I avoided skinning, because lots of riggers here on youtube actually don't use it, but the model I'm working on also has twin tails and I'm not really happy with what it looks like, I'll definitely try it out now, looks really smooth. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks so much for this update! I recently tried the skinning method from your previous tutorial and it honestly makes my life a lot easier with long hair parts!
(also love your spooky model!)
Thank you! I'm glad my tuts are helpful for ya ^^
This seems so much easier than what I’ve been doing thank you
About broken artmesh problem: i had it twice and figured out that my artmesh wasn't that good and detailed, so i remade it and the problem was solved. So maybe you should try making a more detailed artmesh in those places where it gets broken
I have never used skinning before and this video just easily explains everything so clearly. Oh. My. Goodness
Aaa ive learned that if i add a heavy mesh to the hair piece and then do the rotation deformers, i dont have hair break! It use to happen to me all the time but i remember reading somewhere that the mesh helps it from breaking!
THANK YOU SO MUCH I WAS HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME WITH MY MODEL BECAUSE I DIDINT KNOW HOW TO USE PHYSICS!!
Omg your new skin is so cute
And thx the new tutorial I'm just making a model and I need skinning
Ty
Thank you, and good luck on your model!
Wooow amazing I always do this in hard way, didnt know this is even possible. Thanks for sharing~
Tysmmmm this is so helpful !
This video is absolutely helpful! Thank you so much! 💖
Just as I'm working on my next set of models :') thank you
Thank you for this one too♡♡♡
Thank you so much!!!
waaa this rlly helpsss !!! im gonna try this bcz hair physics is my weakness T_T
thank you
tysm!
this video was so helpful thank you!
Ahhh sorry my Eng so bad than I can't understand much.
Can you explain more about physics Y paramiter ? I don't get it. That I have to make a physics for that para Y too ? 😢
I'd love to try this! Also so when you make the head XY movement on deformer and use that skinning technique on the art mesh the hair will sway?
Hi! So I have a little bit of an issue with setting up some of the input effectiveness (it worked the first two times I did it but now it's not letting me) where when I set one to 100 I can't change the other one, I can have them both at 50, or other numbers I just can't have them both at 100.
Thanks for the tutorial though! It was actually really helpful :D
Ah yes, of course I forget something~ the numbers must add up to 100 total. From what I've seen though, it's not a huge deal if you have 25, 50, or 100 effectiveness.
If you have multiple inputs the total must be 100. If you struggle with it not being effective enough at 50/50. just up the scale :)
why cant i link the hair with the head ;-;
mine doesnt follow
Hello! I ran into a problem while trying this which im not sure how to solve so I would be happy if you could help me! Once I added rotation deformer tool, the hair doesnt follow the warp deformer that i did for Y moevment anymore. Would really appreciate any help thank you ^^
Hi! Did you ever find a solution? currently having the same problems.
@@spookaychoco2860 Hello, sorry i didnt found a solution. I ended up just adding more deformers to have kind of the same effect. :') (so i didnt use the skinning method at all)
@@gaodesu Aw that's unfortunate. Thanks for your reply anyhow.
same ; ;
I don't know if this was to late or not, do the same with Angle X and Y (Create a dot on parameter for the parameter you want to keep)
After I get all of my meshes done for angle x and y and then add all the rotations/physics ….the mesh turns back to default and doesn’t follow it parameters of the mesh. Do you know a fix?
Thank you for the tutorial! I followed it but i have some problem as my Y physics deformer and parameter doesn't work anymore after skinning. How can i fix it :(((((
Hi! Make sure you don't have the art mesh on any other parameter other than the head XY angles. Any other physics you do has to be through deformers only.
AAAAAAAA
I can rigging but i can't draw all body not like a doodle.
I don't have enough money to buy a model (in my walue it starts after 1000 money).
Wut i can do?
Hello, i have a question again :3 i hope you could answer it ^^
So when we put the art mesh on xy parameter, it has to be the actual art mesh (not a deformer) and we cant reshape it ?
Hello! Yes, the actual art mesh. You can reshape any warp deformers the mesh is in, just not the mesh itself.
@@sugarstarstudio ahh i get it now, so you already make the hair deformer before and put it on xy parameter, and we have to put it again the actual artmesh on that xy parameter right ?
Im sorry if my english is bad :3
Yes, exactly! Let me know if you have any troubles ☺️
@@sugarstarstudio okay thank you so much ^^ it realy help me a lot
I have an a idea.
Maybe you can do tutorial how to add hands?
