    While I’m fairly new to smoking, I’ve been barbecuing pork loins for about twenty five years and we found many years ago that we actually prefer to leave the fat on, we believe it makes them more flavorful and juicy.

    I’ve been cooking pork for years and was always afraid of going under cooking it. 145 is a fantastic temperature.
    Super tender and not at all dry.

    This recipe rocks!, those look amazing. Pork tenderloins are very underrated, they are incredibly soft and delicious. Even without rub and sauce.. Only salt, pepper and smoke would taste delicious too.

    Thanks for this video.. We do this tenderloin with Char Siu Chinese Barbecue Sauce... What we don't eat after the cook we then chop it up, vacuum seal it, and freeze it for pork fried rice at another meal.

    I like to use Kraft original BBQ sauce that I mix with some Jack Daniels. Do't need a lot of Jack, just enough for that smokey JD flavour to come through

    Hi Susie, my wife and I bought a used charbroil electric smoker on Friday and we did this recipe and invited another couple over for the dinner and they were amazing and looked like yours. They were so juicy and tender. Thanks for the wonderful directions. In fact we are trying your chicken thighs tonite.😊

    I have a Weber grill. It has an indirect heat function and I have successfully smoked ribs several times over.
    Would the cook time be the same (an hour) even though my Weber isn’t technically a smoker. Thanks!

    • @Heygrillhey
      @Heygrillhey  Рік тому +1

      Yep! It’ll be about the same. Each piece of meat cooks differently though, so give yourself some extra time and use a thermometer to determine doneness.

    Why do other videos and websites say to smoke it for 2-3 hours at 225° and you cook it for 1?

    • @Heygrillhey
      @Heygrillhey  2 роки тому +1

      It really depends on the meat. Each cut is a little different, and they'll cook a little different each time. These were done in around an hour, but I've also had similar sized tenderloins take 2 hours.

  • @MrGuardian1816

    Looked amazing and probably tasted great too, but im no chef so making correct adjustments on the fly is rough for me. I smoked these as she did for a while and my $1,000 Traeger told me the temp reach 140 so I went out and glazed them....while I was there I wanted to try my new insta read thermapen and it gave me a temp 30 degrees lower than the grill. I dont expect these things to be exactly the same even though it would be nice. After messing with them for a while I ended up with jerky (exaggeration) that im still not sure is safe to eat LOL Either way I threw these out. This is no reflection of this lady im sure hers turned out swell.
