What about the actual quality of the doctors being created if the qualifying percentage is so low, there is no concept of aptitude
Irony is these rich brats will cry over the reservation for marginalized and lecture on merit, but at the same time use their generational wealth to cover up their incompetency.
💯💯💯
My friend Rich does not mean general. A OBC , SC ,ST can also be Rich.
Most general candidates are middle class hard working people. And are Systematically denied 60% of seats flat. And need to compete with the whole population for 40% unreserved seat.
So why the hatred towards General candidate?
Chamar 🤡🤡🤡🤡 gareeb bhangi
I am a general, I dont have this much money!
@@ryanroshan2732 exception do exist but one of my general category classmate scored 400/720 marks in neet studies in deemed University with 80 lakh fees some study in private engineering colleges with 25 -40 lakh fees
Fact is 99.9% general category is able to afford hefty fees coz they are filthy rich if you can't believe go and check in Google some official data 😏
Remarkable presentation with required data..! I got 403 out of 720 (2022) but couldn't managed MBBS seat.., finally left medical and unwillingly joined B Tech (CS). Hope Central Government will take a serious note of this factual situation and will do the needful to again restore faith of NEET aspirants.
Nothing will change, until you vote right candidate.
@@nadukinda2594 whom to vote then according to you? Currently there's only 2 option BJP or congress......atleast bjp more than doubled the medical seats in just last 10 years congress never cared a bit too
This is common knowledge among students that Engg(cs) is better than MBBS Degree. When this thought process becomes riveted among good students, MBBS will be attractive only for the rich and mediocre students and then quality and number of good doctors shaal be very limited. It is high time that HEFTY fees of private medical colleges should be regulated even at the cost of subsidy.
@@Sourav_2k03more than doubled? That's a good thing? Ask medical students who are admitted in these colleges or residents working there. It's all a sham
403 me to SC ST reservation se bhi mbbs nahi milne wala. So you should have studied harder rather than complaining.
Eye opening revelation about NEET nexus with education for the rich!
Sir I am Neet student I didn't understand why the cut off was low, that's the reason 😢
It's so perfectly planned system which destroys lakhs of students hope 😢
But it's need to be reformed 🙏
Most of the private med colleges r owned by MP s of our country. So u can be pretty sure that whoever comes in power hardly there is any chance of change. Medical education in our country is a business of almost 10000 crore. On top of that govt gets high tax @ revenue from this private institutes , on the contrary in govt institute govt has to bear high subsidized rate. Our country is rapidly shifting from a welfare state ( western europe) to capitalist ( USA) one. So this legalisation of illegalities is a new normal in India.
Yes agreed. If 30-35 is the routine pass mark in schools and colleges, why 40 can’t be the cutoff for such a largest public PROFESSIONAL test like NEET/ JEE? …Money matters!
@@dr.ebenezerwar1381so, 35-40 marks is your standard and you expect good doctors from such people who score so less, despite easier exams. No wonder this country is in a mess.
@@rajx7120 you got me wrong I am saying in percentage. The cut off is so low in NEET , a 120 score or for that matter a 167 this year can get someone a private medical. Even if the authority for reason best known to them wants to make it low at least 40%( ie more than the usual school pass mark) of the 720 or more may be more appropriate.. For that matter Passmark throughout MBBS exams is 50
@@rajx7120 you got me wrong. What I meant is the NEET cut off is extremely low . Imagine instances of someone with a score as low as 14% getting admission in a private medical college. If school passmark is generally 30-35%, why not 40 or more percent for a test as huge and prestigious like NEET? This way we are more likely to get decent doctors all over the country. Btw 50% is a passmark for all subjects in all the stages of MBBS
and cutoff of NEETPG last year was 0 ,,yeah zero , out of 800 if someone score zero he/she can get admission in private medical college ...last year a doctor with score 7 ( seven) took radiology seat with 11crore rupee
Vitamin protein: that is ok ... what about admissions to govt/public colleges? ... it is ok if zero score is just to hand them list of colleges which will take them ... zero simply means there are colleges which do not trust neet score and if those are doing their own entrance testing then it is okay ... if not may be such colleges need to have their license cancelled ... one this sure colleges which will take zero scoring candidate must be pretty disparate for students ... i am curious if there were ever zero scoring candidates
Dude radio seat seriously 😂😂😂 loma gets ur facts right
@@spookyautonomy yes (dude) 😅 my facts are on point, last year a doctor took radio for 11crore after scoring 7marks in neetpg in geetanjali medical college, udaipur
If u don't believe u can check
The public has become so helpless due to the system failure
This is the punishment for us for forgetting all this on the day of voting
Excellent video. Politicians own many private medical colleges that profiteer from the deliberately created shortage of medical seats.
Modi's model to promote rich families' ability to push Munna bhais in Indian medical system.
An eye-opening presentation.
I studied from a private medical college because I couldn’t get a govt seat after 2 attempts my father used his hard earned money to get me through so what’s wrong with that.
Hope that after watching this video, the viewers have understood why seats are not increased in Government colleges and why the qualifying marks are kept so low. Nexus between private medical college owners and -------. Sad reality.
govt donot decide the qualiying marks
@@yamatekudasai2164 NTA decides qualifying marks which is near about 20% for general category and less for some other categories.
ITS NOT JUST 48%, BUT MORE THAN 75% SEATS FOR RICH.
In a lot of states, 75% of Publicly funded but Trust run Govt Medical colleges, they collect very high fees.
Very well presented, we got a clear idea how harmful this NEET is for the common middle man and no wonder TN state always kept opposing NEET
Please please do not go there. With the existing NEET system atleast some meritorious students get into government colleges and become good doctors. DMK is corrupt to the core and they have stakes in all private colleges. Left to them .. not even a few meritorious one would get to be doctors.. it will all go to rich.
You failed to say the most important point that MBBS has no value after all these years of jugglery
Exactly..MBBS is unnecessarily given the Hype.
Alternative optiona for medical students should be highlighted.
True. Overhyped course.
Yes it's overhyped as a doctor I am telling you it's not worth 1 to 1.5 cr. 5.5 Yr of mbbs 1 2 Yr bond pg 3 Yr 1-2yr bond again. Tier 2 tier 3 cities are saturated. After minimum 10yr studying you will get decent job 1.5 to 2 lpa. And lot of patient problem also.
It is false. Mbbs doctors do earn a lot in PHCs and Rural Chcs. My best friend earned 10 lakhs working for 4 months as a fresh mbbs graduate. Private hospitals in cities also pay 1 lakhs for fresh mbbs grads
Foreign students from Malaysia are throwing money to get into the Medical College in Manipal. Merit is definitely not the criteria for admission.
My goodness. The central gov will dictate how many doctors a state teaches at their own cost? How are they even allowed to do this? The people of the state are the responsibility of the state. The health is responsibility of the state. How can GOI enforce rubbish sitting in delhi?
The government is responsible for the downfall of the system. Similarly the parents have to take an equal share if not more for this state. One question that needs to be answered is being a doctor or an engineer the only way out
This is undoubtedly one of the best videos regarding the heinous character of our so-called policy makers. We are definitely going for a total disaster. Hope the NEET authorities listen to this and ask their conscience
Totally Pathetic system this and it is normalised here 600 will drop and 137 will take admission absolute crap and bullshit. This System has many loopholes and its been using by many rich people out there and people like us are suffering. like for real you are considering 137 no out of the one who has scored 600? no wonder as long as this will continue nothing is going to change. i hope government understand this and let 100% deserving people enter into the arena of mbbs. excellent video btw very well articulated.
You are so great sir. I can comment here not at LinkedIn. Because I am in my mid career and doing job is necessary for me to feed the family.
Excellent presentation Mr Peri, thank you for putting the water before horse, now it is for horse to drink or not......
Informative without doubt. The presenter should have actually also compared with the pre-NEET position with due adjustment of fees for inflation. Also could have tabulated who are the real promoters (read as politicians) of the private colleges which charge exorbitant fees.
Again after getting the degree by scoring negative marks..they join government hospitals.
Because degree is all that is required.
Very good point. One set of data missing where some 40-50% private colleges have 15% government seats costing around 25L.
Cutoff should be "number of categories seats" * 1.5.
Eg if general category have 50k seat then total eligible candidates should be 75K from top in general. If SC have 10K then total seat for SC should be 15K from top.
Excellent Analysis with complete data PeriMaheswar gaaru.. Kudos.. 👍👏
Remarkable efff sir. Wonderful presentation. Must be addressed asap
Thank you Sir. This is revealing.
Today the NEET the leakage of question paper the persons who are involving is should be rigorous punished
Reservations for the Rich, Economically Weak Section with 8lpa paying crores of rupees for “merit of avg 14% marks” is a troubling discovery. The government has the funds! More money must be allocated to building medical colleges in all states 🗿
It clearly shows that the real losers here is the meritorious students of our country who can't afford the crore wala fee structure.Half of total seats is not affordable, that is ridiculous
No wonder we have doctors who are running behind money with no ethics !!This is Pathetic...
Why can't they add more seats in our govt colleges? And build more public medical colleges?
First of all no infrastructure
Currently also they give more seats to GMC even though no infrastructure and staff matches for the number of students leading to low quality of medical education
Best information…and this should be aired on every news channel
Respeect ++ , What a greatly researched video SIR . Keep making such videos .
Excellent analysis Peri Sir. It's a proper CA analysis, not everyone's cup of tea
Well researched 👏👏♥️.
I think we should think of other reservations also. To pramot this also the cut off is less so that they can get the seat.
Very good. Pm and cm and ministers must watch and know the status of medical education
My opinion is Private hospitals should enploy these third grade doctors coming out from private medical college, so that patients avoid private hospitals😂
Excellent for your marvelous effort...hats off sir..
Nice presentation.
Informative
Well researched 👍🏻
Thank you Maheshwar Peri for this eye opener. Please enlighten us with video on other exams eg. JEE.
Very very well explained, very much informative👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 thanks a lot sir .
Thank you sir.. it's really alarming
i studied from a pvt school in kolkata, scored 540 last yr but couldnt get in a govt clg. However my other gen frnds , having big family businesses and owning ration shops, took out ews certificate and got in with lower marks than me.West Bengal govt gave away ews certificates to many people loyal to TMC or businessmen.
Yeah same here in tamilnadu.Dont lose heart child ,if not mbbs, there are so many other courses you can do.this is not the end of the world
Thank you for highlighting this important issue sir. Medical education is expensive even for those who are supposed to pay 5-6 lakhs. Our per capita income is very low. How can the government even allow medical education to be in crores given how poor our doctor patient ratio and public infrastructure is! A majority of poor Indians are only aware about a few respectable professions, one of which is a doctor. What do they even dream of? How much debt ridden do we have to be in this bad economy with no jobs? How do we expect doctors to not become corrupt when they have to pay crores to become one and then further study for MD? No country can thrive without a strong nationalised public education and medical system. We're sitting on a time bomb of novel virus and antibacterial resistant contagion along with rising cancers. People here continue to die from preventable diseases and medical students are being charged crores. Shame on this government and country who do nonstop hindu muslim instead of talking about real issues.
Kudos to you sir for this informative analysis..hope this will trigger some policy correction
Though there were some abrupt cuts......the data you showed and how you simplified it opened up a broader picture and exposed that how policies are favored for some
Instead of subsidizing the fee itself, it is better to give scholarship based on economic criteria. But it is hard to judge economic criteria of a person. For this, we need nore formalization. Proper registration of all land records is needed to be linked with PAN and Aadhaar.
Very good presentation!
Reality brought forth with data!
Great analysis…
Thank you sir for enlightening us all about the statistics of NEET and it's real picture but I beg to differ about your biased views about FMG Medical graduates coz not all universities abroad are of the same standards. There are definitely fantastic Medical colleges abroad with well equipped hospitals too and the standard of education too is par excellence, hence you just cannot compare Indian & International school of medicine. And ,by the way FMG graduates as well as our Indian medical students will be appearing for NEXT from the coming year as FMGE will no more be conducted exclusively for foreign Medical graduates..so there won't be any discrimination between Indian or foreign Medical education and those students who don't plan to return to India at all, then they need not worry about any kind of furthermore leaky Indian Exams..
You should do a costs analysis rather than a fee analysis. Why should taxpayers pay doctors’ education cost. The facilities at public institutions are really pathetic. We should charge an appropriate fee for medical education which allows medical colleges to cover their costs. We should help students get loans to cover costs. Subsidies are never good except when very well directed.
Great presentation Mr.Peri.
By the rich for the rich. Most rich are sawarna so hail collegium.
Can you please tell us as to how many SC/ST and OBC NCL students get into these private and deemed universities? The fee structure you showed doesn't seem to have any separate fee structure for SC/ST and OBC NCL. Can you please give this data since you were able to figure out that 2% seats in these non-government universities were taken by EWS? Another useful statistic would be to find out how many students who were eligible for private universities did not join because they could not afford it.
If you look at financial means of students in all the categories, you will find that a lot of them are very economically capable and they keep suppressing others in categories. This is the reality of life.
We need twice as many government medical colleges in the country. Not only will students benefit, government hospitals will benefit from the internships that these students do as part of their medical training.
Who will pay for it? Taxpayers
@@supersmart671mandir bananeme paise de sakte ho aur college bananeme nahi? Baadi adbhut baat hai ye to
@@antiaverage0001 Why do you want the Taxpayers money for establishing colleges when majority won't stay back?
Excellent articulate presentation 👍🏻👍🏻
what a brilliant display of statistics! great job.
Kudos to you ❤❤❤, unless there's no Honest visionary Govt in very state & Center our country is going to suffer and will remain in 3rd world country bracket. Though listing to you I feel some hope remaining but real change is required on all levels which is beyond your scope, Now if Govt of Tamil Nadu and as CM Stalin project himself should appoint you in education dept to bring large amount of reforms.
Since after AIPMT the standard of pre medical exam has in real gone somewhat down in terms of quality of exam level of question selected new medicos procedures of counselling to fill Govt medical colleges.. Education syst6needs serious introspection what they r making out of students instead of giving them trauma time to time.. Pls raise your voice every concerned youth and teachers 😢😢
Medical College की फीस बहुत ज्यादा है और हम डॉक्टर में भगवान का रूप खोजेंगे तो कहाँ से मिलेगा Businessman ही मिलेगा 😅😅
Great video 🎉🎉
Nice information sir you are great 🎉🎉🎉
Very true sir, same concern I raised to the education minister
An Excellent & eye opening video
Reneet for qualified neet only.
Good analysing with data.
Brilliant video!
Nice presentation. Informative 👍.
CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE US WISER REGARDING-NeXT exams
Are born in poor family is a curse ? 🙂
Health ministry should check this...
Beautiful representation. Seats, fee structure for pvt medical colleges should be controlled and NRI quota abolished.
Get a national level exit exam for all these students.
Superb analysis
Great Video sir.
And then there is another hidden reservation for the rich, access to better resources and coaching. Not sure how the coaching world is now shaped up, but, back in my days, mostly the urban middle class and upper middle class kids made it to IITs. Of course, most of my classmates were smart and would easily make it top 5% or so even in a truly equal society. But a highly differentiated society like India makes their merit appears way too exotic.
It is very important to take re-NEET because cheating has happened on a large scale here. If there is re-examination then all these people will be eliminated and those who are genuine students will be selected.
🙏🙏🙏 wow very great information...
Great picture by you sir.फिर भी सरकार चुप रहती है।
Very good presentation....similarly, do one for JEE & JEE Advanced & KOTA factory
You should also take into account the cost of establishing and running a private medical college. The fees is accordingly high
So in Govt colleges low marks students get admission based on caste and in private colleges and abroad low marks students get admission due to rich parents. So most of the future doctors in India are going to be low marks students. Great.
No.. 450+ is the cutoff of SC students which is not low and also it is no where nearer to a pvt clg student with 120 marks
Yes kind of
Actually it doesn't matter if you in a college with low marks. What matters is how well they do in med college. Mbbs is not for smart ppl it's for hard working ppl. The subjects here doesn't need brain all you have to read revise and remember. I have seen many management students getting good ranks in neet pg and neet ss.
What a joke bro 😂😂😂
@@sauravjoshi1929 you mean without hard work one can get government seats😂
thanks , very nice presentation. but we also heard that some pvt colleges have same fee as govt college to students of that state. example; gujarat, gipmer and maharaja agrasen, hissar. is it correct. if so than bleak picture outlined may improve
What an eye opening video
MBBS is unnecessarily given the Hype.
MBBS alone has no value in private practice nowdays.
Even after mbbs Rat race dont end?i lnstead it becomes more cutthroat.
Alternative optiona for medical students should be highlighted.
Govt college students are studying on the tax paid by rich
OMG this is horrible situation for medical aspirants 😱😱😱
Getting a govt seat is just the beginning. The real challenge comes during MBBS and the exams after it. If you aren't 💯 committed, I suggest you don't take this course. After all this job deals with matters regarding life and death!
in educational testing field we call a test as highly reliable if scores will be repeated upon retest and highly valid if the testing actually measures the skill basket that candidates will actually need (and that is why neet type tests need to be multi-part to cover all skill basket) ... that is we call a score scale valid if it has high correlation with success in academics and careers that follow academics and by that i do not mean how much money they will make but how well they will perform as physicians or if they pursue post grad in molecular biology and engage in finding new useful and cheaply manufacturable molecules ... from what you say it seems that neet is not at all a valid test for medical admissions ... i think so we need to have a system of one or two years of education that will prepare them for western style medicine or alternative medicine or chemistry so that intake to main course receives a more homogeneous student population for all 3 or 4 areas: (1) mainstream medicine (2) alternative medicine (3) nursing, paramedicine (4) molecular chemistry ... and then we will have smaller number of aspirants for each stream who know really know what they really want to do ... ex-high school students lack maturity and specific knowledge to make informed career decision
GRT sir thanks ❤
Reservation is the curse of Nation
You cannot force private medical college to lower the fee and take poor average students, in that case you have to give them grant. Let us abolish NEET system for private medical college, but make sure they have to pass the license examination (needs to be tough) for their future practise. In the same case for getting admission in cheap private college you only have to take medical test efficiently, thats all
Great job
Total economy of Private medicals from MBBs seats is at around 13000 Cr ..
Treatment fees is left aside..
Medical infrastructure with a large profit motive may not be a good option
Root cause of suffering is attachment
Know the reality, know your capabilities, and strength....and move on to other course
Don't waste time and potential
It's reality
Very nice video
Excellent
We should demand explaination for this loot and bring the institution under same system . Anything over 3/5 lac shoukd be reported . What do they pay the staff and teachers . Who will afford this and the people not deserving will ruin our healthcare Probably their own family go to them for problems. Mediocrasy is rampant and so the hospitals fleece the patients out .
Damn I never thought this would be the reason for such a low cut-off.
Well presented Sir... I agree it is the eye opener for common people. But unfortunately, not for the political systems of our country. One more important point you missed is the reservation system. That also limits the chances of the deserved students in our country.
Great video
The same problem exists in developed countries like USA, Canada and so on. They don't have Private and deemed universities, but limited Government seat, so students go to smaller countries and study medicine. This is worldwide issue, not specific to India. At least in India, only NEET decides the selection for admission, in developed countries, MCAT and personal interview decides the selection. You can imagine, what happens when Personal interview is part of selection, only family and friend's children can become doctor.
