This is great and has been on my mind for 15 years as a Christian. Our Church has our small groups learning to share the Gospel, and on Sundays our Pastor is preaching through the book of Acts. If you want my vote, yes keep making podcasts like this to get our pastors to take their positions seriously, preach the word! Liked, Shared, Comment, Copied the transcription, and Subscribed. Keep up the good work.

Love this discussion! I’m an older Christian for 50 years, I was so bummed pastor’s bowed down to do everything to keep people in the world satisfied . Let the Church be the church ! It’s the spirits job to grow the church

“When you attract the presence of God, the presence of God will attract people” wow… this dramatically changed my perception on ministry. Thank you

Love this podcast. Really appreciated Pastor Russell’s insight and all the wisdom and discussion shared by you all. My husband and I lived in Washington through Covid and worked for state government. As a leader in state government, my husband was in many meetings and discussions on enforcing gatherings. As believers we were at a crossroads with work, vaccine requirements and work enforcement requirements. This leads us to leave our beloved home state but brought us here to TX and ultimately to LP. Thank you for the podcasts. Love them all.

This is phenomenal. The depth of Gods wisdom and trench experience being spoken. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

Yes! This spoke to me for sure. Speak the truth of the Word. That is what I have been looking for since recently coming back to church. I have been watching both Josh’s podcasts regularly 😊 and I have to say it is what I have been looking for. Thank you for this!

I appreciate Pastors who are bold and preach God’s Truth. Lift up Christ and He will draw people to Him. Wish more Pastors were bold like Pastor Russell Johnson that is why God is using him so much because he focuses on honoring Christ

“I think people are tired of pastors, using theological or cultural ambiguity as a strategy to broaden their influence; ‘As long as I dance in the murky middle, and people really don’t know where I’m at, or what I believe, or how I synthesize data, or how I view the world, then it makes me the most approachable and I’m able to grow wide...’ Well, you’re able to go wide, but you’re not able to go deep.” - P. Russell Johnson
“Don’t worry about offending someone (in apostolic boldness); worry about starving someone who is hungry for good (spiritual) food.” -P. Josh McPherson
“Apostolic boldness does not result in obnoxious Christians. If done in the power of God, the Spirit of God, and the Word of God, I think it results in more tender, gentle, loving, authentic, and truly compassionate Christians, who love people.”
    -P. Josh McPherson
WOW! So much gold in these statements... Keep these podcasts coming!

What does discipleship and community/small groups look like to be most effective in a negative world church?

32:13 be silent on every issue or matter of truth in order to appease the most easily offended pagan that sits in our pews. 💥

I think "The Of Course list" is so important. The negative world is a double edge sword. How do you relate to anyone in ngative world who presumably has no real knowledge of Jesus or the purpose of the church. Thye only know secular charatures of Jesus!

I enjoy the podcast, but it seems to be directed more to pastors than church members. Is thar intentional? Honest question.
