Crazy how often the best advice for getting better at a thing does not involve the thing itself, but the mindset and habit forming required. Thanks for the little bit of extra motivation (that I'll try not to tap in to too frequently)
What are some forehand focuses? I'm a forehand dominant player but not sure what to focus on for that category. Putting I'm working on following through and backhand I am focusing on my reach back. Thanks!
@@discgolfdadddy for forehands #1 priority is getting a clean release which is a combination of the right grip and a snappy wrist. A good drill is to spin the disc using only your wrist and tweaking the grip until you're throwing with zero wobble. Then gradually add in a small reach back and then a further back reach back until you get a full throw. If your form is good already then you can work on mastering different release angles and shot shapes, adding more to your toolbox.
