Trying to extend some rock to go in with my country in my music (Riverland Entertainment). It does not get any better than the Eagles and you make these lessons that take out the pain. Played Hotel California second time through and the same for Best Of My Love. Great job and thanks
When you do the hammer on you can can get a bigger sound by lift/hammer the index and middle finger at the same time on both the C anf F. I also think it's the actual Eagles approach as well.
Thanks for the lesson! I've always loved this song & your step by step is easy to follow . .if not so easy for this total novice to carry out! But you've given me a focus & something to work on. Thanks again.
Great lesson! Glenn Frey used a 12-string on the recording, making it sound like a few guitars playing. It gave it a full, richer sound with the extra notes. Beautiful tune!
I don't understand when you Google the chords for this, they show that after the C chord, instead of the Fm7, they have you going to a Dm. Doesn't fit, make sense but they all are like that
Hey Kevin! Just discovered you and I love your approach and delivery. This is a terrific video and thanks for sharing it. :) One small critique: at 4:18 where you said to go back to the Fmaj7, I'm not sure that's correct. There is definitely a G-note in the bass and I believe that is the root. I think the chord is probably a G7sus4, but with multiple guitars playing it's hard to say for certain. Regardless, I think a G-major triad is probably more appropriate there. Keep these coming, I just subscribed!
