If you're looking for an old golf combat game, I recall one called Links Extreme in which you could load various devices (explosives, rockets, gravity-defying trick shot mechanisms) into your golfball. It was annoying as heck to play if you didn't know what anything does (just researching the name led me to discover that apparently there's golfballs in there that AREN'T loaded with explosives, gasp), but it would still make a neat one-off video.
it does not bother me that worms can explode, have houses, tend to golf courses, HAVE golf courses. What really bothers me is HOW THE BLOODY HELL THEY CAN TELEPORT!!????
