I stayed at the Encore for 1 week and I went to the buffet once for breakfast. I was travelling alone at the time and when I do so, I tend to not gorge. If I was accompanied I probably would have had more courses, like many more. I won't make that mistakke again. Your video made my mouth water. So yummy.. Going back with my daughter in a few weeks. Can't wait. Thank you for this video. You both did an excellent job. 🥰

The lobster claws can be tricky if they don’t thaw them correctly. There have been some times at the Bacchanal when they were watery and unpleasant. I’m glad they were good at the Wynn that day.

I agree with you: Nobody makes me peel my own shrimp. And that’s similar to the reason I usually avoid crab at the buffet: I don’t like cracking it and then fighting to get the shreds out. But those ones you ate here look maybe slightly perforated and pretty easy to get to the good stuff. I’ll give it a try!
I always feel like all you can eat unpeeled shrimp is such a tease. I agree with you, of the crab leg meat doesn’t slide out of the bone, I usually give up on it too.
I'm so good at cracking crab and lobster that it is no issue at all!!

I love going to the Wynn buffet. I love getting all the crab legs and lobster claws. Last time I went, I got 3 plate full of crab legs and lobster claws

I commented after your last video that you and Mrs. Explore Vegas hadn't had a good seafood buffet recently. You sure made up for that. I could tell just by the way the crab and lobster came out of the shell so cleanly that all that seafood was perfect freshness. Sometimes a great seafood buffet will skimp a bit on the carving station. This one didn't. I'm a carvery lover and there was a lot to love here. This buffet is a bit pricey for my budget, but if I was in Vegas and I walked out of a casino with more money than I had when I walked in, this would be the way I would want to put my winnings back into the Las Vegas economy.
You know us. We can’t stay away from the seafood for long. I agree with you. This buffet is the best of both worlds with the huge carving station.

I literally cannot stay away from buffet bread, pizza, and mac n cheese. Im so bad i know. It just always tastes soooo good to me😂 glad to see the prime rib is finally back. Last year we waited in line 2 hrs.....and no prime rib. I was so sad.
I’d be sad if they ran out of prime rib too! I’m scared if I eat the bread I’ll fill up to fast.

We went there in June, price was $69.99. Many people walked away. Selection was ok, nothing that I could not get at a different place for a lower price. We weren't there for the seafood. There's buffets you can get for much lower price and still get seafood.
For the $5 price increase, they added chilled lobster claws, seafood boil, and caviar. Pretty decent and no other buffet is currently serving caviar.
These dishes look fabulous!! However, at my age, it would not be worth it as I can't eat as much as I used to. I'd be lucky to have and finish one plate. My husband, on the other hand, probably could have eaten you under the table back in the day! He, however, has slowed down as well! Only three plates of crab legs these days! lol. Thanks for your reviews! Living vicariously through you two!!

My wife and I had the buffet there at the Wynn earlier this evening. Everything was good, but I was disappointed that they didn’t have the lobster claws as part of their $74.99 buffet tonight. I was looking forward after watching your video, but disappointed it wasn’t in the buffet tonight. 😢😢😢

We list the prices in all our videos. Nearly all of the buffets no longer offer discounts for seniors. I know Makino does though.

The buffet looks spectacular, nicely presented, and looks like the upkeep is on point... The caviar, I guess, is their signature (as I haven't seen it offered elsewhere)... Love the salmon roe... But at $75+, they are in the compete with Bacchanal buffet range, which has a HUGE selection... but is the caviar enough to tip the scales? I'll try anything once... but would be at the Palms AYCE for lobster night... lol
I can’t believe the Bacchanal just raised their price to $85. At least the Wynn added some nice options for the $5 increase. I hope the Bacchanal added something.

Is there a time limit on how long you can stay? That buffet is fantastic. The only problem I would have is figuring out what to leave out.

Yes, there is a 2 hour time limit so I recommend coming in an hour before dinner.

There is a 2 hour time limit and the Wynn has not announced any sort of end date for this new menu.

Better than Bacchanal imo. Wynn says 2 hour time limit but was not enforced when I was there for 3. Bacchanal kicked out another UA-camr at their 90 minutes.

I only eat the chilled crab legs if steamed crab is not offered. All the buffets should offer them steamed. I feel that was about the lobster too! Thank you for watching!
I think they’re both equally delicious. On a hot summer day some chilled crab legs with a sprinkle of salt and a squeeze of lemon is probably what I crave the most. I also like oysters both fresh and chilled on the half shell or grilled in the bbq with some melted cheese and bacon bits, even a prawn on top maybe

They have some pasta, but do not currently have a pasta section.
Looks at a very nice buffé, maybee a little short of seafood no oysters? miss a couple of caviar typer at the caviar buffe! Of course not the expensive typ Beluga etc! Slighty short on god fish like halibut and seabass etc Otherwise 74.99 Usd seems a fair price! Whats the time you have to eat on? 90 minuter, or? Not as strict about it. The time limit is 2 hours which better than the 90 minutes given at the Bacchanal.

have you been to the WEDS night $65 full lobster and tails at the AYCE opens at 2. If so how did you go about making sure you got in and paid. Soem say have to get there at 11, Casino opens at noon and can pay but then you have to stand in line after paying until 2?
We have been to the lobster buffet at the Palms. They now offer it on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-9pm, but both days are packed. It is mostly as you described to get in. my hubby is trying to find our final place to live when he retires for good. i would LOVE to live here but i did hear that the town is falling apart with crime, homeless and tents. is that true or is it pretty safe to live there?
Las Vegas has top notch neighborhoods and some not so good ones like anywhere else. Henderson, Summerlin & Mountain’s Edge are some of the best neighborhoods in alas Vegas. Houses are newer than most places, traffic is better than most places and I love that I don’t have to pay state taxes. If you take a trip here, you definitely should check some of these neighborhoods out.
