Oh man that was too fucking easy... fight Benezia, she and her Asari commandos are much much more dangerous... this is the only fight in ME1 which I would consider calling "difficult". I call it tricky... that's where you get tested. It's not only how good you can use cover and how well you can aim... it's also about correct movement and constant change of tactics, because there are snipers, melee fighters and biotics... so you have to change your weapon quite often to maximize efficiency unless you play a biotic class. And the last thing is that you need to be damn quick! All of that doesn't appeal to the armature boss fight... one weapon, one tactic, no biotics, only one pattern of movement and a good choice of cover, that is all to beat this boss... So, that's my detailed opinion at least... but I understand why this fight might be difficult for some player types out there. What do you think about the Benezia bossight? Do you find that easier or harder? Well I think it depends on which planet you take first... Noveria was my first planet to go for, so I was horribly underleveled... just because of: RACHNI! They are hitting very hard and they are agile while chewing awesome amounts of damage. To me, Feros and Therum appeared to be very easy instead.
RavenWarrior90 : Yeah, I thought about it again and I said that because when I first played this game, that armature owned me and picking Liara up was the first major mission I went for, but now that I'm playing through again and about to do Noveria...Oy, now I remember the Benezia fight. Oh that fight. I think I had to do that like 30 times before I finally found the perfect opening salvo to get it done. All I can remember at this point was how elated I was when she finally went down...Hell I was just happy I was able to deal with all the damn adds properly. Good call on that. Definitely.
Yeah that fight was intense, but as I said I understand why the armature is dangerous, too. I'm playing again now and yesterday I got a oneshot from him xD happened by accident as I was concerned to kill those hopping little frog-like Geth first and then it hit me. Benezia however is the toughest bitch in the game with her damn asari commandos. :)
@@RavenWarrior90 Tbh I was playing on insanity as an infiltrator and Noveria was the last planet I visited before Virmire (I was already at max level thanks to side quests). To be honest, ME1 had lot of scenes where you're awe struck. First time you see sovereign at eden prime, the time when you touch the beacon, battle of citadel etc. Story was top notch and on top of all that these badass music tracks.
Just got the Legendary Edition and marathoned the game for hours right as I got it. Soon as I heard this theme play as my Shepard shouted "I've lost shields!", I knew Mass Effect was back :')

I remember dying countless times until I decided to use my max warp w/ nemesis specialization and shooting all my grenades and carnage/marksman it to death and I almost died still XD.
I beat it fairly easily even on Insanity, you just have to focus on the snipers, then the juggernauts and finally the armature itself, just stay in cover and you'll be fine

Gotta use your head in that mission, you can’t win with a frontal assault. The easy way is to break hard left as soon as the combat begins. There’s a pavilion structure there and the only way in and out is on your side of the battlefield. Then just let the Geth come to you and blast them one by one as they come around the corner.
