Anyone who completes the Cape Split hike with two dogs has earned my respect, especially after not complaining about it once!!!!! You four are troopers in my book, I am glad to see you all thoroughly enjoying your time here. And if you think the scenery and people are nice here, wait until you get to the Cape Breton highlands. You are in for another treat, rest assured!!
Haha we'd warmed ourselves with three hikes over the past two days! We collapsed into bed that last night 😂 Cape Split was beautiful, so glad we left early as the trail was getting crazy busy by the time we were heading back. So excited to get to Cape Breton! 🧡
Agree. I am excited to see the videos of cape breton. Especially the drone footage. I only wish you were there in fall as the colours are insane there. Really enjoying your videos. Cheers
I just found you guys and have been very pleased to have subscribed. Best of luck on your journeys. Glad to see areas that I missed when I was last out that way. I remember Luckett (sp?) winery where I found a British call box in the middle of the vines. You could call anywhere in the world at no charge. Bye for now from Western Canada.
@@matthewbeddoes8472 Pete Luckett. Another UK expat who came to Nova Scotia. He was a green grocer. He sold that off and started the winery there. A beautiful place up there!
Thanks so much Ryan, we really appreciate that. We’re having the best time and couldn’t have been given a warmer welcome. This place will always have a spot in our hearts! ✨💛
Love watching your videos of our little area of the world! I moved the the annapolis Valley 6 years ago when I met my husband and we are finally going to hike cape split in a few weeks and I cannot wait! We love Big Mikes too (it's actually in New Minas, between wolfville and kentville) they have amazing Donairs too (if you haven't tried one yet while in NS you should!).. When you leave the Annapolis Valley and are driving away on the 101 Hwy, around exit 9 (I think..lol) watch to your left and you get the most beautiful views across the minas basin to Blomidon (which would have been another great location for you to stop while in the cape split area).. When I am driving home to the Annapolis Valley and I come down that hill on the highway to see Blomidon it always makes me feel like home. My husband and I even got married at blomidon because I love it so much. Can't wait to see what else you guys find along your travels!
Thank you so much for this Jessica! This place clearly has a special place in your heart, and it’s left it’s mark on us too! We’re literally driving that part of the road as I’m writing this 🥰💛
There is a somewhat local favourite food, a donair, that I recommend you give a try at some point. You can usually find them in decent sized pizza shops, but not the chain pizza shops (those should be avoided like the plague if you have a choice). Donairs are a maritime province thing. There are shops outside of the maritimes that say they sell donairs, but they aren't the same. That is one of the things that I definitely miss from NS.
And to think you drove by Jake’s; an excellent place for donairs in Yarmouth! If you are going to be in Fredericton on a Saturday, there is the Boyce Farmer’s Market… excellent food with some very delicious donairs as well. Donairs are also available at New England Pizza in Fredericton. If not going into Fredericton, you could try the Saint John City Market for a donair as well. Having said all that, I have never been disappointed with a visit to a Pizza Delight for a “super donair”and “garlic fingers with cheese and donair sauce”. (Donair sauce is basically sweetened condensed milk and garlic and it is delicious when dipped with melted mozzarella covered garlic fingers).
So glad you experienced Annapolis Valley! My family are loyalists who settled there in the late 1700's, made our way to Yarmouth and eventually settled in Montreal in the early 1900's. Happy belated birthday!
I just found your channel today and am really enjoying your videos. My husband and I just got home from Nova Scotia about a week ago and absolutely loved it there (we live in Ontario). If you get the chance, take a detour to Martinique Beach, which is east of Halifax. The waves are big enough to surf! Reminded me of Cornwall when I was living in England as a child. Enjoy your touring around and safe travels. So looking forward to your coming videos.
Hey Tanya! Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰 I actually bookmarked Martinique beach today! Hope we get chance to stop there, it looks beautiful. So much of Nova Scotia reminds me of Cornwall.. the fishing villages, rocky Atlantic coast, the maritime history. Do you get to go back to to Cornwall much? 🧡
Looking forward to your next video. We are headed down to NS later this week by car and have enjoyed your videos. We will definitely use some of your info to enhance our trip. We are bringing our dog with us too
Happy Birthday! I hiked Cape Split before... it's beautiful and it looks like you had the perfect weather for it. The RCMP ceremonial uniform is called a red serge...and you won't typically see them wearing that on horseback outside of a parade or another ceremony. If beer is more of Ben's thing, there are lots of amazing breweries in the Wolfville, Kentville, and Windsor areas. 🙂
Thank you Kimberley! Yep, Nova Scotia pulled out all the stops for me, including beautiful sunshine 🌞 Ben is more of a cider guy! I also love cider too, neither of us are beer drinkers which is a shame really as I’d love to get into craft beer 😅💛
Watching as visitors travel throughout areas all too familiar to me is giving me a greater appreciation of my corner of Canada and I find that I am reminiscing about old haunts of my youth. So happy to know that visitors find it as fascinating also. I grew up in New Brunswick but worked in Nova Scotia for over 20 years. The Cabot Trail of Cape Breton is beautiful and very stunning later on when the leaves change colour.
Love this, thank you so much. I hope the videos are bringing back some special memories for you ✨💛 We’re heading to Cape Breton very soon - can’t wait!
Welcome to Nova Scotia!! So glad you are having a beautiful trip ❤. My husband and I once did the Cape Split hike by moonlight and had a campfire under the most beautiful moon and stars ☪️ 🌟. Hope you get a chance to see Parrsboro and the highest tides in the world. Thank you for sharing, have a safe trip!!
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It sure looks like you had an amazing day. To be celebrating your birthday in such a wonderful province, full of so many kind and helpful people makes me so happy. That pizza looked awesome!
Is no one going to talk about how amazing Chesca's hair looks?! I need a hair care routine! Another incredible video, so beautifully filmed. You could never bore me talking about plants and the forest 🌱
so beautiful thank you for sharing.... heading to Nova Scotia tomorrow and soooooo excited to visit some of the places you have shared - safe travels and Happy Birthday !!
This is wonderful! My (former) blog is the Valley Family Fun with the Crystal Falls directions! So glad you were able to find it in the end. It's an incredible place. Thanks for exploring our neck of the woods!
Haven't felt this relaxed in a while but your videos always manage to do it!!😌😄 Absolutely stunning video, beautiful scenery and positivity😍. I hope you had the best birthday too Chesca!! 💕 What an incredible place to spend it, and the pizza omg🤤. Stay safe you lot, I hope you're having the best time because it certainly looks like it🥰. Lots of love xx
The forests are just so lush, I really wonder how they would look like in any other season, though I strongly suspect late summer to be the best one. 🤔 I can't believe a whole year has passed since the chaotic arrival in Greece, so much happend since then. I guess next year the mental throwback will be even more unbelievable! Happy belated birthday lovely! 🎂🥳 I really loved the hikes this week they seemed quite remote or was this a case of convenient filming? 😂 Anyways what a wonderful week it's been, sending hugs and love, until next week xx 💕
I imagine autumn must be amazing too. So many deciduous trees mixed in with the evergreens, the colours must be out of this world! I know, we always think where the hell will we be next year? What will have happened?! The hikes this week were very quiet, everywhere seems remote once you get off the main roads here 😆 The last hike is very, very popular. Passed around 30 people on the way back alone! But because we left so early we had it to ourselves 🧡 Hope you're having a magical weekend, sending loads of love from all of us xx 💕
I think our forests are even more beautiful in early fall as the leaves are turning bright orange, yellow and red. Winter is pretty stark but on a sunny day with sparkling snow it can be just as beautiful!
@@Bees-knees99 In autumn where I live the trees loose their leaves almost immediately. There are like 2-3 weeks that are quite beautiful and those are often so rainy that going outside is nasty. I just assumed it would be similar, my bad 😂
Loved this episode in our own backyard! We live in the Greenwood area, so I was excited to hear that you were going to visit Crystal Falls and then hike Cape Split. Two great hikes in our area. I agree with you about the local pizza places being excellent as well. I love seeing the joy that you all are getting from our small corner of Canada!
You live in such a beautiful area Eric! Got to say, Annapolis Valley was the best place to spend my birthday. Hikes, waterfalls, wine and pizza. Can't get better than that! 😍
I was so happy to watch your latest adventure - I kept checking to see if you had posted. As an ex Brit who has lived in Canada for a long time, I absolutely love the places you are visiting and the things you are doing. For all the years I've lived here I am ashamed to say I have not visited Nova Scotia. However, after watching your videos it's definitely on my list! Love that you have the dogs and they get to do just about everything that you do and thanks for the information about the ticks. Stay safe and if you have any further links to information on the StarLink I'd love to get that. Happy Birthday to a fellow Virgo.
We post every Sunday Lyn! 🥰 I hope these videos give you an idea of places to go in Nova Scotia, we think it’s a beautiful and hugely underrated part of the world. We just ordered the Starlink off their website, I think it varies depending on your location so maybe check on there and see what it says. As long as you have satellites covering your area you’re pretty good to go! Happy belated, or early birthday to you too 🥳💛✨
Loving the series! I just picked you guys up last week by watching your first video in Nova Scotia. I believe you have gained a lot of maritime Canadian fans like me that plan to follow you to Argentina. I hope you enjoy(ed) your stay in NS!
Started watching on my wife's account lastnight and I was hoping a new video would drop today! Awesome stuff guys! Love the content and I hope you are enjoying Scotia!
I'm not sure if you're still along the fundy coast, if so, Burnt Coat Head is a great place to experience the tides, especially if you can go both at low and high tide.
A great vlog with stunning visuals and great filming. You certainly seem to have had an epic Birthday you're unlikely to forget. Wishing you all the best.!
Thank you so much Nick 🧡 It was the best birthday! Spent doing fun things with my little family. Hope you're having a lovely weekend, sending love xx 💕
I live on the South Shore and have been enjoying watching your Nova Scotia videos immensely. It is so wonderful to see my province from someone else's eye. Oh yea and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 🎂
Have done Cape Split a few times. Love this hike and it’s incredible views on a sunny day. Love the wineries in the valley as well. As travelling across Ontario make sure you stop in the wineries in Prince Edward County as well as the Niagara region😊
Hikes, wine and pizza... couldn't have asked for a better birthday really! Cape Split was so beautiful! Glad we left early - on our way back we probably passed around 40 people heading up! 🧡
Happy Birthday Chesca! What better way to spend your birthday! Loving the look into Canada we are getting and can't wait for more to come! So sorry to hear about Rosie from Philly and Keely but please keep us updated and hopefully soon she will be in the UK. Sending positive vibes and strength 💗
Happy Birthday!!! mine was on Friday :) I am appreciating your videos of N.S. (down home) so much. My mother was from Bear River and i love seeing the land from where she was from. Thank you so very much for sharing it with all of us.
Woop happy belated birthday to you too! We've loved all this interior part of NS, so happy to hear you get joy seeing it too, with your mother being from Bear River. Thank you for watching 🧡
Birthday Wishes ...abound, As for your journey in the Annapolis Valley and the views of the Bay of Fundy.....stunning, and looking forward to your many stops across Canada on your way to Argentina!! God speed with your travels!! B
Thanks so much for sharing your journey. It is so beautiful to see my country through someone else’s eyes. My boyfriend just recently moved to the Annapolis valley. I told him to go to Big Mikes Pizza on your recommendation. When he told them how he found them Maria gave him a free pizza. Much love, enjoy Canada, and wishing you safe travels 💕
So crazy how I came across one of your videos on my youtube home page. It was the video where you drove down to Victoria Beach, Nova Scotia and you continued on a crazy dirt road that you ended up having to turn around on and camp at the beach by the wharf there in Victoria Beach. I actually remember seeing your camper van there as I went out to work on the boat in the early mornings to harvest seaweed. Then to come across your video randomly on UA-cam was super cool. Watched all of your videos of Nova Scotia so far and had to subscribe as you got me hooked. Keep up the good work and happy trails! I'm not sure if you've left Cape Breton yet, but Meat Cove is a must. But there's just so much to see in Cape Breton it's hard to know where to start. Egypt Falls is an amazingly beautiful falls and easy to access. Blueberry mountain is a hidden gem that provides the same vistas as Skyline trail but with way less tourists.
I think we remember seeing you! Did you go out on a tender from the harbour? Thank you so much for the kind words. That was one of our best weeks here, had such an adventure getting lost on that old logging road 😂 We really want to see Egypt Falls before we leave, and we won't miss Meat Cove! Thanks for the recommendation for Blueberry mountain too 💛
@@OverlandingSophia No that wasn't us since we have our own private boat landing on the other side of that beach you were camping on. If you remember facing the water and the wharf would be to your right, our boat was moored off in the water on your left on the other side of the beach and we would pass by your camper van in the boat in the early mornings. I remember thinking of how nice that camper van was that was parked on the Indian Beach. Then I watched a random video of it on UA-cam that I came across without even searching for it. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next video to see all of the adventures you have been on since leaving the Annapolis Valley. You're going to absolutely love Meat Cove if you can get some good weather! Be safe and have fun.
So happy to see my little province represented so lovingly. I live in Berwick but am a librarian in Kentville and Wolfville. Thanks to you I now know how to get to Crystal Falls. :) Lived here most of my life and have never been. Imagine!!! lol
Haha there are so many places where I'm from back home, that I haven't yet explored! It's always the case! Take this as your sign to get out to Crystal falls, it's truly breathtaking. AND we saw it in the rain! 🧡
Hi. Love seeing my home explored this way. I'm from the south shore and if you haven't already you should check out Lockeport. It is famous for it's beach which is on the 1952 $50 dollar bill. Nice big beach that connects the island to the mainland with rental cottages right up to the edge of the beach. And like most Nova Scotia beaches the water can be cold.
I grew up in Nova Scotia. Enjoy your time there...it's beautiful! Make sure you enjoy some deep fried clams while in the Annapolis Valley! Best place is in Annapolis Royal or Digby.
Bet you thought I'd fallen off the edge of the internet! ;) Loving this series, you're doing such an amazing job of bringing us all along on your adventure. It's almost like being there, except we don't smell like Deet ;) What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Here's to many more laps around the sun! Catch you next weekend! xx
That shot at 1:46 was dreamy depth shift. Such a cinematic dream fest. Love all the knowledge you are dropping in this. Jealous of that wee skinny dip!! That waterfall 🥰🥰 Happiest of Birthdays my love ❤️❤️
That was done manually! Walking towards Ben, zoom out on the lens and then a lil’ stabilising in post 🥰 Everytime I go swimming I wish you were there! You two would love it here so much xxx
Thanks for visiting our beautiful home. We sure hope you enjoy the rest. I got a kick out of "one of them: :) For some good ol Canadian lingo for you, we call the RCMP "the Mounties" so one RCMP officer would be "a Mountie"...Hope that helps :)
Starlink is amazing. Amazed you were able to get it so quickly. I had to wait a year. I guess they must be caught up here in Canada now. Have never been to Kejimkujik national park. Will have to check it out the next time I get a chance to go back to Nova Scotia. Enjoy your travels.
I am enjoying your videos so much! I can't wait for you to see the northern part of the province! Make sure you take a nice long drive along the Cabot Trail!
Ah thank you for watching Will! We couldn't have picked a better place to kick start our big road trip. Nova Scotia will always have a special place in our hearts 💕
You two are the sweetest pair! Happy birthday and many happy years ahead. I doubt you are going to make it to Wisconsin during your US visit - but if you do I’ve got lots of ideas.

Thank you so much Adam, Argentina feels so far away but it would be an honour to have some Maritimers with us for the whole ride. This place will always hold a soft spot in our hearts as the start of this journey for us 💛 and we’re still very much in Nova Scotia! Have a couple of weeks left, heading to Cape Breton. Saving the best until last?!
Born in Wolfville I left after 35 years in 2000 this is bringing back some great memories. I also must chime in on the need to try Donair it is a must. Also to bring circle you may want to check out Grand Pre National Historic Site, this remembers the point of expulsion of the Acadians. Might be a little late in the year to go tubing down the Gaspereau River
Glad you did Cape Split! Amazing place isn't it. Happy Birthday! Lots of great wineries and spirits and beers here. My favs for wine are Lucketts and Grand Pre.. Great pizza and food all over NS ! Try to do some apple picking if you are still in the valley!
Wonderful way to spend your Birthday Chesca. Fabulous time exploring and a awesome pizza 🍕 and Ben getting a wax hahaha. Fantastic video both, lovely forest and beautiful waterfall. What a fabulous adventure. Keep loving the life both, Love and Big Hugs Both ❤
Couldn't have asked for more! So glad you're enjoying the Canada vids, every week it surprises us with something new. Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Love and hugs xx 💕
Loving your series! I grew up in Nova Scotia, I moved to Ontario over 20 years ago but I miss NS terribly. Keji & Cape Split are great memories. I also miss little hole in the wall pizza shops -- I know everyone in the world prefers the style of pizza they grew up with, but nowhere else can compete with it IMO.
Thank you so much Matt! I hope the videos bring back some good memories for you, what a beautiful place to grow up 🤩 Keji is one of our highlights, wish we could have stayed longer! ✨✨
I'm glad I stumbled on your channel. I grew up in Nova Scotia and enjoy seeing all the sights again, you are pretty close to my old stompin' grounds at the end of this video. A+ for finding some good pizza but you gotta get on a donair with sweet sauce before you leave. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip. Don't know the full route that you have planned yet but I hope you keep coming west to see the beautiful rocky mountains.
Ah I hope these videos are bringing back some good memories for you! The pizza lady gave us donair sauce to dip our crusts into - incredible! We are definitely getting a donair soon 😃
Ah Starr, you're just the best. Always best to save it for the TV! Haha I'm not a mosquito magnet with the Deet spray! Those bastards have now taken to eating Ben alive 😂
lol you were in Greenwood! 10 mins away from where I group up! Definitely try a donair. If you can drive through the Rawdon Hills to get to the 102. That will take you to the Trans Canada near Truro so you can go to Cape Breton. That is another beautiful drive. It's also a little faster than going all the way down to Halifax then coming back up.
I'm glad you got to Keji! We would camp there at least once a year and visit more often than that. I think that hemlock and hardwoods trail is a national treasure. My great grandfather used to guide moose hunting expeditions in Keji with a First Nation chap from Bear River!
@@OverlandingSophia yeap, I'm getting there, just saw more on the East Coast including Miami, South Beach and I'm amazed at how you found North Beach for River & Scout. Also, I just saw that beach in Baja with the hut and where you didn't have to leave because the food vendors came to you. I thought I was great at finding awesome spots to boondock but you guys have superhero powers !!!
I am a new subscriber to your channel I am from Ontario Canada and was so pleased to find video's on exploring Canada and how you guys are showing the beauty of Canada. There are many beautiful places in Canada. Can't wait to see your next video.
So glad you got to visit my beautiful province and country. It's amazing how many Americans think we live in Igloos.😂 Love Kejimkujik Park. It's about 30 minutes from where I raised my children. Needless to say, they were outdoors all the time and continue that today into their 40s being very active in all outdoor activities. 😊 ❤
Love this 💕 When I think back to Nova Scotia I often think of this week in particular. Maybe it because it was my birthday but we did so much and saw so much beauty. Nova Scotia is SUCH a gem. So much beauty packed into a relatively small area. And everything from the ancient forests of Keji to the whales of Brier Island the mountains of Cape Breton. God we miss it! 💛

Happy Belated Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 Chesca! I was very happy to see you treated the cliffs of Cape Split with respect, like Peggy's Cove, there are several accidents that happen each year at Cape Split!
Well take this as a sign to head to one, pronto! 🍷 Lightfoot & Wolfville was beautiful, the wines amazing and the views over the Minas Basin were stunning. I am far too scared of heights to go anywhere near those crumbling cliffs! Hope the video brought back some good memories for you 💛✨
Firstly Happy belated birthday, another fun video and if I'm not too late if your heading to Cape Breton you must go to Meat Cove campground and park your van on the cliffs. Wonderful vistas and they have a little restaurant up there. Sue and I camped there several years ago our rig rocked gently through the night in the high winds. Sue was not impressed lol
Thanks for the tip Paul! We’ll certainly be heading to Meat Cove, so excited to get onto Cape Breton! We love being in the van in rough weather, it’s so cosy ☺️✨
Just started watching and you’re in my hood! Just outside Wolfville. I’m sure you’re on the road by now but if not you can check out the massive tide difference from high to low at Avonport beach. Great job guys, I’m really enjoying the content.
Glad you found the water in Greenwood. That is the least water I have seen at Crystal Falls but still nice. I think you have seen the best in the Valley. If you haven't finished the Cabot Trail yet I would highly recommend Blueberry Mtn. There is hardly anyone on the trail and the views are awesome. It isn't on the park map but it is on Alltrails.
What a fabulous way to spend your birthday, the hike was stunning. I loved that ancient forest, it's such a good thing that it's so valued. Also you can't beat a good skinny dip 😁. Looking forward to where you go next, stay safe love from Sue and Bryn xx

That sounds so magical Sarah!! Now THAT would have been a special way to celebrate a birthday 💛 🌙
Aha thank you my love 💕 I don’t do anything with it! Wash it once a week, wear it up at night. Its sometimes maybe good, maybe shit 😅
so beautiful thank you for sharing.... heading to Nova Scotia tomorrow and soooooo excited to visit some of the places you have shared - safe travels and Happy Birthday !!
Great content again, happy belated birthday 🎉 love watching and can’t wait for next Sunday xo have an amazing week!
Thank you so much Debbi! Have an amazing week too 😘 💛
This is wonderful!
I can't believe a whole year has passed since the chaotic arrival in Greece, so much happend since then. I guess next year the mental throwback will be even more unbelievable! Happy belated birthday lovely! 🎂🥳
I really loved the hikes this week they seemed quite remote or was this a case of convenient filming?
Happy birthday Chesca! Seems like the perfect way for you to celebrate! Glad you enjoyed Nova Scotia, looking forward to your upcoming adventures!
Thank you! Nova Scotia delivered on the birthday treats. Beautiful hikes, wine, pizza and sunshine. Couldn’t have asked for better 🥰💛
Always funny seeing someone exploring where you live. You just become so accustomed to everything around you. Hope you enjoyed 😉
I agree! Makes you look at home with fresh eyes 😊
Yep! New video every Sunday 😃 Thanks so much for the kind words and for watching, so pleased you're enjoying the videos 🧡
Happy birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉
Thank you so much Fiona 🧡 🥳
ahhh love a bit of Harry Keyworth! looks amazing you guys! Thanks for the content, excellent watching as usual... x
Check out Victoria Park when you go through Truro, and there is another nice set of falls that are easy to access in Wentworth
This makes us so happy, thank you for the kind words 💛✨
Have done Cape Split a few times. Love this hike and it’s incredible views on a sunny day. Love the wineries in the valley as well. As travelling across Ontario make sure you stop in the wineries in Prince Edward County as well as the Niagara region😊
Hikes, wine and pizza... couldn't have asked for a better birthday really! Cape Split was so beautiful! Glad we left early - on our way back we probably passed around 40 people heading up! 🧡
You have the best, most adorable dogs! Happy belated birthday too!
Well done guys, another great video and a belated Happy birthday x
Thank you so much 🥰 🥳
Happy Birthday Chesca! What better way to spend your birthday! Loving the look into Canada we are getting and can't wait for more to come! So sorry to hear about Rosie from Philly and Keely but please keep us updated and hopefully soon she will be in the UK. Sending positive vibes and strength 💗
Thank you Adam! The situation with Rosie is on-going and is very complicated, will update you all as soon as we have her back! xx 💕
Thanks so much Bruce! So happy to have you along with us for the ride! 💛
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHESCA! 🎂🎂🎂. Thanks for this video, it's always a pleasure to watch your videos. See you next week! Hugs and kisses
Thank you!! 🥳 Thanks for the kind words, so happy you're enjoying the videos. Hugs and kisses! 💕
I lived 6 great years in Greenwood and toured all of the maritimes...also did some camping in the park....have a wonderful time...
Lived here most of my life and have never been.
Imagine!!! lol
Haha there are so many places where I'm from back home, that I haven't yet explored! It's always the case! Take this as your sign to get out to Crystal falls, it's truly breathtaking. AND we saw it in the rain! 🧡
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! 🎂 VIRGO SISTER We 💜watching you guys
Woop only the best people are Virgos 🥰 🥳
One of the best beaches around!
I grew up in Nova Scotia. Enjoy your time there...it's beautiful!
Make sure you enjoy some deep fried clams while in the Annapolis Valley! Best place is in Annapolis Royal or Digby.
Happy belated birthday. Hike for your birthday, fab. Pizza sure did look yum. Take care x
Thank you so much Linda 💛 Pizza, wine and picnics, couldn't ask for much else! xx
Catch you next weekend! xx
Great job guys, video looks amazing. Taylor's Head is a must stop on your trip.
Thanks Allister 💛✨
True, a beautiful place to visit!!
New adventure episode in Canada. We like it. ❤️
Thank you Sergei! 🧡
Thanks for visiting our beautiful home. We sure hope you enjoy the rest. I got a kick out of "one of them: :) For some good ol Canadian lingo for you, we call the RCMP "the Mounties" so one RCMP officer would be "a Mountie"...Hope that helps :)
Haha the wine had slowed down my brain 😆 Mounties! Yes! I've heard that before. Much less of a tongue twister 😋 🧡
Love love love this series - clearly I have a bias but you’re doing a great job of ‘doing’ NS 💕💕💕
💕💕💕
You have been to a lot of the hidden treasures here in Nova Scotia, thank you so much for showcasing our beautiful province ❤️
Nova Scotia is full of them! We could spend a lifetime exploring here and still have more to see 🧡
Starlink is amazing. Amazed you were able to get it so quickly. I had to wait a year. I guess they must be caught up here in Canada now.
Have never been to Kejimkujik national park. Will have to check it out the next time I get a chance to go back to Nova Scotia. Enjoy your travels.
Dispatched and delivered within a couple of weeks! Very impressed. And super impressed with the speed. It’s a game changer! ✨✨
I am enjoying your videos so much! I can't wait for you to see the northern part of the province! Make sure you take a nice long drive along the Cabot Trail!
This is awesome to hear, thank you Tiffanie! Cannot wait to do the Cabot trail 🤩 xx
thanks for showing off our beautiful province looks like you enjoy it as much as we do...and have a great bday
Thanks so much for the kind words and birthday wishes Wendy! 🧡
Happy Birthday Cesca. May you have many more adventures
Thank you so much 🥰 🥳
Loving the series! I just picked you guys up last week by watching your first video in Nova Scotia. I believe you have gained a lot of maritime Canadian fans like me that plan to follow you to Argentina. I hope you enjoy(ed) your stay in NS, especially my back yard Cape Breton
Your adventure is so inspiring 🤩 Reminds me of roadside camping we did in Cape Breton back in the day ❤
Thank you so much Terry, you must have some wonderful memories camping in Cape Breton! We can’t wait to head there soon 🥰✨
Happy belated birthday Ches,, looks like you had a great day.
Thank you Ian, had the best day 💛
Loving your series!
Class vid..i absolutely love the way u have to swim in every body of water u see lol..cant beat the feeling of wild swimming.
Haha I think it’s an addiction, especially in the humid summer heat. You’d think I’d have learnt to carry towels by now 😂💛
Happy Birthday Chesca! Ben certainly knows how to spoil you 🍕🧁😉🍷😁🎉
Thank you Stevie! Those emojis sum up the day so well 😂
I'm glad I stumbled on your channel.
Yes!!!!!!!! Marie from Big Mike's is THE BEST 👌 😍
She really is!! I loved her 😍😍 And the pizza.. !! 🤌🤌
I couldn’t wait. Pulled over on the side of the road to watch 🙂 Heading home now to stream to my TV
A mosquito magnet you are Ches 🦟
Ah Starr, you're just the best. Always best to save it for the TV! Haha I'm not a mosquito magnet with the Deet spray! Those bastards have now taken to eating Ben alive 😂
lol you were in Greenwood! 10 mins away from where I group up! Definitely try a donair. If you can drive through the Rawdon Hills to get to the 102. That will take you to the Trans Canada near Truro so you can go to Cape Breton. That is another beautiful drive. It's also a little faster than going all the way down to Halifax then coming back up.
Stunning.
I'm glad you got to Keji! We would camp there at least once a year and visit more often than that. I think that hemlock and hardwoods trail is a national treasure. My great grandfather used to guide moose hunting expeditions in Keji with a First Nation chap from Bear River!
Bear River the best!
Love everything about this! Keji was so beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer 💛 Bet your great grandfather had some amazing stories to tell ✨✨
GR8 VID ~ LOVED ❤ IT !!!
I'm getting close to watching them all if this is episode #4
You must be close now!! 😂
Ah this honestly means so much, thank you 💛 🥰
So glad you got to visit my beautiful province and country. It's amazing how many Americans think we live in Igloos.😂
Love Kejimkujik Park.
@@OverlandingSophia 💖💕 I've lived in four provinces and Nova Scotia is my favourite, second to BC which has become too over populated and expensive now compared to when I lived there. I've lived here in Nova Scotia the longest.
How did you make out in Calgary with the traffic?
@@momatheartreborns It wasn’t too bad! We skirted around the edge so didn’t head into the city itself. We mostly find cities aren’t Van or dog friendly, so we usually avoid them 😅
So glad you are enjoying my home and native land! I have never been to one of our local wineries 🍷 and it's been many years since I have been to Crystal Falls and Cape Split!
Hope the video brought back some good memories for you 💛✨
Wow - Canada looks amazing - thanks for sharing your travels
Thanks for watching Chris! Canada is incredible 😍💛
Happy birthday, dear Chesca!!!
Thank you so much Peter! 💛
Happy birthday dear Chesca. Wish you the best of everything.
Thank you so much my love 💕💕
Firstly Happy belated birthday, another fun video and if I'm not too late if your heading to Cape Breton you must go to Meat Cove campground and park your van on the cliffs. Wonderful vistas and they have a little restaurant up there. Sue and I camped there several years ago our rig rocked gently through the night in the high winds. Sue was not impressed lol
Thanks for the tip Paul! We’ll certainly be heading to Meat Cove, so excited to get onto Cape Breton! We love being in the van in rough weather, it’s so cosy ☺️✨
We live in the Annapolis Valley (just outside Annapolis royal) 😊 it's so beautiful here!! We're blessed
Happy Birthday Chesca and many, many, MORE. :)
Thank you my dear Eddie! 🥰💛
Happy birthday - and boy how hungry are we after seeing that pizza - xx
And happy birthday to Marianne too! 1st September is reserved for the best 🥳 xxx
Brilliant. Another great video.
Perhaps in a little partial, being this one was where I'm at.
What a fabulous way to spend your birthday, the hike was stunning. I loved that ancient forest, it's such a good thing that it's so valued. Also you can't beat a good skinny dip 😁. Looking forward to where you go next, stay safe love from Sue and Bryn xx
The forest was so beautiful! Felt like a cathedral almost, so tranquil and majestic. Hehe I love a skinny dip! Just need to convince Ben to get his kit off 😂😂 Hope you’re doing well Sue, sending love xx 💕
Really enjoying these videos. Love that you went to crystal falls. I grew up in that area and the falls were a favourite hangout. So happy to see you enjoying our beautiful province. I live in Halifax now and have lots of water if you ever need.. safe travels
Thanks so much Ryan 💛 the falls were crazy beautiful! Even in the rain. What a beautiful part of the world you grew up ✨✨
At present 🎁 or belated, Happy Birthday 🎂! I had never been to Nova Scotia, so love ❤ your vlogs! Really could get lost in that preserve Hemlock forest and all it's beauty! Charming the both of you!
Thank you so much Laura! The hemlock grove was magical, like something from an Elven kingdom 🧝🏻♂️✨
Keji is probably my favorite place in NS. Next time you are back you must camp there, you can spend days on the trails and at the beaches. ❤️
We can see why! It's one of our favourite places we've ever been. Would have absolutely loved to camp and stay there for a few days 💛
Belated Happy Birthday Chesca!
Woop thank you Darryl! 🧡
Happy Bday Chesca! :) Hope you had a wonderful day!
Thank you! Wine and pizza, couldn’t get much better 🤌💛
Ahh Cape Split is a great hike with a wonderful payoff at the end. That pizza looked amazing and I'll be sure to check it out the next time I'm in Kentville.
It’s actually in New Minas! Best pizza we’ve had in a long time, and Maria who runs it is a legend ✨💛
Hey Guys, Happy belated birthday to you Chesca! I’m back a little late, anyways, the park looks great, they’ve obviously thought very carefully about tourism to the park too..
I love lakes, the scenery is so peaceful! Ah great so happy you’ve got the StarLink at last, always the way isn’t it when your road is closed.. but you’ve done so well to find it, and was definitely worth the hunt! Shame about the rain, but there’s always tomorrow! Always take a birthday picnic! Oh what a view from the lookout and the top of the cliff! 😍. Haha.. why not have 5 glasses of wine 🍷 I love pizza! It’s soo good! Ah a nice little Cake 🍰! Great video as always, enjoy and see you next week!
And a happy belated birthday to you too Mark! A fellow Virgo ✨✨ And exactly, why not have 5 glasses of wine on your birthday 🥳 🍷 Hope you’re having a good one, sending loads of love from Canada to Tiverton xx 💕
@@OverlandingSophia thank you for the birthday wishes, virgos are great! Anyway, having a good time thanks, I send love back to canada 🇨🇦 x
You are in the right place this sad day. Queen Elizabeth herself was here several times over the years. Driven up our street too.
