55593577 and 55563645 are 2 part numbers listed for the 2012 cruze slave cylinder. I just ordered both because of so much incorrect information. I finally just had a gm dealer tell me "3577" number is the revised newer 2nd design for the 228mm setup, says so right in the comments on my screen from GM. I ordered the 228 kit PN 19303797. I can't believe I'm dumping a grand into a car worth 4 grand. Last 6 speed front wheel drive car I'll own.
2013. Have the six speed manual. This is a dual-clutch system for the six speed. Clutch went bad, at first reverse was hard to engage, quick degraded so I could not get into any gear, mechanic found almost no wear on clutch plates. Dual clutch system cost $700-1000. Clutch job $1,700, from a reasonably priced shop.
My clutch just went out on my 2011 1.8 eco with 40K. What company and parts did you go with? My mechanic wants me to get a stage 2? I dont ever want to replace this again! From looking at your parts I guess i need a flywheel, clutch, and slave.
Yours issues are almost identical to mine! Flywheel traveling 13 teeth, not so much the wobble, and my throwout didn't explode but... Holy terrible system! What did you replace with? I went with LUK DMF 133 and the 04-267 clutch kit...
Those are the same parts I got for my 13. Have you put them in yet and are they holding up? I haven't had mine done yet. I"ve got a little bit of chattering going on and feels like it bounces a little when I shift sometimes.
I rolled my car used off the lot at less than 9k with that same kinda chatter doing on. Now I'm at 82k and my slave cylinder has been getting worse and worse. It's to the point I dont really have a choice. Gotta do it now.
Hello, guys! Please, if it is not difficult try to help me with a question that annoys me a lot! Chevrolet Cruze 2012 , 1.8 manual transmission 6speed clutch kit is what diameter ?? Can you answer me?
Hey I have a 2014 cruze ls and was wondering if you had two different clutch options for it? Apparently there's a 9in and a 8 5/8 in clutch. I need to know for mine
I had this problem too... I ended up getting the LUK DMF 133 AND the Luk 04-267 clutch kit... It's apparently the model ment for the sonic but it for my 11/2013 Cruze(branded as a 2014)... That will be the biggest issue you have... Apparently they changed the design halfway through the year
Good video my freind.. I have the same car cruze 1.8 manuelle gearbox , i have problème When the car Rise of the Highlands it loses Power. I want to know why please. Thank's
I've got the same car but I don't think my flywheel is broken. It can idle in any gear without the clutch pressed in so I'm pretty sure i just need to change the clutch kit and slave and I should be good. but I have questions about the process you took to get in there. I'm going to start working on my car Saturday or Sunday if you could hit me up that would be awesome. I'm mostly worried about tools and access points
Brake fluid master cylinder is shared with the clutch on this vehicle. If you look just about your tranny kinda coming out of the motor a little bit there is a black bleeder that's plastic. The part reads "difficult to bleed" it does take a while.
Just did my girlfriend's car at work. 2012 1.8, same god damned issue. She has 32k on it! I paid for full warranty until 75km miles, but their said "no clutches". I told them about this slave issue and they boned me, said "Nope, clutch. Wear issues." I have Chevy. Then again, she bought a cheap car.
Yes... I tried to deny it, but it really wasn't difficult just ratchet strap your rad to the grille because the sub fram is the only thing holding it in place

@@oo3rex it's holding up..doesn't feel great after 4 months..but the harder part is finding BOT 303 Gear oil... You will want 4L (1 Gal)...
It's already doing that back and forth shutter when I'm at very low speeds, (damper spring is wearing in)
I have a 2014 chevy cruze to change the slave cylinder do I have to open up the trans?
i thought you were going to show how to change the clutch

Hey man, how much did parts cost for replacing your clutch? I have a 2014 chevy Cruze with 33k miles & I'm have the same exact problems you're having!
Also it'd be great if you could let me know where you got the parts!
Divine Right my 2014 clutch just went out. I bought my clutch at Advanced Auto Parts for 300.

Like going up hill? You need to downshift.
My clutch is slipping so going up hill is a nightmare.
I beat it right! Lol 😂 hell yeah brotha!

What ended up solving your issue?
Do you know how to refill the fluid?? I have a dead pedal. I can't figure out how to bleed the system or refill it.

what size led bar u got on the cruze bro.....
Is this easy to replace?
You would normally pull the engine/trans as an assembly. Some might not call it easy.
My DAD would Say, NAAA it wasn't your fault, It was my fault WHO Drives It? No Big deal Clutches burn out
