I already do crochet braids but i have never done the individual around the perimeter , so my niece ask that i do her hair and she requested this time i do the front individual "if i could" , i never tell her no, HOWEVER my reply was just let me jump over to "UA-cam UNIVERSITY" LOL and see what quick class i can find and i found you... LOL so thanks i really like the hug method but all 6 a very helpful .. I got this . thanks Queen ,and Happy Styling to all.
That #5 is the TRUTH!!! I have been using your other methods for a while, but my hair pops out. This method is quick and completely solves that problem!!! Thanks for really perfecting this hairstyle.
BEST VIDEO EVER! you're amazing! you went right into the tutorial, you're just as descriptive as you need to be, you take care to move super slow AND great lighting!!! Thank you!!!
Loved # 5!!! My daughter wants them but I have never installed locs. Thanks so much for this video. I'm gonna surprise her and do them for her. You TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!! God Bless you Dear😘
Now this is an awesome tutorial. Because everyones hair isnt the same density and this gives you more options. HALLELUJAH. I WANNA REDO MY FAUX LOCS. THANK YOU
ABSOLUTELY YOUR NEW #4 KNOTLESS METHOD BECAUSE I'VE DONE YOUR WRAPPING METHOD WHICH LOOKS THE BEST OUT OF ALL (NO KNOTS WITH YOUR ACTUAL HAIR COMPLETELY HIDDEN), BUT IT IS SOOOOOO TIME CONSUMING!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR UPDATES AND TESTING YOU SHARE!
Thank you, I installed crochet locs in my daughter’s hair yesterday. I tried at least three of your techniques and the knotless ended up working best along with the hugging method.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!I am an older Mom of an Diva 17yr old..😍😍Who has been wanting locs but We live in a very tiny Florida Town and the closest place to get Her Fabulocity on is an Hr away..yeah. So found You in the Middle of the night and OMG..SO BLESSED.She has no idea so doing this in the nxt couple weeks. You are the ONLY one Who's Vids are CLEAR..DETAILED..UNDERSTANDABLE..INFORMATIVE.. In short PERFECT!!A Godsend..keep doing amazing Vids. Wish You'd been around 17yrs ago..ROFLMBO..BTW .. USING MY SON ACCOUNT..LOL
This is perhaps the most informative and well taught method that I have ever seen. You are an amazing teacher. Great video, all God's blessings to you!
Ms Jazz, thank you for sharing your methods in these tutorials. You have saved me hundreds of dollars because I can do my own installs. Really love the braidin method... so smart.
Waw ! This color and your skin tone... It's like THE best combination ! By the way I'm happy that you find more and more ways to do crochet ! #jazznicolemethod is not what it used to be, #jazznicolemethod now represents diversity and improvement of crochet locs method ! ❤
Omg i cant believe method #4 was done 5 YEARS AGO! Ive been doin it like method #1 and 2 but i never liked the knot showing. So i thought method 4 was brand new to the game. My gawd 😮 i def will be doin my locs like that for now on. Thank you
Girl you got me so hyped for all these new videos coming up! And I just wanna thank you so much faux locs have become my go to style! I cannot express how much you've helped me out!!!!❤️
This my first time doing my own boho locks and I started with method 2 but in the end I’m gonna do method 4. Great tutorial. Thank you so much for this.
Girl, you are a Godsend. I don't usually leave comments on videos, but I had to this time. I used method 5 when I installed my locks with some help from my mom in the back of my head. I've gotten sooo many compliments! I'm about to take these babies down and redo them using the 5th method. This is my go to look for sure. Thanks for everything you do! Absolutely amazing
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I knew I wanted locs but my head is very small and adding them to cornrows made it necessary to put too many locs in. It made me look like a poodle that wasn't groomed. This method allows my stylist to add just what I need, and no more. Bless you for sharing your gifts with the rest of us@@@
I just wanted to say thank you for making this video. As an amateur who doesn't know how to cornrow this video was by far the best and most helpful to me! I tried several of your methods and hugging/wrapping the braids is my favorite. Worked awesome for me! Thanks so much.
This is the best tutorial I’ve seen after watching about 10 other videos. I ❤️ that you show 6 different methods to install. I had never seen the knot less method before and that’s the one I want to try. I think the look at the root is better and more natural than the knot method.
Thank you and thank you again for this refreshing video. The knotless method is my favourite. I am definitely going to use this method combined with the hug wrap method. Did I say thank you🤩. Yes I did.
I just bought the freetress wrap n go hipsta locs and rewatching this video makes me realize your method #5 is basically the inspiration for that crochet loc!
I’m hoping these methods are as easy as you make them look! Trying to save a little money and have a friend’s mom braid my hair down and install the crochet locs myself. Prayers needed 😂
I love these methods! I finally have 2.5 inches of hair growth after chemo last year this time. I wonder if this would m be too much stress on my hair? My hair came back less kinky and more relaxed curly. Keep up the great work you're doing.
Please do a video like this for faux box braids and twist!!!! I love this all the methods in one video for a quick reference!!! LOVE your videos and how you walk us through the steps.
The knotless method is my favorite! With having carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands with a splint on my left and my dominant right hand the surgery failed, leaving me with a keloid scar at the base of my palm that is super painful. It lets me braid 1/3 down and twist. When my hands hurt, I can stop, and restart later. It's easier to do of the back of my head too! TY!
OK I had to come back to this video a month after watching it the first time. My hair is gray and black and the gray locs look amazing on my hair. The issue was not all of my hair was gray so covering the ends was harder and then my locs are not really hollow so a few were messed up and there were gaps revealing my own hair color. I received so many compliments even with the mistakes and I wore them for 3 weeks (compliments all day er day...). When I watche this vid the first time I was just perusing...so now ff to rewatching this method... 5 & 6 saved me some serious time because my hair is long and I didn't know what to do with those friggin gaps and had to keep redoing the dang braids...I'm going to destroy a few wrap and carry on! ...LOVE THIS VIDEO! Thank you!!
I love, love, love this video. I have been wanting to try crochet locs but can't cornrow at all. Your video has given me options which I am confident can work on my hair even though it is about 2-3 inches long. Thank you so much!
I like 4 and 5. I also want to comment that your channel is the first channel I've first seen these methods and it sad that you haven't gotten your acclimate for them. You should also have more subbies than you do. 😘😍💇
Omg thank u so much! I was having trouble with getting my hair to stay in the loc but the wrap in method u showed after using another location really helped me!!!
I was waitin for someone to make a video using these locs. I just did the exact same style in my hair on Saturday using this hair. I was skeptical at first cus I've never seen it before but I get a lot of compliments. Looks beautiful as usual jazz 🔥
Same here & I’m loving it! Wanted to do this style for a long time but didn’t know exactly how to do it. Now, I feel confident in putting them in. For me, personally, I think I’ll use #2 &/or #4 method. I’ve used the #2 method with crochet braids but I’ve never even seen the #4 method. That one looks the easiest.
Your videos are one of the best!! After viewing all the methods, will definitely try the knotless method. Thank you for this. I was going to get it done "professionally" but stylists are charging 400 dollars.
The hugging method is my favorite. It's so easy for me, but had to constantly rewrap because my hair would slide out the top. The pull through method #2 was murder. Can't wait to try the others
that first technique im gonna have to try!! i struggles with crocheting my braid inside the lic witht the needle, not easy when ur doing it on yourself. thanks!
I think the Knotless (Method 4) and the Pull method (#3) together are GENIUS!! I like the idea of the Hug method too but my hair is already past my underarm so I think that would take a lot of time. Pulling it through the loc would be easier. I would like to try methods 5 and 6 but I have thick hair and I haven't done locs before so I don't know how many bags of hair I will need so destroying locs is not the best option for me right now lol...Thank you for constantly sharing your creativity :D
You are a lifesaver!! This foster mama who can't cornrow, thanks you! I tried the hug method last night and it turned out AMAZING!!
5 years later and this video is still helpful! Thank you!!
That #5 is the TRUTH!!! I have been using your other methods for a while, but my hair pops out. This method is quick and completely solves that problem!!! Thanks for really perfecting this hairstyle.
How long did you keep it on?
This video is why I love UA-cam. Ma'am you have no idea how much your video helped me. This is doable! Your hair looks lovely. Thank you so much!
BEST VIDEO EVER! you're amazing! you went right into the tutorial, you're just as descriptive as you need to be, you take care to move super slow AND great lighting!!! Thank you!!!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved # 5!!! My daughter wants them but I have never installed locs. Thanks so much for this video. I'm gonna surprise her and do them for her. You TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!! God Bless you Dear😘
I've seen several videos on faux locks and yours is the BEST. Thank you!!

the knotless method and braid in method are my favorite so far.
Thank you, I installed crochet locs in my daughter’s hair yesterday. I tried at least three of your techniques and the knotless ended up working best along with the hugging method.
This is actually the BEST tutorial I’ve ever seen on Goddess braids and they actually look really nice!!!
Hey! My fav is the knotless method! These techniques are so ingenious! Thanks so much!

You are by far one of my favorite instructors on hair videos. Thank you for all you are doing to help us.

Jazz you show us some of the most innovative methods on hair styles especially dealing with crochet. Keep doing what you're doing.
Yours is the best video explanation for adding looped locs. Thank you so much.❤
This my first time doing my own boho locks and I started with method 2 but in the end I’m gonna do method 4. Great tutorial. Thank you so much for this.
Just came across your video now and can't walk away without subscribing ❤ Amazing methods!
This is by far the best video regarding faux loc.. Thank U Queen 👑
I love how simple u showed different ways.Thank u so much.Take care.

Crochet and then wrapping with the destroyed crochet loc is the best method it takes long but it's worth it
Ahh I cannot wait to see more of the "knotless" method! That's most likely the method I'll use when I do my faux locs again 🙌🏽😭
Finally a video that shares how many packs used 🤩honest had a hard time trying to find one that shared how many packs were used
I just wanted to say thank you for making this video. As an amateur who doesn't know how to cornrow this video was by far the best and most helpful to me! I tried several of your methods and hugging/wrapping the braids is my favorite. Worked awesome for me! Thanks so much.

Methods 2 & 4 are my favorites. I have smaller goddess locs but can't wait to try this on my hair this weekend around my edges.
I mean I'm binge watching... Speechless & completely flabbergasted!! Wow...love all your videos...time to stack up on some hair to do my locs!!
Great video! Showing the different methods was a ingenious idea. It was extremely helpful to see the how to and how each method looked. THANKS!!!
This video is a GAME CHANGER THANKS
Thank you and thank you again for this refreshing video. The knotless method is my favourite. I am definitely going to use this method combined with the hug wrap method. Did I say thank you🤩. Yes I did.
I just bought the freetress wrap n go hipsta locs and rewatching this video makes me realize your method #5 is basically the inspiration for that crochet loc!
the second method has given me the courage to finally do my own hair, thank you so much
The braid in method 😮. My hair is short and I have never done my own braids but I did a sample that method and OMG, it is my favorite.
I’m hoping these methods are as easy as you make them look! Trying to save a little money and have a friend’s mom braid my hair down and install the crochet locs myself. Prayers needed 😂
I will be trying method 4 when I refresh the front and back of my hair next week! You're so creative!
Nice I love the way you put the crochet hook through it and pull it inside the loch👍🏾👍🏾👏🏽👏🏽
EXCELLENT video!! You did great showing all the different ways combined. I had never even heard of those last two before! Awesome!!
6 years later and this video is so helpful😊
I'm going to have to try the knot less method. I love it.
Method 2,3 and 5 are by far my favorite so far
Thank you so much. I wish I had seen your video before I made my crochet today. I still made mine the old way. Thank you.

Jazz . ..you are simply amazing. Thank you for all of the options and for sharing.
This was sooo helpful. Thank you!! Method 4 was my favorite.
I think number four was the most easy for me to understand and looks the neatest
Please do a video like this for faux box braids and twist!!!! I love this all the methods in one video for a quick reference!!! LOVE your videos and how you walk us through the steps.

Number 4 is definitely my favorite. Nice work!

I love this video! I'm going to try the knotless method for the first time! Thanks
omgosh you make this look so easy! I started mine and had to go back and re watch cause it was not working
The hugging method is my favorite. It's so easy for me, but had to constantly rewrap because my hair would slide out the top. The pull through method #2 was murder. Can't wait to try the others
