I really want to cry with how much you do for us strangers. You are so selfless it's not funny. You could just live your own life outside of this...you could of even put this in a course and have us pay for this information but this? All 3 hours of teaching? I'm officially calling you Prof. Blake
I feel the same way this is so selfless. It's overwhelming emotionally to me that Roberto is so transparent and shelling the real deal. I've been my own boss for 15 + year but new to UA-cam.
Thanks Roberto... I have been with you since 2016 when I started my YT adventure... You have to admit that recently you're taking your advices to a different level... Thanks for your hard work
You hit so many points from optimizing learning through video, getting out of debt to producing quality and putting in the work that content creators need to hear. So much respect and appreciation for you for what you are doing. From someone who is an adult (42), living with multiple auto immune conditions (health care) this is so real. I've been my own boss for 15 years but just starting creating content who isn't monetized I still treat it like it's going to be my carrier. Thank you.
On the 15th minute of the video. I love it how you say to approach UA-cam as a business opportunity. This is how I see it completely. It is a marketing tool and acts as a portfolio depending on the direction one takes. There's levels, layers to this. Meaning the content creator economy is deeply connected to the small business community level. Small businesses are becoming content creators. In fact, in my local area, I encourage people to view their social accounts and websites as the extension of their business.
I cut cable off and Netflix to start my channel so I use my evening after work to work on my channel I went from 30 to 1000 in 2 weeks by taking your advice and other UA-cam to post on all my other pages
This is AMAZING info, thanks Roberto! (And I’ll bet brands/ sponsors are watching this now and going “ah, no! Don’t tell em that Roberto, now we’re gonna have to pay more!”) 😂 As a tiny channel, I’m currently earning a low 4-figures from affiliate marketing, so this stuff works. And I’m definitely slowly adding on different income streams (or experimenting, rather) to see what else sticks. Your advice has been invaluable. Thank you!
RE: CPM - going on a month of monetization, my CPM range is $15 - $20 and I'm actually earning significant AdSense revenue on my as of now tiny channel and I will be expanding my UA-cam business in other ways. Thanks for the tips.
A year from now you’ll either be happy that you started working on your dreams or wishing that you had started. Get started now and don't live with regrets! YOU can do it! :)
I'm really glad you put some perspective around what it costs to scale and maintain a business! Everyone makes it look like the money just rolls in and nothing is spent.
Thank you Roberto for sharing all this! I am on UA-cam but I also own a business so I understand issues like business expenses and taxes. Thank you for caring!
This has to be the most informative video I've watched anywhere online. It's a real eye opener. I will be looking at your other videos. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
@@RobertoBlake I was watching into the early hours on replay. I think I went to bed just after 3am UK time. I've still got the last 30 minutes to watch. In the UK well would call this a penny drop moment. Basically when fog clears and you get real clarity about what NEEDS to be done to take the next step in the right direction. I've watched so many other YT advice channels over the past 6-8 weeks and their advice is good but your video made all the pieces fall into place. I now have a real sense of direction, instead of just blindly making videos, in the hope something might work eventually.
I'm going to have to revisit this tomorrow since this is such a jam-packed jam session! lol. You're always so helpful and knowledgeable. I don't put "all my beads in one basket", but I'm telling you...all these different things I'm trying to do is a real bear on time management. No time for the hubby. I have a full-time job again now, too. So, there's lots to do, but you're correct in how quickly "normal" employment can end. I tell my jewelry students this all the time and recommend eventually building up to create their own website after they get comfy breaking into eCommerce via Etsy, UA-cam, etc. Getting traffic to your own site is a major hurdle, but you can utilize that traffic to send to your site. Many of my beading students are usually very timid of even opening an Etsy store at first. Bless their hearts. I've deactivated my jewelry side of my projects since the move to a new state and have focused more on digital and UA-cam, but I'll be reevaluating how much time I'm spending on UA-cam and social media. It's not anywhere close to replacing a full time job, much less a great income. Digital is a great thing to learn and grow because I can create one graphic and although it's a lot of work from the start...it can be re-sold many times over while I sleep. Great tips. In the words of the Terminator, "I'll be back!". lol. Also, I think the baby should make more guest appearances. lol.Sparkle on!
College to me has the same function as school does and it's teaching you about socialization. That's the most valuable lesson in life since you have to know where you stand in society and learn how to place yourself wherever you want to. College has the plus effect of showing you are "obedient" because if you can cope with all the papers and schedules in college you might be of the same quality in other areas, too. As far as knowledge is concerned, however, UA-cam alone can give you a full master's degree in almost whatever you want to learn. Getting hands dirty does the rest to solidify that knowledge.
Hi Roberto ! I learnt about Cash Flow Centric Mind Set/Model - for creative entreprenuer - Thanking you for awesome and incredible source of real world teaching with live examples. Regards
That hermit life! 👊🏽🤣 That said, the content shared in this video will change lives of prowl listen and apply your teachings. 🧐 Thanks for sharing and explaining things the Robert way. 👊🏽🇵🇦
Being the owner of 1 house and another one that will be paid off in a few years and not having a car note I don't need much money to live on. I donate more money than some people make. I believe in people making each other money so some of the jobs that I get I am able to pay someone $30 an hour to do some of those jobs so that I can do volunteer work. I have a brother who was in corporate law and land development, He was able to retire at the age of 36 with 0 debt. He now does consultant work and public speaking a couple times a year that brings in 7 figures for him but he donates most of that money
Good work. I couldn't stop watching this replay, you are very true to what you say, with proof. I also make such videos for my audience, i hope one day i will make it on UA-cam just like you. Thanks!
i´m already paying taxes forlike 5 years on my own bussiness Also Amazon affiliates since last year, The big change will be for those who are not paying anyhting or is the first time they are into it. (Here in Mexico)
Roberto, you’re a good man. I can’t thank you enough for the VALUE you provide! I’ll never stop watching you, your long form is so incredibly informative and honestly you’re one of the very few people I would buy a course from. I don’t know if I need it though as your free content is a value goldmine in its own. Much love and respect from a fellow creator who loves all aspects of design and creation. I love you so much man, you’re incredible and truly inspiring. Thank you.
Thank you for this stream Roberto! The deep dive on print-on-demand sounds like a great idea. I also like what you mentioned about getting somebody else to design your merch for you. I'd like to start selling merch but have no design skills, so that would be a very valuable case study.
Super informative video robert, I think for black people especially, we were brought up with the mindset only to survive.. now there's a shift where we can live and not just that, if applied properly.. CONQUER 💥💥👏🏽👏🏽💥💥
Question Roberto! I appreciate all of your information. It's very helpful. I'm watching the replay but do you have people helping you keep track of this all? I am trying to have a channel but my main issue is not having enough time to do all this myself but not quite enough money to pay for people to help me. How do you just start small, make money and keep it manageable until you can afford to get help?
After all these years u actually still do it all myself. I actually reveal quite a bit in my videos about how I manage to do it all myself and the importance of building systems
Roberto I had a question on the "Category" on videos. It's a bit confusing only because you'd think people would actually choose what should go here but I notice almost all videos will be set to People & Blogs. Does this even effect your video and does it determine how UA-cam might promote your video? For instance if you are doing camera videos, I'd think you would use Film & Animation but I just put People & Blogs because that's what everyone does lol. Thanks for the help!
Hey guys i have a question ☝ Is it worth uploading Videos to a channel that has been unused for over a year now, or is it basically dead now due to algorithm etc (it was barely used at all) ? And it would be better to start a new/fresh channel ? Thx for your time😊
Thanks for keeping this live up! I appreciate you valuable input! I had a quick question! Do you think you my channel could benefit further from your channel review services? Thanks!
Roberto, Your consulting fee is not currently in my budget. How do I get you to look at my website. I'm currently hiring Influencers to help promote my brand so I have more time to spend on my You Tube channel.
Me neither all I know is I hate how my entire feed it tuning into adds and content I didn't ask for. I hope it's not that cause I don't want to part of what I hate!

Hello
This guy Roberto is so well spoken and through! Always love hearing his input!
