Names like: Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Z, P, Tee, Hot Dawg, but drivers are not allowed to use fake/alias names. 2. Ghost Riders: Where an Uber or Lyft account holder uses their personal account to order rides for a "undocumented 3rd Parties".... Jennifer orders ride, but BOB comes to your car 3. Courtesy Wait Time: Why does UBER & Lyft allow drivers to wait 5-7 minutes on riders when technology informs riders their driver is on the way. With Carjackings on the rise and bad traffic situations, this puts drivers at risk waiting for riders 5-7 minutes. I feel a 2-3 minute wait time is sufficient for riders to get to their rides. 4. Some drivers still picking up riders who travel with infants and toddlers without a car seat/booster seat.. IT's the Law but riders want drivers to risk it all but if something happens, that driver is in deep poop!
Back when I did rideshare all this was happening and looks like nothing has improved and it still is. That is good you use voice recording as well as a dash cam. I had three dash cams. One front and one back both recording audio. They are slim so not as noticeable. Then I had one that recorded the cabin and front as was very visible in the car. Naturally I had a sign stating riders are recorded. I do miss rideshare but there were some scary times. Knowing what I know know I would do short trips and not rack up so many miles. Unfortunately it's going to take something very bad to happen before Congress can catch up to Uber & Lyft of why they're not putting better safety measures in place when in comes to Ridesharing. Sex Trafficking & Human Trafficking are on the rise and Uber & Lyft are in many ways vehicles to this problem because there's no safeguards put in place by the Rideshare companies.
@@Junior-em9ly True! One time I had a "package" to a business and I even made small talk about being a drug mule and they opened the box to show me the contents. Naturally the drugs could have been concealed and I would have felt good about the delivery as we "talked about it".
Alcohol is a big no for me. Not only can some bad things happen, but liability also becomes an issue. No thanks. I had someone try to get me to purchase vapes for them after picking up their french fries a while back. It took a while before I even understood what they were saying, but they ended up getting nothing, not even their fries after I reported it to Uber.
Food is easy because you just hand it to the customer or leave it at the door. Maybe the guy who delivered pizzas to drunks in the 90s had to collect payments etc. But still that isn’t the point. Thanks for highlighting that! Russ

I was married to a taxi driver and he had some sad wild stories. Its a pitiful job.
