Sir, you made this easier.. however I have a question @22:13 in the third iteration, why yk+1 is still 7 not decremented to 6? Because I think when pk is positive we increment x by 1 and decrement y by 1. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

hi vasu if you start calculating the points from third quadrant, clock-wise then initial point will be (0,-8) and always X moves in unit interval and Y coordinate to be selected, here next Y coordinate may be Yk or Yk+1. where in quadrant-1 the Y coordinate may be Yk or Yk-1. hope your doubt have been clarified ..
hi rajan here decision parameter says which point should be selected either previous point or next point(unit interval) this will be done to avoid the rounding functions which we are doing in DDA algorithm. Here point represents the pixel so we have to stay back wiith previous pixel or move on to next pixel. hope your doubt has been clarified.
Hi Rajan plz make a selfie video with your feedback on my UA-cam channel and send to my WhatsApp number 9885466061 expecting feedback from you soon. Thanks for watching my sessions.
Sir is midpoint algorithm an integer based algorithm? As we see in initial decision parameter of midpoint circle algorithm there is a term having 5/4-R, similarly also in the ellipse algorithm there is a term having 1/4 in the initial decision parameter.
Sir. Definitely appreciated your work and affort ..This might be useful for your own class ongoing batch students because they needs your flow .For general learner UA-cam has great lectures by great people. Kindly use your positive energy on something new rather doing the same.

find the points in 5 octet by considering center as origin so your first point will be (0,5) after getting all points in circle then TRANSLATE all points to (1,1) here translation parameters are tx=1, ty=1.
HI VIEWERS A SMALL CORRECTION
IN THE QUADRANT 3 & QUADRANT 4 THE FIRST POINT IS (0,-8).
I HAVE WRITTEN WRONG AS (0,8). PLEASE NOTICE THE CORRECTION.

sir! in 3rd octant, moving clockwise which coordinate will be moving in unit interval? considering derivation should start from 3rd octant.
hi vasu
if you start calculating the points from third quadrant, clock-wise then initial point will be (0,-8) and always X moves in unit interval and Y coordinate to be selected, here next Y coordinate may be Yk or Yk+1. where in quadrant-1 the Y coordinate may be Yk or Yk-1.
hope your doubt have been clarified ..
thank a lot sir for your videos and for the answer. i got it!
Why we are applying the mid point to the circle equation??
What actually the decision parameters value tells ??
hi rajan
here decision parameter says which point should be selected either previous point or next point(unit interval) this will be done to avoid the rounding functions which we are doing in DDA algorithm.
Here point represents the pixel so we have to stay back wiith previous pixel or move on to next pixel.
hope your doubt has been clarified.

mid point circle and bresenham's circle algorithms are same.
oh...ok..😊thanku so much..n thanx for all these useful videos.
It's a very good lecture. .. I really appreciate it .. but please fix your board and buy the best marker pen.
if we try to calculate the points in 2nd octant using the formula derived will the points will be valid?
Sir, you explained really well, but at last when you were writing points of quadrants you interchanged the 2nd with 4th quadrant. i think points of 2nd quadrant will be in 4th and 4th in 2nd quad.

you are great sir
Thank you sir😊😊
hi raj
thanks for your interest towards our channel and share my sessions with
your friends and subscribe to our channel.Keep following our channel.
Thank you so much 💖 Sir
can you explain that how can i find out the decision parameter for 5th octant??
hi gardon
need not find the decision parameter in all octants just find the points in first octant and just write down all the coordinates in remaining octants because of symmetric property of a circle that mean in any octant radius will be same. End condition where we have to stop the octant-1 is X >= Y. If the following condition satisfies just stop the procedure and assume all the remaining coordinates for remaining octants.
hope your doubt has been clarified.
great video! but why the first value of Q3 (0,8) and Q4(0,8)?
shouldnt it be (0, -8)?
hi nafeez thanks for your observation. in Q4 and Q3 it will be (0,-8).
you are correct.
sir appreciate your work, but you should put a pin in your video to show the correct values.
Sir I have a doubt!!!
The midpt abt wch we are discussing.. Is that the center of the entire circle tor the point which divides quadrant 1 and quadrant 2?? Sir expecting ur reply as soon as possible
hi Ajay
your are correct that the center of the entire circle is the point which divides quadrant 1 and 2.
If there are given radius 8 and origin (3,4) how i solve ??
hi sandip
first calculate all the points with respect to origin with radius 8.
Finally add (3,4) to all the points.
can u plz tell me what will be the method in other octents??
its because of symmetry property of circle. what ever the octant is the radius is same. so the points will be just inversed. After calculating 2 octants we can follow the quadrants rule for remaining.
hope your doubt has been clarified.
Tq sir🤗
Sundeep, I think you have not uploaded bresenhams circle derivation; if you could please do that immediately; thanks in advance
Sir you have explained very well
But I wanna tell you something if you don't mind
Please take a big board sir

Can you please mention the book you are following?
if (1,1) and radius 8 and find out 5 octet how i solve? just tell me what i do with (1,1 )
find the points in 5 octet by considering center as origin so your first point will be (0,5) after getting all points in circle then TRANSLATE all points to (1,1) here translation parameters are tx=1, ty=1.
thank you so much sir.......!
can you please share Bresenham's circle drawing algorithm
