It's interesting to me that you play in 4:3 and no extended draw distance. Do you actually prefer it? 4:3 looks great on big CRT, but it looks crappy on my laptop
@@GeorgeTheBretonI've noticed that short draw distance looks okay during the nights, or in snow or dust storms. It's pretty immersive and you don't question that you don't see far

Yeah, it gives it that original ambience. Sometimes less is more. And I think it looks great on my lcd monitor.

Even during the day with clear weather, I think fog and ash pollution are a good enough reason for poor sight range.
