Quiveer I feel like every video I watch there always these high numbers of gcs in the comments wen in reality GCs literslly couldnt even tell you the name of like 3 UA-cam or streamers for rl that aren’t also pros.
Maybe 2% of UA-cam content is applicable to GCs and that content gets very little views or interest bc it’s not at all entertaining and very complex several layers beyond what an average player realizes there even is.
      Yes this
      Game has a deep
      Wormhole.
My point is that I doubt like every gc I don’t know is flocking to every UA-cam video I watch to comment about how “they’re a gc but still good vid”
      Cool

Matt S never once did I say it didn’t help. From time to time I have a bad day and I actually go back to look at videos like these to help me understand what I’m doing wrong and then look back at my replays to understand my mistakes so I don’t make them again in future games.

Yo. I’m 1820 GC and this is great to help lower rank players. You should also in another video show the effects of a near post rotation when ur teammate is on the back post. This causes team bumps, loss of boost management, double diving, and also clearing it across the center of gol, which can lead to the opposition scoring. This will give players an even better perspective on why back post rotations is critical. Excellent job on describing back post rotations to help players.

Wow I had no idea that this was how you rotate back post, other videos basically stated to enter from the back post and tada, yet my defense was still lacking. This was a great detailed video and I’m so excited to see more videos

I'm a 1750 to 1800 player in 3s, (thats mid-highish GC for you lower ranked players) and I found this incredibly helpful lol. Obviously I know about backpost rotation and I know making yourself available for a pass on defence is important but I didn't realise the two were connected and this really helped me in the 5 games I played after watching this. Timing is very important and its very easy to accidentally creep forward out of the backpost position if it looks like you have an opportunity to push up soon and you arent expressly thinking about it, its the same with making yourself available for a pass out of defence.

Very nicely done man. Clear and easy to understand, also funny and not dull. I'm C2 and I learned from this. New favorite RL UA-camr I think 👌

So I've recently got GC and I'm more of a defensive player anyway. I was watching this video because my old club members sent it in the group chat and I'm going to start referring to this video when I'm teaching them what I'm doing. Honestly this was the best way to explain it that I couldn't think of by myself. Gj bro.

This is still very helpful for a gc player. We all miss or go out of rotation. It’s always good for a refresher. And to the lower ranks just keep grinding. Great video nonetheless

This is good. Definitely need more videos explaining this kinda stuff. You should make one on how and when to share the ball. How to keep proper presser on the other team. Stuff like that.

I’ve been playing for a while but definitely find myself out of place more often than I should be, this is a great example for people that need some discipline on goal rotations

I really like this video because it gives a lot of useful information and with very nice editing that helps a lot. My only slight problem with it is that both video examples of good rotations in-game are the advanced version with passing play
I was looking for something like this to show my gold/plat friends who are getting into the game and still learning it, and reaaaally don't want them to start thinking it's okay to ignore this for the sake of passing right now 😅

With the new free play stuff, I've come up with a little game. Every 5 seconds, you press the Defend Shot button. Best if you press on 0, and count out loud 1,2,3,4,5, 0. Your goal is to save as many as possible, grabbing what boost you can, and keeping back post so you can react to the shot. Also tests your clears/recoveries, since if you don't get good ones, you're left saving a close and difficult shot. Obviously turn off unlmtd boost.
