Thank you. There's more already published and a few other fantastic team bikes to talk about. Glad you like watching what Mark has to say. He's a good speaker, huh?
Really interesting to hear, Mark was an incredible rider on his day. Hopefully you can do more videos like this, no marketing wank, just honest opinions.
This is Pt2. There’s also the Look. And there are 2 more filmed with at least 5 more bikes awaiting anecdotes. Trust me, Mark gets into some great detail. He is so obliging and interesting, it’s a joy to edit. Stay tuned.
@@ride-media thanks Rob, really miss Ride magazine. You did great work there, I really appreciated the bike analysis, tear down and so on. Was ahead of it’s time. Thanks for your contribution to cycling, we’re a strange bunch! Mark has always been self effacing, even though he is a champion. Aussies huh!
Great video, very interesting to hear the comparisons all these years later. I had the same propel (lower spec) as my first road bike with those TRP hidden brakes, no wonder I hated descending all those years until finally upgrading!

The man responsible for so many of Mark Cavendish stage wins. Great lead out man 👍
Classic pic @5:44
Who is the dude in the green orange kit?
I've always wanted pro's to give honest opinions on their bikes, so I'm loving this series.
Thank you.

Were/are there upgrade options for those brakes? I really love the look despite the fuss

It is like they did poor brakes to make way for disc.
Specialized vias comes to mind as another example..
Just think of all that rubbing you missed out on the disc brakes Mark, #savetherimbrake
Pros still prefer tubular. Nuff said
