Can I just say how remarkable the internet is? I'm in Wisconsin USA on Sunday morning, watching this wonderful video from Finland, and just received a msg from my grandson in London, with a couple dozen pics of what he saw yesterday at the British Museum.. What will tomorrow bring? Well he said he's visiting the Louvre in Paris, that's what! BTW, he's the proud owner of many crochet items from me❤
You are so right, internet has brough all sorts of things much closer! I'm in Finland today but soon going for an extended time in Gran Canaria and will continue working normally from there! I love both London and Paris 💙💜💗, have been in both lots of times!
Wow, I have crochet for over fifty years and wow, who would think there was so much more to learn, being in my seventies and wanting to make so many more projects, I need lots more healthy years, lol! Thank You so much for these great ways to crochet, I love them all, but more then one, two rows at a time is amazing. This will be my “to go to” video. Thanks from the bottom of my ❤ heart. Love the whole video🎉 The Icord, more rows at one time will used plenty, love all the rest as well
I love the method of tripling the weight of your yarn! I already knew your method for making an icord, but it really helped to have the guideline of “triple the desired length.” Thanks!
I think that this is the most helpful video I have ever watched!🤩 Never had so many valuable techniques in one session. Thank you for taking the time to group them together. I am saving this video to make it even easier to find the information when I need it 🥰
Okay, I LOVE learning how to make different colored bobbles! But that I-cord! That’s a game changer! I knit, too, and I think knitted i-cord is fun and easy, but the technique you showed is like magic. I’m never going back. I’ll be using your technique from now on. Thanks for the brilliant tips, Tuula!
I really like the bubble stitch! I make lots of baby blankets and those will be so nice to coordinate with pink or blue bubbles on a white blanket. Thank you for sharing these tips with us!
This video format experiment must've been successful because I'm enjoying your channel for the first time because of it!❤ Thank you for your clear and easy to understand instructions, and your lovely calming voice. I look forward to browsing the rest of your videos to see what else you will teach me. Big hugs to you from Ontario Canada! ❤🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it! This video is doing far better than I expected, it keeps getting several thousand views every day! So it will be worth making others like ti!
I love this video! Thank you ❤ I have never been able to figure out the magic loop until now, so I guess that is #1 for me. I look forward to using the other stitches. You are an excellent teacher.
TUULA!!! THANK YOU!!! I use your method of joining the yarns already & I swear I've seen a hundred ways to do the magic ring & after all the years I've tried, it just wasn't working for me no matter how I tried it. Your magic ring version is so easy to do and there are no complicated uses of other fingers & parts of your hand!!! Thanks for this compilation - the mini bean is a new one I'm going to do a scarf with!! 🥳🥰
Tuula Maaria, Thank you for your instruction and teaching methods. I enjoy your channel. Your tutorials have helped me grow my crochet skills so much. Your smile warms my heart. The best to you always
🎉your amazing !! Thank you , I’ve been crocheting 45 years , memories with grandma, she could read “old” books and just make it ! Played the guitar by ear , but don’t ask her to pump gas or knowledge of what we are forced to know as modern world.this is not a put down , but information that if you put your mind to what you love , the sky is the limit ! Crochet on ! So long gram , save me a seat in heaven xo
Greetings from South Africa. Doing crochet for 55 years but learning new things from you. I love the tripling of the yarn and the 2 row mesh stitch. You are awesome 👌 God bless 🙌
You are the first person that has took the time to show us how to do these things I can't thank you enough I look forward to watching more of your shows
Want to let u know, u are such a wonderful person. I love watching all your videos. Myself trying to get back into crochet after 30 years. Starting slow n steady n from scratch n your videos help alot. Thank you very much.
I really do enjoy your tutorials, but your voice too! I seem to be able to listen to you moreso than other tutorials. I have ADHD so it means a lot to me to be able to actually listen carefully to a person regularly. Thank you so much.
Hi I am enjoying how you teach. It is so much easier than I have seen many UA-camrs crocheting. Thank you so much. I am an advance crocheter , but I’m learning so much more from you. It is beautiful thank you I love it. From Florida USA
I have already selected the videos that go for the next one, will publish that one in the next month. And this coming Sunday's video is super long but it is different, a step-by-step tutorial for crocheting a cardigan to your own measurements.

Millionen of thanks and healt für you i' ll never forget you😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I learned so many new things from this video! Thank you so much!! I subscribed to your channel and now I'm going to binge watch every single one of them 🥰The one I loved the most was the very first one on this video. I am attemptemping my first sweater, and I was going through my yarn stash saying to myself "I don't have a single skein of chunky yarn that I can use for a sweater!" So hesitantly, I started the pattern with a worsted weight yarn, and I like the look, however, the reason I haven't done a sweater yet is because I lose interest on my projects fast. If it takes too long, I put it away and start something else, never to pick it up again. So after about 20 rows of my sweater, I put it away and wanted to start something new! Until I saw your video! It broadened my horizons and I don't even have to go buy new yarn, I can just triple the ones I'm using. It makes the project go so much faster! I think I might just be able to finish a sweater at this speed! You are a true GENIUS my friend!! And my personal new HERO!! Lol. Thank you again. i will be looking for new videos from you.
Great video! Honestly, I didn’t want this video to end! You are a wonderful teacher! You speak clearly and go just the right speed to follow you. Also you explain the process very well. I really appreciate the time that you give us. Your instructions are always most interesting and helpful. Thank you. Hugs ❤️
dear kat9446 I completely agree. Tuula is a very very gifted teacher...outstanding to others here on YT...There are a lot of gifted people out there who show what they can do...but somehow they cannot TEACH as well as Tuula does honestly..I , like you Kat9446, did not want this video to end either... ;)... love from Germany :)
Thank you for all of your help and tutorial it's been very helpful I would like to try all these techniques on other crocheting items thank you once again
Thank you from South Africa, I have been crocheting for 70 years and now I’m learning new and exciting things! Thank you for your clear instructions and demonstrations😊🌸
You truly are "BRILLIANT"...THANK YOU !!!!! I have learned so much from you....there have been times that my head would spin from your cleverness....AMAZING...
Wonderful. You are a very good teacher, very clear instruction. I’m a long time knitter, over 70 years, but I know I would be able to crochet by following your lessons. Thank you.
Great video. I have used your video about bulking up my yarn. I also learned the magic ring from your video. Now I've learned even more tricks. Thank you for your helpful videos.
Glad you like it! Maybe I will make a video of it one day, many people have mentioend it! It is my design that was published in Simply Crochet magazine about 3 years ago and is now available in my Etsy and Ravelry shops.
Wow! I enjoyed your tutorial. I know how to do some of the stitches but not all of them. I have been teaching myself to crochet. I have made granny squares for afghans for my grandchildren.
Dear Tuula Maaria, I am so 6:04 thankful for your tutorials! After taking painting lessons, sewing lessons, making dollhouses, I am very excited to begin my journey in crochet. Thank you very much for sharing your talent with your followers! I wish I had begun this years ago, and am trying to "gentle" my granddaughter in developing an interest in this art!! 5:03
I’m going to use this video to re learn how to hold my hook so I can have some control. You make it look so easy. It’s like you were born with a hook in your hand. Thank you so much .
Tuula thank you so much these tips are remarkable. I am learning so much from you since I am new to crochet. I appreciate you. Have a blessed safe week ❤💐🙏
All the videos are valuable to me. I think tripling the thickness of the working yarn is brilliant. Joining granny squares while finishing the last row is neat and tidy and save so much time because there are not do many ends to weave in. But as I said they are all fantastic. Thank you Tuula❤
I can't pick just one that is the most useful as i think they are all useful for me. But the one i want to try is the 2 and 3 row mess. That one is fascinating to me.
You've no idea how many tries I've done & failed with the magic ring, until your tutorial!! I really liked all of these they're so useful & well done. But the bobbles are my favorite! Now I've so many ideas for what to do with them! ❤ Thank you!!

Wonderful, welcome Becky, so glad you found my channel! Sounds lovely that the video feels like a friend sitting with you 💜💗 Hope you will enjoy my future videos too, greetings from Gran Canaria where I am, wanting to escape the Finnish winter!
Amazing video! Already, I have made one scarf by using your triple row increase and also made a basket by taking 3 yarns at a time! It is beautiful! And you teach very slowly and clearly, so I like to crochet by following your videos!!❤ Thank you thank you so much for this combined video. Now, I will make a project by using bobble stitch! ❤😊❤😊❤😊
Thank you so much for putting these GREAT tips in one spot. I’ve seen various ways to join yarns, but this is one I’m going to actually use - it’s so easy. Genius idea. I love the magic circle and painstakingly learned a complicated version of it; then was relieved to find an easier version - but this way is even easier. Yay! And thank you!! Ditto for the other great tips. You’re a treasure, Tuula Maaria.
What a lovely, clear and concise video you have presented which has been a great help to me which was just in time as I have thin yarn and need to double it. Thank you.
