only performed the ones that Hybe heavily promoted. The other artist that are doing their own sets are performing all their songs( at least 2 full albums worth) including all the b-sides making it about an hour length show.With this being the second week at Coachella I guarantee people are expecting something different. I just hope the girls are prepared better than last week.
They are only given 40 minutes to perform, that's not something they have control over, it's not a lsf concert, it's a festival that's extremely dependant on the preformers staying on time. They want ppl to be able to sing along so it makes sense they perform the most known songs. Not having a strong discography is a personal opinion, everyone lucky enough to watch live seemed happy with what they got
They are known as "B-side Queens" since 2022-2023, literally every fandom loves their bsides... They are also considered kpop darlings last year because of their memes and the iconic dododok... Everything went south and started hating on them now when Perfect Night basically cockblocks every idol group songs in charts since november last year, this includes IVE Baddie+All Night, Aespa Drama and bunch of BG songs.. The haters are waiting to pounce on them when their guard is down and it happens big time during coachella..
People can't any criticism nowadays without people just finding the bad in everything. I mean Sakura addressed the criticisms and while that is good, it's also worthwhile to note that they should've looked at what they could've done better as well. There is no such thing as perfection in this world and KPop Idols aren't exempt from it

I'm a casual listener but le sserafim's hate is just unreal. Even singing while dancing normally is just incredibly hard to do. I think that we have so many instances of "live-singing" videos that are pitch-corrected or people are lip syncing that fans really have no idea what normal vocals sound like (while moving so much). Yes, they are idols but they are also human. It is amazing if they have the stamina and breath support to perform so well but asking them to do so much choreo and sing .... it's understandable to me. I would also apply this to western singers as well. If people wanted perfect vocals so much, they would not prioritize dancing so much in the kpop industry.....
I always find these hot 100 rankings shifty. Especially with Hybe. Since 2016 I’ve felt they’ve been paying their way onto these charts… their artists are strangely focused on it 🤨
People should calm down about Le Sserafim, it was nearly fully live and they hit 90+% of their notes. I am not able to point out a lot of other kpop groups that sang this level of live. Live is supposed to sound different than a studio recording. They hyped the crowed well, aspecially Sakura was doing so well! Calling them out for something that very little people are able to do, is disrepectful to all their hard work (and this applies not just for Le Sserafim but a lot of other kpop groups and situations as well).
I didn't watch all of their Coachella performance, but I knew they'd get hate no matter how they did just based on comments I was reading leading up to the event. People were hating weeks before they got on the stage! Honestly, they do have room for improvement, but so do all the other girl groups who debuted around the same time. That's what bothers me the most, the way fandoms defend their favs and tear down everyone else.
Some ppl debating saying the fansite or person who took the photo shouldn't have released this particular moment of the guys. I'm not seeing it being shared around too much either, so I wanted to blur it out of respect. Hope that makes sense!

What she said there actually reminds me of when I was at a really low point, comparing myself to others, and I asked someone in a livestream how I can stop comparing myself to others. That’s what related so much to her words! I’m very hard on myself. I rarely praise myself and mostly focus on the negatives and what I could have done better. I’m trying to be better at that and not expect perfection because I’m human. I will make mistakes. But I will also do amazing work and should be proud of that work. Even when I don’t amazing, just being able to say “No matter what anyone says I did my absolutely best and I’m proud of myself. I can’t wait to get even better” is a mindset I aim to have.

The line between criticism and hate is really thin sometimes.
Hybe and most of their groups (except for some before their acquisition) always focus mainly on stage presence. YG for rap and SM for vocals. ofc that isn't the case but my point is le sserafim aren't just singers, they're performers (idols) at a "singers" festival. The criticism should only be for the festival that they're at and what regard that holds. Coachella is no joke and I'm happy for the girls, but like, you gotta put in the effort and be able to sing and sustain notes while dancing, it's just part of an idol life. they've debuted for 2 years and at Coachella but not singing well live. aespa performed at Coachella 2 years after debut and the crowd size was small but they left an impression and turned heads. Their live singing wasn't perfect at all, but compared to le sserafim, they sing more vocally demanding songs and better while also live. The vocal criticism makes sense but hate isn't needed here or anytime.

Idk, I feel like this comment isn't fair. Lesserafim has some amazing vocalists, Yunjin & Chaewon are pretty impressive and have been able to sing live VERY WELL before. I mean, if you watched Produce48, you'd know that Yunjin has amazing stamina. As for Kazuha/Eunchae, I do agree THEY weren't ready): There is still a lot of room for improvement in regards to them. Lastly, Sakura did amazing at Coachella, her vocals aren't top tier but she held her own and somewhat carried the stabilization along with Chaewon. Sakura has always been a pretty good performer though. I think it's unfair to claim they haven't put in enough effort when they clearly put on an amazing performance and many attendees agreed with that. Vocals aren't the end all be all of Coachella. You're REALLY overestimating Coachella as a festival haha... Yes, people go for music, but they also go for performances and literally to just have fun and vibe. A lot of western artists that attend focus more on performance rather than vocals, but I don't see anyone calling them out. In fact, I watched most performances that weekend and tbh Lesserafim was on par with many of the western performers as well.
For example, I was excited to see Lana Del Rey's set as she's my favorite, but her vocals were pretty iffy the entire set. I didn't really care though because the passion was still there & the performance aspect made up for it. Singers don't always have perfect days and I think that's what makes LIVE PERFORMANCES so fun and entertaining. They're real. Just because you mess up a few times does not make you bad, undeserving or "lacking effort". I know your comment isn't meant as hate but I think your argument is unfair in the grand scheme of things.

I’m proud of Le Sserafirm. They had great presence. They looked like they had fun and a great time with the crowd. I also saw examples of both good and not so great vocals, but I think that’s what happens when you sing live. It won’t always be perfect. They have room to grow. They’re a young group. But I’m so proud of them and excited to see more from them.
Also extremely proud of Ateez. I was so so gagged. They did phenomenal. I cried just thinking about how hard they worked to get this point. Which is weird to cry over a group I’ll never meet. But I just felt really really proud and happy for them ❤❤

I wish the video touched more upon the praise ATEEZ received for their performance. As a small agency group, its a huge achievement. Its sad their excellent performance got completely overshadowed by the hate Le Serrafim has been receiving. It just seems as if ATEEZ's performance is an afterthought- with this channel too :(

Yes, the Le sseraphim stage performance and stage presence was great, but the vocals was not very good, though. Raw vocals actually are not supposed to sound like that, the tones were off and unstable. I don't think it's the girls'fault=> Hybe-Source music should really focus on their idol's vocal stability and make sure their voice/throat is not strained.

I am pretty old school and it shows in my age I'm 33 but as a long time kpop fan I still prefer idols who have a good vocal foundation. I'm not shitting on le sserafim tho it's not their fault their vocals are over produced in the final version of the album but the ones managing them don't think how it will sound live. Hyunjin has a pretty good grasp of her vocals and even Sakura has improved. Excitement changes your voice, nervousness affects your voice and they had all of those going against them. Their vocal coaches could have given them vocal drills and not allow them to close up their vocal chords by drinking just the right temp of water or beverage. These girls were probably trained vocally but technical and things you can't control like emotions also come into play. They should not overproduce vocals through pitch correction softwares and just them sing in their comfortable pitch also give them instructions on how to maintain their vocal chords. They have lovely voices just needed to learn technique.

I'm sorry but as a FEARNOT, I'm disappointed in Le Sserafim. It's embarrassing to be their fan when people can easily disprove us with these events and fumbles. I don't think they understand the disappoint for fabs and for them to say "this was our best performance" or "we did our best" makes me upset because they are better than this, I believe they can be better but if they want to say this is their best, it sells themselves short and makes me not want to lookout for them and their improvement.

For the people that aren't aware of how dangerous baseball can be, there is a reason athletes wear helmets when playing a game. I am very thankful that Chowon was able to wake up. Kpop Junkee could be reporting a completely different story right now. Also, do not be surprised if we don't see her for a while. When it comes to head injuries, especially concussions where a person fully loses consciousness for a while, doctors still don't quite know the all the effects it can have, not to mention that everyone is different. We might not see Chowon for at least 6 months, if not longer. We also might see her back and fully healed in a few months.
Anytime you hit your head or have something hit you in the head can be incredibly dangerous even if you feel ok at the time you should always see a doctor. People have died from such things. Lets hope she makes a full recovery. There were also the usual idiots saying it wasn't that bad and was a publicity stunt, words fail me sometimes.

Something that I realized from watching LSRFM performance they really don’t have a strong discography. Out of all the songs they released they only performed the ones that Hybe heavily promoted. The other artist that are doing their own sets are performing all their songs( at least 2 full albums worth) including all the b-sides making it about an hour length show.With this being the second week at Coachella I guarantee people are expecting something different. I just hope the girls are prepared better than last week.
They are only given 40 minutes to perform, that's not something they have control over, it's not a lsf concert, it's a festival that's extremely dependant on the preformers staying on time. They want ppl to be able to sing along so it makes sense they perform the most known songs. Not having a strong discography is a personal opinion, everyone lucky enough to watch live seemed happy with what they got

I'm a casual listener but le sserafim's hate is just unreal. Even singing while dancing normally is just incredibly hard to do. I think that we have so many instances of "live-singing" videos that are pitch-corrected or people are lip syncing that fans really have no idea what normal vocals sound like (while moving so much). Yes, they are idols but they are also human. It is amazing if they have the stamina and breath support to perform so well but asking them to do so much choreo and sing .... it's understandable to me. I would also apply this to western singers as well. If people wanted perfect vocals so much, they would not prioritize dancing so much in the kpop industry.....

People should calm down about Le Sserafim, it was nearly fully live and they hit 90+% of their notes. I am not able to point out a lot of other kpop groups that sang this level of live. Live is supposed to sound different than a studio recording. They hyped the crowed well, aspecially Sakura was doing so well! Calling them out for something that very little people are able to do, is disrepectful to all their hard work (and this applies not just for Le Sserafim but a lot of other kpop groups and situations as well).
I didn't watch all of their Coachella performance, but I knew they'd get hate no matter how they did just based on comments I was reading leading up to the event. People were hating weeks before they got on the stage!
Honestly, they do have room for improvement, but so do all the other girl groups who debuted around the same time. That's what bothers me the most, the way fandoms defend their favs and tear down everyone else.
