- Although I was nervous, I think I did a pretty kick ass job. Here are some ideas for anyone else who is going to be a master of ceremonies. This is Chris and Tynas wedding from November 2012

I'm sorry but this is corny as hell. I'm here looking for jokes for a wedding reception but I can't use these
good for you for getting up their and doing it! would have been better without the corny jokes and drawing it out. if in doubt just stick to the JOB - be the MC and keep the show moving. the MC isn't the entertainment for the evening. that's the DJ and alcohol's job.
+riptide1111 - Is this all you do? Go onto videos of people giving wedding speeches to slander? It is not against the law for an MC to make a joke during their time speaking, and I feel that it is their job to aid in entertaining. Stop being a speech SNOB.

I saw riptide1111 leaving comments like that on several videos of people doing MC speeches and I had enough! LOL!
