Your videos are quality...love the anthill mob coming in at the end! I need some new quads, I last skated on the streets in the 90s on turbo 33s and some roces. Trouble is I'm a size 13UK so hard to find skates that fit. Do you recommend an ice hockey skate conversion then? I'll go down that route I think
I've never tried them but I imagine they skate a lot like any trainer conversion. My Paris Skate video I'm using my Adidas trainer conversions and they felt good. I wouldn't reccomend buying a trainer conversion for the main purpose of street skating but you can definutely use them with the right wheels. Just remember skating in trainers don't offer as much ankle support as an actual skate that is designed to be a skate so you need to be confident in your abilities. The first time I skated in my trainer conversions I almost twisted my ankle about 6 times. I had to get used to how much they flex in places that a skate wouldn't.
@@JakeLDS - So I used to skate years ago and am wanting to get back into it. What skates are people using now? Bauer's? Graf's? I'm not a beginner skater, just not up to date on any new makes. Any help would be massively appreciated 🙏🏻👍🏻
@@terrra_2024 Mine in this video are Roces ice skates that I converted, most people these days are using Bauer's still for street. Street skaters generally use converted ice hockey skates whether they are Bauers, Roces, Graf etc. I have some Reebok ice skates I've been meaning to convert. The reason I got those over Bauers is that the comfortable Bauers are hard to come by. Not all ice hockey skates are equal, the Bauers most shops sell as roller skates these days are cheap and uncomfortable, the high end hockey boots can be found and converted yourself but as I say, they're hard to find. The Reebok ice hockey skates I found are great quality, heat mouldable and only cost me £40.
RIP Skibs..............
Thanks for sharing. long time since I donned a pair of skates!
Sick skating and cinematography skills.
Love skating through London, getting ya weaving skills on 😎
Literally the only reason I'm so good, learning to weave through people backwards made me unlock some crazy skills😭🙏🏿🔥🔥🔥
Another great video! Summer rain is all good 😊
Thank you, it was good temperature.
Nice sounds and even greater video! 😎
❤️✌️ Hope you're well mate.
You are too cool for skool Jake. Mind blown!!!
Nice Jake! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🔥
👊 Thank you mate
Love it. Want to do this so badly. Lots of practising to do 🥴
I only got this good a few months ago, and I can assure you, it's worth the hype. Going backwards in this fashion feels as though you are surfing.

Love the video, but got a question at the end of the video, everyone seem to be riding quads, didn't see any line staktes? Any reason?
Wow
Where exactly is that at the end? Can't believe I missed that having now left London 😫 looks a quality skate spot
Oh golly!
Oh gosh!!
What brand is skates are you wearing?
These are Roces RSK2 ice skates that I converted myself.
Was the security guard trying to tell you lot off or was he waving? 😆
😂 He's just super friendly, always gets really excited when he sees us and greets us with his flailing arm waves.
BEST WHEELS HOCKEY WHEELS OR AIRWAYS ?
Airways for street. Hockey wheels for hockey.
Just wanted to ask but do you think flaneurz skates are good for cruising?
