- It's back! Back again! MG have commandeered the G50 nameplate and its better than before. Standard is a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine, but it is now mated to a wet DCT, which should be smoother than its predecessor. There are also changes to the interior which are nice and there is even a nice seven-seater option as well. What remained the same is rhe G50's affordable price point. Check it out in this Walkaround and do check out with AutoDeal.com.ph.

You wreck that car's door lol hahahahaha
I watched it twice to confirm.
yikes 😳😳 thats gotta be checked
where???
I noticed too😂
Before 30 secs? 😂😂😂
😂 akala ko ako lang nakapansin
That grille is huge but looks good, not cheap looking
Arnold is T-800, Robert Patrick is T-1000, the girl terminator Caco is referring, Kristianna Loken is the TX
That 179hp / 285nm is very fun in the highway with 6-7 friends
Hello sir Caco, ang gaganda ng mga review nyo ditalyado, kaya naman po gusto kong humingi ng advice kung ano ang pinaka the best mong nasubukan na sasakyan kasi we are planning to buy 7 seaters na sasakyan, sa lahat po ng nasubukan mo ano sa tingin mo ang the best para sa below 1.3M na price kahit anong brand basta sa tingin nyo is magandang pangpamilya hindi matagtatag, Thank you!!!
Xpander, Veloz, and Stargazer are on the same pricepoint. You should head to the dealerships and testdrive them to help you decide. If you just need a 7 seater with not much of the bells and whistles that come with these models, then consider the Avanza (800k) and the Ertiga (900k) that are priced below 1M.
Kung sa avanza xpander stargazer brv go for stargazer kung space ang paguuspan. Pero kung kakayanin nman go for innova.
Can you do a Comparo between GAC M6 Pro and MG G50 Plus. Thank you
Hey, caco, nice pair of kicks you have there 😊
please do a walk around or first impression of the MG7. it's already there and you're there so...easy peasy as you always say
To future car buyers,
MG, despite being a British brand, is owned by SAIC (a Chinese company).
Make do what you want with this information.
what are the main differences between the 7 and 8 seater aside from the 2nd row setup? Planning to go for the 8 seater for more practicality, but afraid that it would also have toned down features
Will you pick this over the Xpander, Stargazer or Veloz? Given that they are of the same price range.
Please do a review of the Jetour Dashing
Yes, same impression when I sat on the middle row "parang ang baba ng upuan ah?" was my comment dun sa agent.
Wala palang height adjustment ang captain seats
@@johnyonardpauly5601 I did not checked this kung meron or wala.
Did you break the door?
Based on the Maxus G50. SAIC borrowed the Maxus G50 and became an MG badge. The powertrain (1.5L) and transmission (7-speed DCT) is still the same. Sadly, no 6-speed manual.
There's a 6 speed manual transmission base version of the G50 Plus 😊
Maxus and GM is SAIC. You'll be surprised they even have a partnership with VW.
Maxus g50 was a Dry DCT while MG has wet DCT
The sound of the door hinge breaking haha
is that the one from Maxus before?
same observation, when I saw this, 1st thing that came to mind, Maxus G50. a rebrand?
probably MG and maxus are part of SAIC motors
Yes it is. They are both under SAIC group of companies
MAXUS IS STILL IN THE MARKET????
How about m6 pro?
Id like to see the review of that first car Caco
Why is this g50 from maxus transferred to mg is maxsus brand discontinued in the philippines
Both MG and Maxus are under SAIC. Hndi yata masyadong bumenta under Maxus badge so MG decided na irebadge
Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation
This one has an updated dct from maxus. Maxus had some dct issues before.
what are those issue?
What kind of services and which branches our qualified for the raffle?
MG RX9 at the beginning, when will it be unveiled here in PH? + and hmmm Maxus G50 and MG G50 same model since under one company SAIC..
RX9 is gonna be available within this year
MG G50 Plus uses a column type DCT shifter while the Maxus G50 uses a traditional shifter
It is sad that MG is no longer the classic car brand
0:21 what is that sound?
something broke typical of big C*ina cars, they flooded our philippine car market with uhm mehh cars yet they look down on us like bugs
Caco overpulled the door
It's just that the mg g50 plus houses a 1.5L turbo engine from totl down to the base model mt. Unlike maxus g50 that the base model has 1.3L turbo. I just hope though that the base model of mg g50 is well equipped coz maxus has only 2din.
Same still 2DN.. based from their brochure
what badge does it have before?
Maxus
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz cosplay next video? LOL
What model is that first car?
@johnmijan195. Maxus Mifa 9 full EV MPV luxury van
MG G50 Plus vs GAC M6 Pro please
Uppppppp
under din ata ng saic to. ayan na ayan ung model ng maxxus eg
cool!
the stock gear shift gave a tesla vibe
Wow, Largest 7 seaters at its pricepoint?
Bakit mo naman sinira yung pintuan sir caco?!? 🥺
Word for today 😂 yaya..Jack or Erl 😂😂😂sino sa kanila saka yung driver 😂
3:20 "Come, have a take a look."
"Charging port in the form of Type-C"
*shows Type-A port
1.5 Turbo with that big a body? This will suffer on uphill roads like the Hyundai Custin.
The old Hyundai Starex has less hp and less torque and heavier than this, yet has no issues going uphill.
Just know how to use the proper gears. The problem of the Custin is the lack of +/- on the transmission.
Enough power and torque, no worry
Just as radbasa, a 1.5 NA can carry 7 people uphill roads and in Baguio, how much more when you add a Turbo which gives alot of Torque at Lower RPM can do.
Not just because its not a Diesel Engine it will have hard time going uphill, Its still dependent on the driver. Just press hard on the pedal and don't be afraid to let the engine Rev high if needed. As long as the RPM is not on the Red Line, and for too long, your not gonna break the engine.
This model has more hp than your typical civic rs
@@bestarrflores3443Correct. So many complain about the small 1.5L turbo engine, not realizing these 1.5L turbo engines have more power and torque than the EK Civic SiR.
0:18 is that the brand new HS?
Same question, I think it is…Next week na global launch ng HS
Wuling cortez?
G50 Plus is based on the Maxus version
Nice🇸🇦
In here before people say the mandatory "Grille/rear looks like blah blah!"
Damn! How many Chinese knockoffs were spawned from one Toyota Alphard??
Looks exactly like the Maxus G50 (huh, same name too...) 🤔
Crazy affordable!! What?!
This was a Maxus G50, i owned one
How was it?
@@mmont8739 i have it for 3 years now. and zero issues. Didn't give me any problem.
22 second the door is damaged
Damn!! Thats affordable!
we all know the reason why. undercutting to sell
Maxus G50 rebrand?
G50 Plus uses a column type shifter
MG and Maxus are sister companies
I dont think there is type C port 😎
Lots of 5 year old MG ZS and MG5 vehicles still running sa Philippine roads
Matibay yan
@@KuchingKingVideoGamer nice!
@@johnyonardpauly5601nah small gasoline engine at turbocharged pa. Mabigat ang body at consider mo pa aerodynamic. The recipes for spending a lot on fuel. 8 persons with average weight of 60 kgs.
That kind of vehicle should have a diesel with a displacement of 2L at least
Torque is so important to move that vehicle initially
"and what not"
bakit parang parehas sila ng gac
GAC M6 Pro's 3rd row seats can be folded flat
0:21 you broke it
0:21 Oops.
That door sound 😬😬
"Everything else is fiveee" 😆🤣
You're so funny Caco 🤭
0:20 may nnasira agad 🙀
Wrong!
Talo parin yan sa Innova 8 seater cya yan 7 lng 2.8 l kaysa yan 1.5 lng
Your Toyota Innova XE is overpriced, outdated, unsafe, bare and a smoke belcher 😂😂😂
MG G50 Plus is way more comfortable to drive, safer, fuel efficient, fully equipped and miles better than your overpriced outdated bare Innova XE 😂😂😂
Damn competitive price for a car and purpose. But china brand, so meh
Maxxus
Type c? More like Type A, I think caco has no eyes
No to China CCP cars. ✌️
1.5L gas engine with this big body. The fuel consumption should be low. Why dont you make a diesel engine? MG? Wtf. Use your brains men
Either turbocharged gasoline engines, hybrid, or fully electric ang path ng cars from China.
FYI, that 1.5L turbo has more power and torque than the 2.5L turbo diesel in the 2000s Hyundai Starex with a larger body. The same 2.5L turbo in the Pajero 2500 intercooler.
@@radbasa - If I may respond, yes, that is true. My concern with this is the lifespan of the engine considering the fact that it has a lot of power and torque - pigang piga kumbaga.
@@luzemmanuelluz5 Yet you lask for a diesel engine. If you haven’t noticed, diesels today are also turbocharged to produce more power and torque. Pigang puga kumbaga.
i really love this guy 🫡
