Welcome to our channel! In this video, we bring you the latest updates on the National Exit Test (NExT), the new examination introduced by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in India. The NExT exam is set to revolutionize the way medical students are evaluated, replacing the final-year MBBS examinations and the National Eligibility Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) entrance exam.
In this comprehensive video, we delve into the details of the NExT examination, providing you with all the essential information you need to know. The NExT Step 1 is a computer-based examination based on high-quality Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), designed to assess the higher domains of knowledge expected of Indian medical graduates. We discuss the subjects covered, the inclusion of applied aspects, and the examination schedule.
Moving on to the NExT Step 2, we explore the practical and clinical examination that evaluates competencies in clinical diagnosis, patient examination, clinical decision making, and practical and communication skills necessary for the modern practice of medicine in India. We provide insights into the subjects evaluated and the timing of this crucial examination.
Furthermore, we share some additional important information confirmed by the NMC Chairperson, Dr. Suresh. For batches prior to 2019, including interns and post-interns, there is an option to take NExT Step 1 if one is not confident about the NEET PG 2024 examination. This information opens up possibilities for candidates to secure seats in 2025 after successfully completing NExT Step 2.
Stay tuned as we navigate through the intricacies of the NExT examination, its impact on medical education, and the future of medical professionals in India. We also touch upon recent updates in the field, including the addition of new medical colleges and the status of recognition for existing institutions.
If you are a medical student or aspiring to be one, this video is a must-watch! Subscribe to our channel for more updates on the NExT examination and other developments in the medical field.

@@medicos3 earlier in draft it was mentioned that student need to clear next 1-2 within 10 years from the date of joining mbbs
Is this applies for BAMS students?
No , they didn’t give any clarification on this
Unprepared unprecedented move by NMC...
Despite knowing the consequences they are bombarding new rules laws in medical education which wont help at any cost to future aspirant and doctors
They are simply eliminating reservation system in smart way
That’s true😪 .. NMC played well !!
It's like filtering candidates
And yeah merit triumphs over reservations!
