may have missed it during the build videos but the kitchen worktop has such a shiny surface. Is it a two mix epoxy ?

Yep, it’s an epoxy pour on the counters! Got busy during the final part of the build and didn’t take much video... sorry!

Nice to enjoy the van after so much hard work! I forgot do you have a way to heat the water for a shower? Is there a grey water tank to hold sink and shower water?

Yes and mostly yes.... we have a 120v electric water heater and a 5-gallon grey water for the sink - the shower drains directly out

Van is Siena’s, we just needed to take it for a road test to make sure all the systems worked... and to enjoy a bit of all that hard work we put into it! 😉

Hey kids, long time since I've check up on your life and I can see that you have become "land-locked" for awhile! Sounds like you still own Makara? Your van has what engine in it and is it four wheel drive?

We are actually back on the water now!!! 😬 Just catching up on sharing our adventures over the summer - the boat vids will be back in just a couple of episodes 😎👍 The van is a gasoline engine- we would have loved diesel, but it’s not our van, so we’ll take we can get I guess. It is front wheel drive

@@AdventureAdriftSailing I had to watch the gas fill-up scene a few times to be sure it was gasoline not diesel.
I'm still seeing diesel more expensive than gasoline. Sure it has ~10% more energy but oil and tire expenses are noticeably higher. If you don't plan to tow more than a couple thousand pounds, I think gasoline might be better.

We would have loved to take her for the trial run, but only 2 sears in the van! 🤷‍♀️ Plus, it was time for her to head back to school..
