Really loved your analysis, very helpful for students that don't do video editing and just use it for study/entertainment. btw do you know where I can buy the m2 mac?
It will be supported at least next 4 iterations of Mac OS. Depending on use case scenario, the 8GB will be okay for daily usage by average people like us. I also wished it came with at least 12 GB memory BUT this is what it is. I’ve been rendering 8-10 mins 4K videos on my 13” M2 MBA (8GB / 256GB) without hiccups
@cortexpc4288 I work a professional job in IT. Everyone from the office administration to C# developers has 16GB of RAM on their laptops where I work. The decision was made to switch everyone to 16GB of RAM because it reduced complaints of "laggy processing" or "laptop crashes" after 2 years of use. It also reduces the expenses of buying more SSD due to memory swap issues. Our ServiceNow now tickets are 50% less than they previously were before.
@@cortexpc4288exactly, I have a 8 GB air and it’s totally fine for casual freetime browsing, occasional photo editing and home office work. Ever had any issue. For more intense tasks howrver, more Ram is needed.
For the same pricetag, the regular consumer is better to buy the M2 MacBook Air and upgrade to 16 GB of united memory. The only thing that can make a difference with the M3 Pro chip is when you are doing video editing because the M3 CPU will improve your performances. But for regular office tasks, as a student or simply for internet browsing, you're better off with extra united memory for the same price.
I dont have any laptop, im going to the Uni in few months and I think i should get the pro 16 inch rather than 14 inch. What do you think. Is it worth spending money on the 16 inch rather than 14?
Thats the biggest prob with the m3 range, pushing buyers to upgrade n upgrade. The corporate greed is too much.

Nice video!
Appreciate it❤️
Me waiting for that witty smile at the end 😅😅
😂😂😂
8GB of RAM is a joke. The M3 Pro MacBook Pro is the real deal with a minimum of 16GB of RAM.
18gb *
